New interview with Eric Thompson is a must see.

This new interview with Alaska Dispatch is far more detailed than the ones that Thompson has given before, and it also serves to really allow you to understand his situation, including his feelings of betrayal and sadness at how he was treated by both the McKenna brothers and the media.

I am also including a link to his Go Fund Me page so that you can see his progress, and perhaps donate if you have not done so already.

There is safety in numbers. If more people were like this gentleman Alaska would be a better place to live. There's no freedom when you live in fear of worthless assholes like the Palins.

Maybe the Palins should revisit the tale of Soapy Smith and what happened to him when he got too big for his britches.

I donated last night when he was at $5085. It would be great if more Alaskans do so too. Even $5, to show support. Hope he makes his goal this week. And if he has to, increase the goal. He may not get a job very soon. A potential employer may not want the "limelight" and/or afraid of the Palin repercussion. And any legal settlement will take months if not years. He definitely is worthy of all support in this matter. If he did get a great job, and donations are excessive, I bet the family would donate it to charity. Thank you to the Thompson family for being brave.

I don't see how it should affect him in the future. He does not seem to be a guy who likes to be in the limelight, and once things have settled, and he gets a job, he will be lying low again like he has during his whole life.

I would suggest for everybody to either donate on his gofundme page, or on his email address he has opened just for this. I did last night, giving with PayPal. Like that, you can be anonymous, and do not have to give your credit card number.

Yeah, try your best Palin pee-troll to spin it like he's using the money to literally take a vacation to Hawaii. He's probably wants to hide out from all the hullabaloo & take the time to re-group and do something like GO FISHING you dumb@ss.

Anonymous 8:53. Yes, a forced vacation from a job that he'd rather being working at right now. He only did what his supervisor asked him to do. He gave a statement to the police, so that Bristol Palin couldn't turn the tables and press assault charges against the same man she hit repeatedly. I'm sure Mr. Thompson would rather be at work right now - doing his thing - looking like Wolverines' favorite uncle.

I would think the McKenna's would beg him to come back to them. I would think they would pay him off in the $100,000s or more. The truth is going to hurt the syndicate up there that the McKenna's are so enmeshed in.

Thompson would not be safe. He doesn't have to risk his life or that of his family. He doesn't have to go back to a place he knows is corrupt.

Isn't the Korey guy another McKenna employee? Look what happened to him. Do you believe he is free to speak the truth?

Korey seems like he was a nice man. Do you think he would be in favor of the way Tripp, a child, was treated? He may have to keep his mouth shut and lie or he would be in jeopardy. It was his house where the bloody fight with Tripp around occurred. When you own property and you allow or cover up things like drugs and child endangerment you have responsibilities.

Same with Todd. What would his face look like after one week? How long will that take to heal?

What about others that were injured?

The police would have known Korey Klingenmeyer was brutally attacked and taken pictures (evidence)

Thank you, Mr. Thompson, for keeping this in the news. The Palins will do everything they can to make this fade away. It's already happening.

When Mrs. Palin yelled out "don't you know who we are?", she wasn't referring to her celebrity status. She was referring to the fact that you don't mess with them or they'll have your head. I'm sure of it. I hope there aren't any suspicious fires or crashes soon. Too many people up there in any sort of enforcement role are being paid off, blackmailed, or otherwise coerced into covering for them. The APD is the worst offender, apparently. So, any "accidents" will never be fully investigated, as we have all seen in the past.

Mr. Gryphen, perhaps a list of all the negative events related to the Palin clan would help the media make sense of her declaration not to screw with them. I believe that nobody besides the blog followers really GETS what a danger she and her family are. Clearly, this isn't the first fight Bristol has been in. And she learned that it was OK to hit someone. Track, too. A bunch of bullies. And it's Mr. Thompson that's putting himself in danger because he's apparently sick and tired of them.

I wish him luck. He's going to need it. If there is more information about the Palins, it needs to start trickling out now, because if you or anyone else waits too long, people will lose interest. This is America, after all. Short attention span. Catch them running. You better believe they aren't happy, but the Palins think they can outrun this story. Maybe so. But what about the far more damaging things out there we all suspect? Those are the things that will stop this family of misanthropes.

