In November 2008 e-mail Ted Nugent explains that Palin lost the election because she was "TOO American, and TOO good." No, I am NOT kidding!

After the excitement of Game Change started to taper off I decided to take another look at those Palin e-mails.  I immediately stumbled onto this one:

Subject: NUGENT FAMILY

A glowing all American Spirit of the Last Frontier SALUTE to the great AK Governor Sarah Palin & family. We the productive people of goodwill and decency of America stand with Sarah & everything she stands for. She did one hell of a fine job day in & day out throughout the campaign & represented the best Americans perfectly. She lost because she is too American & too good. STAND! Be proud. We are.

Godbless & Godspeed, carryon, AK BloodBrothers, Ted Nugent & family

Wow, leave it up to one of this country's premiere political pundits (As evidenced by his NUMEROUS appearances on Fox News programs to provide political analysis) to immediately determine that the ONLY reason that Sarah Palin and John McCain are not, right now, sitting in the Oval Office blaming each other for starting World War 3, is that Sarah Palin was TOO American to be elected Vice President, in America.

Brilliant.

It certainly had NOTHING to do with the fact that she has the mental acuity of rutabaga, or that she is a divisive, nasty, mean spirited phony, who fanned the fires of racism and hatred in this country in order to, not only defeat, but destroy the reputation of the first African American to EVER get the Democratic nomination.

No clearly the problem was that she was just too damn American to be elected in a country that was determined to elect a secret socialist Muslim, who liked to "pal around" with domestic terrorists. Right?

And how could ANYBODY doubt the carefully weighed analysis of a man who so succinctly expressed his opinions of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton onstage in 2007.

You know, and this may be true for all of you as well, the more I learn about the 2008 election, and Sarah Palin, and her supporters, and what the Republican party has become these days, the more inspired I am to send money to President Obama's reelection campaign in order to make sure that NONE of them, or their ilk, ever get anywhere near the White House.

I used to think there was nothing worse for this country than George W. Bush, and the neocons that supported him.  I was wrong.

As a freelancer, I was short on income, but I donated $5/wk to the 2008 campaign for Obama. I was inspired by college students who did same, by giving up one lunch or a couple of lattes each week. I used my credit card. The beautiful karma I experienced was more jobs started coming in, and I actually got out of debt. 2008 turned out to be a great year for me. If one million people did this each week= we can raise 20 million per month. It was the first time in my 60 yrs that I have ever donated to a political campaign. I realized I had to for the sake of my children and grandchildren. I was investing in their future. Since then, I have been donating to candidates, such as Senator Bennett in CO, Alan Grayson in FL... Try it! It's easy! And it feels good! (especially when you feel like slapping a Repub.) All of us have a few bucks we can part with each week!

Started in '08, too, and I continue to give small amounts to politicians who are standing up for the people. If everyone did, as you say, Democrats could build up big war chests to oppose the nasty right wing.

Santorum: Speak English, thank-the-Lord-you were-raped Republican, whose wife lived with and worked with an abortion doctor. Santorum who fleeced more than $100,000 from a Penn. school district to home school his children.
Santorum who lost by nearly double digits when running for re-election in his own state.

Romney: what was it I said yesterday? In 2002? In 1994? Well, I agree with it all! Here, Seamus, come here good boy! Seamus! Up, boy, up on the car!
Serve in Vietnam? I was too busy.
Gingrich: Yes, I was censured for corruption and resigned from the House of Representatives, then moved to K Street to make millions and buy diamonds for my third wife. But the Lord has forgiven me -- so vote for Gingrich!

We do the same thing in our family. At the end of the day, we empty our change into a jar, and once a month or so, I take the money to my local credit union, then do our family donation. Every little bit adds up.

Even if we can't afford to send money, we can make phone calls, knock on doors, and volunteer. It's the best feeling in the world.

Nugent attended his physical for the Viet Nam draft, wearing pants that he had urinated and defecated in for at least a week. Fine example of "true blue American" wouldn't you say? COWARD, speaking loudly now, just like Limbaugh and Gingrich the other draft dodgers. I can understand why he is a fan of air head $carah. Oh, and Romney also, too.Romney said he will increase the armed services by 100,00 when he gets into office. Want to bet his 5 sons will not be included in that number?

Who makes up a story about shitting his pants to dodge the draft? Apparently Ted Nugent. Made up for an interview with High Times in 1977. Because shitting and pissing your pants is so much more heroic than a few student deferments.

Just like many Republican chickenhawks (little Dick Cheney, KKKarl Rove) Nugent had multiple student deferments.

Hate to tll him, but 100,000 troops will be a pittance of what Mitt will need when the GOP starts wars all over the Muslim world for no reason other than their blessed oil. As Goerge Clooney explained last night on Ed, China can stop the bloodshed in Sudan with diplomacy...they have billions invested there to get the oil out, and can absolutely end the violence against the farmers. And we could be helping them, if the GOP were not so blind and hungry for more battles.

Here are Ted Nugent's "All-American" values:

He's 63 years old -- was the perfect age to serve in the military during the Vietnam War, but "took elaborate steps" to avoid the draft and military service.

