I live in rural Ohio, in what I privately call "Trumpistan". People out here are ravenously prolife, and breed like rabbits. They have kids with names like "Micah", "Caleb", and "Jeremiah". I'm close enough to Cleveland, though, to have volunteered there several times with my brother for Hillary, and even attended a rally for her at Kent State University on October 31! I've suffered from crying jags (some at work) for three days straight since this awful turn of events, but I read a recent article- which I unfortunately cannot locate now, which states that couples with more that two kids are gonna take a hit on their taxes... boy are these fertile turtles in for a shock. And I'll say to them the statement I've got ready to say to my 'Know-It-All-But-Really-Knows-Nothing-Trump-Voting-Husband';

-"FEEL STUPID YET?"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-86702338393198335392016-11-10T18:46:02.299-09:002016-11-10T18:46:02.299-09:00@ Anonymous5:18 AM, "Third party voters helpe...@ Anonymous5:18 AM, "Third party voters helped put that degenerate in office"

No. I know that's the shit people like Rachael Maddow are shoveling, but if you look at the numbers, state by state, and compare Obama's turnout to Hillary's turnout, the Obama voters didn't turn out for Hillary Clinton. That's a fact. And those numbers far outweigh the tiny number of votes Jill Stein took away from Hillary, not to mention that Gary Johnson took away far more votes from Donald Trump than Stein took from Clinton. Hillary Clinton lost this election - no one took it away from her, and that's what the history books will say as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-88290864041780223972016-11-10T16:39:06.801-09:002016-11-10T16:39:06.801-09:00They're already walking that one back.

Chris Christie (R) said on NBC’s “Today” show Thursday morning, emphasizing that he and Trump have not spoken about the topic. He noted that Trump and his Democratic opponent had “an enormously gracious conversation with each other Tuesday night.”

“The people get to speak through their vote, and they voted for Donald Trump to be president of the United States,” added Christie, who is leading Trump’s White House transition efforts. “It is now his job ― and I am confident he will ― to bring the country together.”

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) told CNN Thursday that the question of whether to go after Clinton was “a tough one that should be given a lot of thought and shouldn’t be an off-the-cuff answer.”

“I think that somebody should review that very carefully, as to how bad is that evidence,” said Giuliani, who is reportedly under consideration to be Trump’s attorney general. “If it isn’t as bad as some of the exaggerators think it is, then maybe the best thing to do is forget about it and move on. If it is really bad, then somebody’s got to look at it who is independent.”

"Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway also refused to say the day after the election whether Trump will actually go after Clinton when he takes office.

“Lock her up” has been a popular chat at nearly every Trump rally, with many of his supporters wearing “Hillary for Prison” shirts. And some of his supporters earnestly seem to think that a President Trump will literally lock her up.

“He promised to. She’s a crook and a liar,” James McDaniels, 27, a Trump voter in Michigan, told The Washington Post.

The Trump team has also been walking back some of his other big, popular promises. Giuliani said Trump will first tackle tax reform and that building a giant wall on the border with Mexico will “take awhile.” The promise to enact a ban on Muslims from entering the United States has also now disappeared from his website."mlaiuppahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13792165896828163411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-82946895575805861092016-11-10T16:34:53.499-09:002016-11-10T16:34:53.499-09:00Kinda a step down from a President who was a B-mov...Kinda a step down from a President who was a B-movie actor.

President Bedtime for Bonzo has given way to President Fuckface Von Clownschtick. mlaiuppahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13792165896828163411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-40885010743082503102016-11-10T16:32:56.563-09:002016-11-10T16:32:56.563-09:00Grover Norquist. But even as flawed of a candidate that she was, she still could have won the election hands down if she had at least picked a Liberal running mate instead of another centrist corporate Democrat like herself. Does anyone honestly believe that we would have a President-elect Trump today if Hillary Clinton picked Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, or even Bernie Sanders, as her sunning mate? So why didn’t she? Because Hillary Clinton’s core values do not align with those people. She is not a Liberal, and calling her a Liberal doesn’t make it so.

Hillary Clinton lost the election because she just didn't excite her base. Period. As candidate Obama said about Hillary eight years ago, “She’ll say anything (to get elected), and do nothing.” And her base wasn't just Bernie Bros – it’s the whole Democratic base. But instead of trying to give her base something other than empty promises that no one believed (look at her record; look at what she’s said in the past), she was courting centrist Republicans the last several months instead of her courting her base. Securing your base during an election is Campaign 101, but her campaign thought they could just turn their backs on the base, and win with "Vote for me, because you don’t want him (Trump) in the White House. I guess that wasn’t enough to get the base out.

Everyone is pointing fingers everywhere but where they belong. Let me say again: even as flawed of a candidate that Hillary Clinton was, does anyone honestly believe that we would have a President-elect Trump today if Hillary Clinton picked Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, or even Bernie Sanders, as her sunning mate? So whose fault is that? The Russians’? Wickieleaks’? James Comey’s? The Republicans’? The media’s? The stupid voters’? Or Hillary Clinton’s?

One more thought. Does anyone think that Bernie Sanders could have turned out the base, excited people to vote, and have beaten Donald Trump?

P.S. Trump is going to erase 8 years of the Obama Presidency. Is all she had to do was pick a Liberal running mate. Thanks a lot, Hillary.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-59364352060014698482016-11-10T10:00:11.476-09:002016-11-10T10:00:11.476-09:00Why did your Lord let/make Trump win?