Why do people think the police have to have someone press charges? That is crap. The police have the authority to handle that like any legit police force would do.

And no they were not confused. They were acting like dopes because their agenda was to manipulate any evidence. They preferred not evidence so they made no arrests.

Fact is they could have, should have arrest all the brawlers and checked for drugs in the Hummer and elsewhere and arrested others.

They didn't want the evidence and they were not protecting anyone from violence or potential violence.

I have a lot of friends in the construction business in Alaska, and have decided to use the donated money to investigate and uncover how the Palin house and luxury cabin were built when Sarah was Mayor.

It is obvious to anyone that has eyes, many of the items in the house match identically to what was used on the sports arena. The glass stairway is just one example.

It is also obvious that the income of Todd and Sarah, at the time, was not high enough to afford these homes.

The home and cabin were not built by Todd and his buddies. I intend to find the real facts of how they came to be.

I've long believed this is the secret to the Palin's ability to control people; that when she was in office, (and probably still), they gathered incriminating or embarrassing information on people, enough to blackmail their silence and 'obedience'.. Even the police seem to be under their thumb. One of the obvious early ones was the poor doctor who got roped into the pregnancy deception and has since disappeared from view.

I find it impossible to believe the whole gang wasn't jacked up on some heavy drugs and instigated to fight before they left the Hummer.

They are cowards and wimps and need chemicals (speed) and a coach to make them think they are tough.

Why would Bristol be attacking a guy like Korey? She was nuts and drugged.

There is no way the atmosphere in the Hummer was a mellow gang going out to celebrate. It was a gang of white violence 'culture' looking for fights.

Here it is over a week later and no one says much about Tripp's presence at the bloody brawl.

The APD and the prosecutors office is going to cover that all up?

I hope people will come out and speak to the press about Tripp being there. The media must start asking questions and stop covering up for the Palins in anyway.

If you knew the child at the brawl and sincerely cared for them, how would you want the police and the media to act? You would be fine with a cover up for a druggy mother in a violent episode?

    2. Interesting, that Eric Thompson's account in this video about Track and his three buddies contradicts in direct proportion the account from the anonymous source "close to the Palins" who said Track was attacked by Connor (Conner?) Cleary and three of HIS buddies.

From Scott Conroy's RCP article: "Track Palin soon found himself struggling to fend off four men who had 'piled on him,' according to the source."

Oh I think that proportionality was to sidetrack the accounts that said 4 guys in a brawl. If the Palins could try to anonymously, unsourced, say that the pals were Connor's, that would dilute the accounts that said they were Track's buddies. In Devon's account, she said that the Palins brought Track and one or more buddies in the limosine. Find out who they were, and the Palin's anonymously red herrings won't work at all. If they were Connor's buddies, why would he go stand with his Mom and Dad, and the Thompsons after he was attacked? Why wouldn't his buddies be with him? Because, the "buddies" were with Track......IMO

Very effective interview, and it really provides a look at Eric Thompson as a kind and rational man.

Good for him that he had the courage to just tell the truth of what he saw.

If people like the Palins keep getting away with assault and disrupting the peace at parties now, and no one speaks out, what could they get away with later?

What if, hypothetically, they were caught harming a child, and a witness went forward and police didn't make any arrest; if the witness knew he'd lose his job or his family was at risk, he'd be inclined not to speak out, for fear.

This is what people like the Palins do. They've gotten away with it for so long.

      The 20ish that were brawling.

The 70 to 100 at party. Those who witnessed and those that were on the sidelines. The band that was playing may not have seen what was happening but their photographers and video must have a lot of evidence on the party. How it was before, during and after.

If this happened in my town, the police would have had multi press releases and talked with the media. People here would be contacting and asking questions to the police like mad. And the prosecutor would make public statements.

Aren't any of you guys paying attention, can't you add, if he is 21 now, how was he in Iraq five years ago???)

I don't believe, for one second, that whole Britta marriage-divorce, Kyla baby story. Is Track even capable of a "relationship?" IDK, he clearly has lots of problems.