In addition, here are his "American" family values.
We aren't the ones calling him "sleazy." Read that last paragraph and then wonder how he dares to say anything pubicly!

    Family

He has had two wives and has eight children, including three out of wedlock in two liaisons almost 30 years apart. In the late 1960s, prior to his first marriage, Nugent fathered a boy, Ted (Mann) and a girl, whom he gave up for adoption in infancy. This did not become public knowledge until 2010. The siblings were adopted separately and had no contact with one another. The son learned the identity of his birth father in 2010 through the daughter's quest to make contact with him and their birth parents. According to a news report, Nugent over the years had discussed the existence of these children with his other children.[24]

In 2005 Nugent was involved in a legal battle for not paying enough child support for a child he had out of wedlock in 1995.[25] It was finally resolved when Nugent was ordered to pay $3,500 in child support.[26]

1978, Nugent began a relationship with seventeen-year-old Hawaii native Pele Massa. Due to the age difference they could not marry so Nugent joined Massa's parents in signing documents to make himself her legal guardian, an arrangement that Spin magazine ranked in October 2000 as #63 on their list of the "100 Sleaziest Moments in Rock".[27][28]

Makes a good point. Palin was busy every moment of every day during the 2 mos campaign period. There's plenty of evidence to peruse.

I do think it's interesting that a scene from the book was left out. Just before Palin went to Sedona to hunker down with debate prep, McCain is described as walking into a dark, feklempt (sp) hotel room with several aides prepping Palin. The atmosphere weirded him out enough to say "no one can prep in these conditions." It was THEN that everyone went to airy Arizona.

What I remember about the the O'Biden/Palin "debate": Sarah learned to pivot; Sarah threw more than a few cutesy-flirty winks out to any fool who would think it was meant for him; Sarah blew kisses to somebody but I can't remember who; Sarah didn't answer the questions that were asked, she announced that she would answer what she wanted (because she's too fucking stupid to answer debate questions).

But then-VP candidate Joe O'Biden did a heckuva job both in answering questions and with putting up with a moron like Sarah.

Whatever does "feklempt" mean? I may have been in a feklempted room or I may have been feklempted at some time in my life and I don't even know it.

This reminds me of "Game Change" where the crooked John McCain told Sarah Barracuda at the end to basically shut her mouth or she would be part of destroying the republican party by palling around with such wacko's as Limbaugh and the Tea Party. Just for wanting to expose a regime's problematic policies.

Typical liberal who refuses to see things clearly.

By ignorantly diagnosing someone as mentally ill, you insult those who are mentally ill currently seeking help and who have hopes of being integrated back into society. They are not bad people. There is no black and white in this world, even in the legal system. If there were, penalties wouldn't be so subjectively handed out by law enforcement.

No, she is called those things because she IS those things. See, it's one thing to point out facts, it's another to ignore the facts and replace them with snarky, hate and fear-rousing bumpersticker slogans like "he wants to take us back to the days before the Civil War".

$arah had PROVEN herself time and again to be a narcissistic know-nothing. Idiots like you can pretend all you want that she's smart and dealing in "truths", but unfortunately the facts are against you.

This has nothing at all to do with "defending" Obama. (only a moron and/or a Palin bot continually acts as though there is some kind of equivalency between palin and our President) Just because I point and laugh at a right wing idiot, doesn't automatically mean I voted for Obama. Many, many on the right are disgusted and mocking her as well.

Now this draft dodger, womanizer, racist, narrow-minded, uneducated, asshat thinks he knows what's best for this country. Once someone is a young adult of voting age, they deserve the respect involved with making their own choice. Political discussions in the family are great to evaluate ideas. I'm pretty sure my 20-something children voted differently than I did in the last election and sometimes my spouse and I vote differently. But, hey, we're all adults.

Courtney Love phoned into The Howard Stern Show on Monday (March 22) before eventually coming into the studio where she made the shocking allegation that one of the first times she had oral sex was with Ted Nugent. She said she was young and she didn’t want to say exactly how old she was, but eventually confessed she was 12-year-old – which would have made Nugent approximately 28 years old at the time. The New York Post attempted to contact Nugent for a response but was unsuccessful. Moderators at Nugent’s official forum deleted the only thread asking about the topic as evidenced by the forum’s search giving a file not found error for the matched thread. She added it was a long time ago and she didn’t even have breasts yet."

Before receiving Boys Will Be Boys my expectations were about getting the 'gossip' surrounding the Palins, but instead Ms. Tripp's life story became the 'street side' of Game Change.

It is obvious her words ring true and it's almost painful to read such hurt that lifts off her pages as she shares her tumultuous journey.

This Book goes beyond the gross activities of Todd Palin and into the big picture of our Society and how it treats the women who are most vulnerable to the big Business of prostitution. Shailey is bringing her story to the forefront to help anyone who feels that prostitution is their only option.

Why a high priced Madam is front page news and not Shailey Tripp's story is what's so sad about today's priorities.

Besides a compelling and well written book, Shailey begins each chapter with an eloquent poem.

Thank you Shailey Tripp for your bravery ... if you touch just one life to make a difference then you have done more than many of us do in a lifetime.
