David Chappelle IS Nostradamus.

Okay you have to admit, that is one bizarre coincidence.

(For those who don't know who David Chappelle is.)

And President Obama will be blamed for not destroying the meteor or asteroid or whatever that streaked past the planet yesterday. Why not?

I read that one Russian politician claimed that the meteor was really an American WMD. He must be in the same politician class as Sen. Imhofe from Oklahoma!

Yes, because we know God cannot be happy that someone with the same skin color as Jesus is President of what was once a great country. If God is indeed angry with us, I'd say it's because the GOP has devolved into a bunch of termites intent on eating away at the rights of women and anyone not white and pristine and 'like us.' You know those termites stick together, or do they eat their own? Viva the Asteroid! I was sorry about the injuries, but the pictures are cool.

Just to clarify for Sarah, in case she is reading ths: the asteroid did miss the earth (if only by a small margin. It was the meteor that exploded over Russia n estimated distance of 18 to 22 miles above the earth.

Did anyone else see Bill Nye (the Science Guy) last night on The Last Word? He did an excellent job of explaining things and discussing what an organization he helped found is doing to preventing future calamities. I loved his opening few sentences where he stated " . . . Science, one of the best ideas of man" or something very similar.

Why are so many in the GOP anti-science? Could it be their indoctrination in churches led by intellectually-challenged, fearful people eager to grab power over the gullible? Just wondering.

  3. I love Dave Chappelle!! His comedy is sooo edgy. He says stuff nobody wants to say. Sometimes it's crude, but the social/political aspects are spot on!!

I just read the wiki link about him. Unfortunately I had believed the rumors that he had some kind of drug induced psychotic break when he left his very popular show. Seems he was following his own good conscience! He's has also found Islam and lives a peaceful life with his family in Ohio. Good for Dave Chappelle!!

Yep. He's a truth-teller that uses parody. Prickly and pointed, but only because we know he's telling it like it is. If you can't laugh st him, you're either the butt of his commentary or you just don't get it.

He's funny as hell, although I have to wince, because I see a lot of people--- just like those skewered in his skits--- at my family reunions. The more the older ones die off, the more moderate my kinfolk have become. By the time they begin actually leaning left on social issues, it will be time for a huge meteor to hit North America. Oh well.

Look up Chappelle's videos on YouTube.

He just slays the racist bigots. And does a great imitation of Sam L Jackson.
    Black Bush
    Clayton Bigsby, Black Whitr Supremist
    Samuel Jackson Beer Commercial

"The Niggar Family'" on the Funny or Die site is hilarious.

Sorry I can't post links on my iPhone here, but if u want to laugh your ass off, it's easy to find these vids.

Why is it that it takes the COMEDIANS to call out these things?

There's a lively conversation going on in the comment sections.

    On a more serious note:

I can't help thinking that we were pretty lucky that a meteorite explosion like this did NOT happen at the height of the Cuban missile crisis, or during the early 80s when Ronald Reagan was playing nuclear-weapons chicken with the geritocracy of the Kremlin.

bwaaahahaaa, chapelle is great. but you know, whenever something bad happens, it's ALWAYS the black president's fault. aliens could come and colonize the planet and it will be the fault of the black president.