Was Britta EVER really his girlfriend?

    Were they ever really married?

Did they have a child together or is that little girl actually the daughter of Bristol or Willow?

Why was Track sent away when he was in high school?
(I am sure he didn't leave icy Alaska to play hockey in Michigan-- haha!)

Why was Track "enlisted" in the military and what did he actually do while in uniform? Where was he stationed--really...?
How often did he get "furloughs?" (Don't know if they still use that term... ) Why wasn't he there when his mother, the "governor" welcomed his unit back home???

Of course, the Palins are leaking that ex-bf attacked someone in the Hummer (Tripp was sleeping?). Do you think they lied to the police with that version? Wouldn't that be another crime to charge the Palins?

There must be over 25-50 more criminal charges against the Palins if half of what we are hearing is true.

What would Sarah Palin do or want the media to do? If she means what she's been saying for years, than this compelling ADN interview with Eric Thompson is exactly what Palin ordered.

"In many voters’ book, including mine, character counts. [...] It’s gonna be refreshing when facts come out on this so that people can make up their minds, make their own judgment on this..."
    ~Sarah Palin, Dec. 1, 2011, Hannity interview

"No question should be censored, should be banned. No topic should be off the table. Let’s talk about it now. Let’s vet it. Let’s get it out there. Let’s have some answers."
~Sarah Palin, Jan. 15, 2012, Jeanine Pirro interview

“I think the bottom line that is so frustrating to Americans is we were deceived. We were led in a season of electioning [sic] and campaigning -- led to believe something that was other than true. Americans were lied to. […] What else does he [or Sarah Palin] say and do that would be deceptive? I believe it's many, many things that he [or Sarah Palin] would say and do being deceptive.”
~Sarah Palin, Dec. 19, 2012, Greta Van Susteren interview

"Someone in the media must demand answers. Until the media does its job to give us the Who What Where When and Why of this cover-up, there will be even less trust for this cornerstone of our democracy."

      www.nytimes.com/2008/09/12/us/12hockeymom.html

New York Times September 12, 2008:

"Parents with especially talented skaters or with enough money or both often do what the Palins eventually did with Track Palin: Write a check and send him to hockey development programs out of state. Housed with teammates, the boys go to local high schools and play on sponsored teams intended to attract attention from college recruiters.

In 2006, the year Ms. Palin was elected governor, Steve Lowe snatched up Track Palin for a slot on the developmental AAA team he coaches in Kalamazoo, Mich. Mr. Lowe liked that Mr. Palin, a forward, was extremely focused and aggressive on the ice. If he could manage his temper a little and improve his shooting, it was clear that Mr. Palin could have secured a college scholarship and maybe a chance at the pros, he said.

The temper was a longstanding problem. Hockey is a raw sport, but Mr. Palin pushed the limits and often got kicked out of games in Wasilla and at least once in Michigan. The parents who had watched him grow up on the ice said he was popular with his teammates and generally a pretty good student. But on the ice, he was an animal.

Curt Menard, a longtime family friend, said he would often sit next to Ms. Palin’s parents to watch their grandson play. If Mr. Menard arrived after the game started, he said, he would ask if he was too late to catch him.

“Track has a temper so sometimes you’d only see him half the game,” Mr. Menard said. “Get there late and he’d already be out.”

Whatever his behavior on the ice, Mr. Palin’s parents did not meddle, Mr. Lowe said."

Again, man up Alaska law 'enforcement', courts and judges! I mean, WTF is with these so-called bravado Alaskan 'men'. As 'professionals', they are a joke.

  72. While I am very angry that someone was fired for describing crimes he witnessed to the news media due to my own experiences and I am proud that he had the courage to speak up I have a bit of a different perspective on this. He is actually very fortunate because when these actions are taken against people in Alaska and they try to tell their story they are not believed by anyone. At least he is believed, at least he is getting support. This happens to people for retaliation all the time in Alaska, but they are left on their own with others thinking they have done something wrong. This is why the psychopaths and other wrongdoers are in control people are afraid to speak up. What I have found is once they have hurt you it's so much more easy to speak up and never stop. They even have false rumors spread and people in this state automatically believe them, then they jump on the person and begin to bully them as well.

