Perfect!

If women ever need an example of what they can do in this life they have no further to look than Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

One of the reasons behind choosing Sarah Palin to run as VP was to pick up the women who were supposed to vote for Hillary. Women saw right through Palin, remembering the mean girl from high school. It was also quite a contrast. Hillary was smart and Palin wasn't.

    1. Very true. In addition, Hillary had decades of experience in and with national politics, Palin didn't. Hillary was highly educated, Palin wasn't. Hillary could work with a team (US Senate), one among equals, Palin couldn't. Hillary was and is a hard worker, Palin isn't.

  3. Just for grins, let's compare Hillary Clinton's resume to Sarah Palin's resume. Now ask yourself,
which one of these women is the "learned" or a "learner"?

    EXCELLENT interview with President Obama:

    Barack Obama is Not Pleased

The president on his enemies, the media, and the future of football

...I believe that what I talked about in 2008 is still where the country is. And it describes my real-world view of how politics should work. I've always been suspicious of absolutism. I've always been suspicious of ideological litmus tests. I'm not somebody—when I look back on American history—who believes that one party has got a monopoly on wisdom.

So I guess the issue is not that the concept in 2008 was wrong. I think the issue is that we have these institutional barriers that prevent what the American people want from happening. Some of them are internal to Congress, like the filibuster in the Senate. Some of them have to do with our media and what gets attention. Nobody gets on TV saying, "I agree with my colleague from the other party." People get on TV for calling each other names and saying the most outlandish things.

Bill Maher And Howard Dean Clash With GOP Panelists Over Obama’s Inaugural, ‘Crazy Crap On The Right Wing’

... Maher used this as a jumping-off point to bring the conversation to how big a deal the Republicans have made about the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi last September. Maher said that the GOP is going down the rabbit hole when no one actually cares about the scandal.

Maher found it remarkable that Republican senators were actually “screaming” at Hillary Clinton during her testimony earlier this week. Soltis pointed out that it was no better than Democrats fawning over Clinton. Maher continued on the “crazy crap” train with a clip of Senator Rand Paul going after Clinton on something Maher said he clearly based on “horseshit” he heard on TV, which explains Clinton’s bewildered reaction to his question.

Maher marveled at how Republicans appear to be making a bigger deal over Benghazi than over 9/11. Amidst some talk about crazy conspiracies over the Sandy Hook shooting, Avella and Dean squared off over which political party has more insane conspiracists. Dean said the GOP is blatantly trying to “undermine democracy” by changing election laws in order to help them win in the future, and said the country should be talking about issues beyond the simple social differences on abortion and guns.

That's just so odd! They call us Left Wingers, but they take offense at being called Right Wing? And I love how Bill smacked down their talking point about jobs not being created. Completely blew it right out of the water...this bullshit about 'net' jobs is dishonest as hell.

I always knew that Chuckie was a dick, but now it's clear he's a GOP dick. Cheating, rigging and underhandedness are the hallmarks of these assholes. Robbing people's right to vote is abominable.

Chuck Todd disgusts me. He's a hack. He lubes up the Right every chance he gets while posing as a 'non partisan' player. He's disingenous at best and a raging asshole, for sure. He does not belong in mainstream media reporting, and CERTAINLY not covering the White House.

Hillary Clinton, President Obama All Smiles In Joint Interview

..."It has been a great collaboration over the last four years. I'm going to miss her," Obama said in a televised excerpt from the CBS "60 Minutes" program that will air on Sunday.

The interview, conducted at the White House on Friday, comes as Clinton prepares to step down and the Senate confirmation process moves forward for Senator John Kerry, Obama's pick to replace her.

"A few years ago it would have been seen as improbable (to have a joint interview) because we had that very long, hard primary campaign," Clinton said in the excerpt.

"And then President Obama asked me to be secretary of state and I said yes. And why did he ask me and why did I say yes? Because we both love our country."

It's like a sick epidemic that is being expanded on daily, with more people dying, being injured, and the NRA just keeps marching on with their death warrants in hand. Now they are indocrinating kids to think it's 'cool' and 'neat' to get involved with guns. Gut wrenching.

Paul Krugman took on the argument that America is becoming a nation of takers.

"Right-wing intellectuals and politicians live in a bubble in which denunciations of those bums on disability and those greedy children getting free health care are greeted with shouts of approval — but now have to deal with a country where the same remarks come across as greedy and heartless (because they are)," he wrote in a blog post on Sunday.
