A retired Alabama police officer said she and her colleagues were told decades ago to “make sure” Roy Moore “didn’t hang around” high school cheerleaders, and confirmed previous reports that the Republican Senate candidate was banned at the time from a local mall for predatory behavior toward teenage girls.
“The rumor mill was that he liked young girls, and ... we were advised that he was being suspended from the mall because he would hang around the young girls that worked in the stores and ... really got into a place of where they say he was harassing,” former Gadsden police officer Faye Gary told MSNBC on Tuesday.
“We were also told to watch him at the ball games, and make sure that ... he didn’t hang around the cheerleaders,” she said.
I swear every day this Roy Moore story just gets creepier and creepier.
But hey, according to Donald Trump allowing this pervert into the Senate is still better than letting some Democrat in who demonstrated how soft he was on crime by prosecuting members of the KKK.
What does it take for the GOP to throw away its claim for "family values"? Answer: a chance for a tax reform vote.

Teen Vogue columnist and feminist Emily Lindin posted a series of tweets Tuesday night about false sexual harassment and assault allegations against men. Her hot take: she’s fine with it. “I’m actually not at all concerned about innocent men losing their jobs over false sexual assault/harassment allegations,” Lindin said at the beginning of a string of comments. Her Twitter profile has gone private since then, as the response hasn’t exactly been kind...
ReplyDelete...“The benefit of all of us getting to finally tell the truth + the impact on victims FAR outweigh the loss of any one man’s reputation,” she said, adding, “If some innocent men’s reputations have to take a hit in the process of undoing the patriarchy, that is a price I am absolutely willing to pay.”

You are wrong Emily Lindin
...Are you aware that the divorce industry has caption a phrase called “The Silver Bullet” to describe a growing phenomenon where false accusations are the core strategy used because they are so effective.
In fact Elaine Epstein, from your own home state and former president of the Massachusetts bar association has this to say: “Everyone knows that restraining orders and orders to vacate are granted to virtually all who apply…In many cases, allegations of abuse are now used for tactical advantage.”
I guess that’s everyone but you Emily? You think you are more qualified to speak on the subject than Ms. Epstein as an attorney with decades of experience and president of the BAR?
I didn’t think so.
Emily, nearly half the men I know that are over 35 have been falsely accused at some time in there lives. That’s just my personal circle. Let’s go to a larger base sampling shall we?

Same thing Bill Maher said.
DeleteIt has to do with being able to tell the difference between what Franken did and what Weinstein, Moore, Rose and TRUMP did.
But it takes critical thinking and a certain mental ability that Republicans lack to differentiate between the two.
My simple response for those that are lacking and call for Franken to resign is: TRUMP FIRST!

Yep. Some sort of violation of political electioneering on the White House grounds or something.
