Without this doctor, I wouldn't have the great son I have. So I won't change doctors. I tease him about the election, he teases me back. But. He's very serious about believing this stuff. And his one vote only counts for one vote, and I make sure my son and I counter his vote with ours.Otto Katznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-88858080906200792312012-11-09T06:00:06.761-09:002012-11-09T06:00:06.761-09:00Is he a good doctor? That we've now become a socialistic country because everyone wants the government to give them stuff. That everyone wants a handout. That people are greedy and no one wants to work and they think the government is just going to give them everything. That when his house on the shore was damaged, he's going to pay for the repairs out of his pocket, he doesn't expect the insurance, or the government, to pay for it, it's his, and he's going to pay for it, no one else. He doesn't want social security, he doesn't to pay into it, but when he retires, he's going to get every damned dime. And he says he's going to divorce his wife, because even though in the eyes of his church he'll still be married, so no bad there, he and his wife will be able to collect the full amount of social security (wtf does this even mean??) so he won't be cheated out of any of it he paid into it. And this guy is a doctor. It's la la land I tell you!

They really believe this stuff!Otto Katznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-31396533280179909962012-11-09T01:37:36.380-09:002012-11-09T01:37:36.380-09:00TYPO ALERT!

Nate's work and that of his colleague Sam Wang at Princeton Election Consortium helped keep me centered during all of the fake hype and "Shuck and Jive" propaganda that were rolled out as talking points to by the entire Repug Echo Chamber, purporting Romney surges---"RoMentum"--- and Obama gaffes and problems with the electorate, whereby R&R purportedly having a high probability for a decisive win, possibly by landslide margins. It was ALL a crock of shit, and statistically, Mitt never got higher than a 3:2 underdog during his BEST polling moments of the campaign, and he was NEVER in the lead, other than in the fantasy BS narratives reported by RW talking heads that were derived from verifiable statistically biased data that was used as a tool to misinform the low-info voters.

Boney Boo BooGrungyGriftyGimphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06527599734718069898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-1390981200980435672012-11-08T23:17:08.375-09:002012-11-08T23:17:08.375-09:00That was perfect!