WHEN WILL THE MEDIA ASK ABOUT TRIPP JOHNSTON AND THE POLICE CONDUCT?

What does the public want to know and when can their questions be answered. Why the obstructions in Alaska?

Today, on the Sarah Palin Channel, a new video was posted regarding "The Second Amendment"; Sarah showed-off the back of a tee-shirt that son Track was wearing. It celebrated that particular amendment (we didn't see his face - wonder why?). Was she sending a message - suggesting Second Amendment remedies could come to those that might exercise First Amendment freedoms?

    SPYWITNESS: PALIN BRAWL CONFIDENTIAL

Blow by blow backstory of the big brouhaha! Boozy SARAH PALIN and her rambunctious clan get baked -- Alaskan-style!

Move over “Beverly Hillbillies” – here come the hard-partying, punch-throwing Palins!

With the battle cry “Don’t you know who I am!” former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin turned into a pit bull as her clan was involved in a wild brawl outside an Anchorage home, eyewitnesses tell The National ENQUIRER.

The alcohol-fueled melee embroiled 20 people and is believed to have been sparked by the former Alaska governor’s allegedly drunken son Track, 25, said a source.

One victim, Connor Cleary, 26, told The ENQUIRER it was a peaceful party until the reality show family showed up!

Connor said he was approaching the Palins’ stretch-limo Hummer when Track began getting in his face. “He (Track) kept trying to pick a fight with me and then when it all came down – it happened,” Connor said, in an exclusive interview.

“He kept saying, ‘Oh what, are you trying to get into the ----ing limo?’ and he kept cursing at me and walking towards me,” claimed Connor.

Track allegedly threw two jabs at Connor, according to an online report – and that’s when all hell broke loose outside the residence of 39-year-old Korey Klingenmeyer, host of the Sept. 6 bash.

Alarmed, someone screamed, “This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!” according to an eyewitness.

Despite several minor injuries, cops didn’t make any arrests because no one wanted to press charges, police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro told The ENQUIRER. “They (the Palins) among many other people were involved in the disturbance,” she disclosed, adding, “Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident.”

Jennifer didn’t want to describe how Sarah was involved but noted that drunken arguments sparked the fight. An Anchorage blogger, who spoke to witnesses, laid the blame squarely on Track, who was apparently going after his sister Willow’s ex-boyfriend.

The fracas also involved “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Bristol, 23, claims the blogger, Amanda Coyne, who said “Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly.

“As people were leaving in a cab, Track was seen on the street shirtless, flipping people off, with Sarah right behind him, and her husband Todd somewhere in the foreground, tending to a bloody nose,” adds the report.

    Dear Anchorage residents,
Your city council meetings allow attendees to make comments and ask questions that aren't otherwise on the meeting agenda. Someone may want to ask about the APD's apparent, consistent cover-ups for the Palin family.

  79. Now that he's fired and unemployed, he has nothing to lose and can speak up as much as he wants. And there seems to be plenty of media willing to listen. Especially since it's costing them nothing.

I love how the use the term 'Palin Brawl' in the headline. No need to mince words.

  82. I'm sure par t of Bristol's strategy is that when she punches a guy, he won't punch her back.

Hope she eventually picks on the wrong guy and gets seriously decked, as in having to go back to the plastic surgeon to fix that newly broken nose.

So I am pretty tried (along with everyone else here) about hearing about Track's military service. Exactly how long was he in service & what exactly did he do for a job? Since he is considered a veteran of a foreign war, does he get life time benefits including medical? (that would be a great deal) My dad was in the army for 20+years, I think he deserved medical for life & he did get it until the day he died.

That's so disgusting that the cops did nothing, you know if it was a house full of brown or black people, someone would have had their face shoved in the ground or shot on the spot!

I'm willing to bet that Mr. Thompson's fundraising cause will generate more revenue than Palin's so-called "Internet TV Channel." Her comeuppance has never been so richly deserved as it is now.
