If we want anything to get done in congress, we need more Ds in the House, not replacing one D for another. And while you can certainly bring up this or that vote where DWS voted more the R side, her overall record has been overwhelmingly D party line.

I also am concerned that he moved here in (apparently) 2012 and did not run for city council or state senator or representative (God knows the FL legislature could use a guy like him!) before leaping into a U.S. house run.

What I see from my point of view is a guy moving from California, who doesn't know Florida or South Florida, and moves into literally my town, not to participate in the betterment of his local community but to 'pick off' my U.S. representative, and that doesn't sit well with me, despite any criticisms you - or I - might have about that representative.MarvinMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15570994210031804975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9361564.post-75070942248971072872016-05-22T20:53:20.105-08:002016-05-22T20:53:20.105-08:00Bill Moyers always knows what time it is:

I mean, aside from her shady manipulations of the system to game it for her best bud, Hillary?

Debbie Wasserman Schultz has worked to protect the pay day loan companies. That is in complete opposition to both Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. She worked to weaken and block legislation that would curtail their stranglehold on low income citizens.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz also brought in a lot of big money 1%ers into the Democratic primary process. In other words. she's trying to make the Democrats into Republicans when it comes to money in politics. Something else that both Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are against.

But Hillary is for.

So big money, lobbyists, blocking legislation that would help the little people to protect the big money elites.

She has no business being in charge of the DNC unless the Democrats want to change from being the party of the working class to being the party of the 1%ers. In other words making there essentially no difference between voting Republican and voting Democrat except maybe on abortion.

You don't show your love for something but defending it no matter what. You show your love by protecting it, ensuring it remembers and maintains it's roots and if it strays, you point out the problems and work to fix them. If that is the case, Bernie is trying to get the party back on track and Schultz and Clinton are trying to turn it into Republican Lite. I think Bernie proves that every day. Instead of running his campaign as he did in the beginning, he is now turning his attacks against DWS as if she is the reason he has not won the nomination. He started a great movement but it has devolved into a childish pout against a "rigged" primary season. Funny how he never complains about the vote being rigged in the states he wins. We all know that there are real problems with the primary elections. Hopefully, the Bernie supporters will work hard within the party to make changes before the next election.

But they won't.
