Trump's former doctor gets raided by Trump's former bodyguard. Feels "raped."

In February 2017, a top White House aide who was Trump's longtime personal bodyguard, along with the top lawyer at the Trump Organization and a third man, showed up at the office of Trump's New York doctor without notice and took all the president's medical records. 

The incident, which Dr. Harold Bornstein described as a "raid," took place two days after Bornstein told a newspaper that he had prescribed a hair growth medicine for the president for years. 

In an exclusive interview in his Park Avenue office, Bornstein told NBC News that he felt "raped, frightened and sad" when Keith Schiller and another "large man" came to his office to collect the president's records on the morning of Feb. 3, 2017. At the time, Schiller, who had long worked as Trump's bodyguard, was serving as director of Oval Office operations at the White House. 

"They must have been here for 25 or 30 minutes. It created a lot of chaos," Bornstein said, who described the incident as frightening.

According to Bornstein Trump cut ties with him after he blabbed to the press about Trump taking Propecia, which is a drug to prevent hair loss.

Too bad he wasn't on a medication to prevent asshole-itis.

According to Dr. Feelgood, the thugs made off with all of Trump's records, lab results, and charts.

Even the ones under his many aliases.

That's right, Trump even uses aliases when he visits his own doctor.

Apparently Bornstein also told the papers that he wanted to be the White House physician, but when Trump heard about it he had his long time assistant call to deliver the bad news:

"So you wanted to be the White House doctor? Forget it, you're out.' " 

Oh these people are ice cold. 

White House officials claim that chief of staff John Kelly presents himself as a savior and calls Trump an "idiot" behind his back.

White House chief of staff John Kelly has eroded morale in the West Wing in recent months with comments to aides that include insulting the president's intelligence and casting himself as the savior of the country, according to eight current and former White House officials. 

The officials said Kelly portrays himself to Trump administration aides as the lone bulwark against catastrophe, curbing the erratic urges of a president who has a questionable grasp on policy issues and the functions of government. He has referred to Trump as "an idiot" multiple times to underscore his point, according to four officials who say they've witnessed the comments.

Officials said Kelly's public image as a retired four-star general instilling discipline on a chaotic White House and an impulsive president belies what they describe as the undisciplined and indiscreet approach he's employed as chief of staff. The private manner aides describe may shed new light on why Kelly now finds himself — just nine months into the job — grappling with diminished influence and a drumbeat of questions about how long he'll remain at the White House. 

"He says stuff you can't believe," said one senior White House official. "He'll say it and you think, 'That is not what you should be saying.'"

Of course since this story broke earlier today Kelly has issued a statement pushing back on the allegations:  
“I am committed to our President, his agenda, and our country. This is another pathetic attempt to smear people close to President Trump and distract from the administration’s many successes.”

Yeah, okay.

This is not the first time that we have heard that there is tension between Trump and his chief of staff, and apparently Kelly has been greatly marginalized as of late.

And also according to NBC News Kelly's negative remarks about the president are not the only thing that puts his job in jeopardy:

Current and former White House officials said Kelly has at times made remarks that have rattled female staffers. Kelly has told aides multiple times that women are more emotional than men, including at least once in front of the president, four current and former officials said. 

And during a firestorm in February over accusations of domestic abuse against then-White House staff secretary Rob Porter, Kelly wondered aloud how much more Porter would have to endure before his honor could be restored, according to three officials who were present for the comments. He also questioned why Porter's ex-wives wouldn't just move on based on the information he said he had about his marriages, the officials said. 

Some current and former White House officials said they expect Kelly to leave by July, his one-year mark. But others say it's anyone's guess. What's clear is both Trump and Kelly seem to have tired of each other. 

Move over Rex Tillerson it looks like you are about to have a little company in the "We Just Got Shitcanned Hotel."

Disgraced VA Secretary nominee Ronny Jackson, will NOT be returning to his old job as White House physician.

White House physician Ronny Jackson will not return to his role as the president’s personal physician, according to two senior administration officials, after a string of allegations caused the Navy rear admiral to withdraw his nomination last week to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs. 

Sean Conley, a Navy officer who took over Jackson’s role as the president’s personal doctor last month, will continue in the role, the officials said. 

Jackson bowed out last week after Montana Sen. Jon Tester, the top Democrat on the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, released a document summarizing allegations by current and former colleagues that Jackson overprescribed pills, drank on the job and created a hostile work environment. Jackson has denied the allegations and has returned to work in the White House Medical Unit.

Now the White House claims that these accusations had no merit and Trump went after Senator Tester hard on Twitter.

Of course the question to ask is if these allegations are so unfounded, then why is Jackson not being reinstated as the White House doctor?

And that question should be followed up by one asking if there is no validity then why is Trey Gowdy suggesting an investigation by the House?

House Oversight Chairman Trey Gowdy on Sunday said some of the allegations against President Donald Trump’s ill-fated pick for secretary of Veterans Affairs should be investigated. 

Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” the South Carolina Republican said, “I think some of those allegations do warrant being investigated,” referring to a series of allegations levied against the White House physician and now-withdrawn VA secretary nominee, Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson.

Yeah, something still stinks about all of this.

Also keep in mind that Senator Tester was not making these allegations himself but rather passing on information delivered to him by White House and military members who had witnessed these incidents.

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that neither Ronny Jackson, nor the White House really want Congress to investigate these allegations.

Just a feeling I have.

There has been an uptick in Donald Trump's use of his personal cell phone because he does not want his Chief of Staff to know who he is calling. Oh that's not good.

President Donald Trump is increasingly relying on his personal cell phone to contact outside advisers, multiple sources inside and outside the White House told CNN, as Trump returns to the free-wheeling mode of operation that characterized the earliest days of his administration. 

"He uses it a lot more often more recently," a senior White House official said of the President's cell phone. 

Sources cited Trump's stepped-up cell phone use as an example of chief of staff John Kelly's waning influence over who gets access to the President. During the early days of Kelly's tenure, multiple sources said, Trump made many of his calls from the White House switchboard -- a tactic that allowed the chief of staff to receive a printed list of who Trump had phoned. Kelly has less insight into who Trump calls on his personal cell phone. 

While Trump never entirely gave up his personal cell phone once Kelly came aboard, one source close to the White House speculated that the President is ramping up the use of his personal device recently in part because "he doesn't want Kelly to know who he's talking to." 

The senior White House official said Trump "is talking to all sorts of people on it," noting Trump's barrage of private calls is a "recent development."

Though it gags me to say it out loud, this man is the president of the United States, and yet he conducts himself like a teenage girl sneaking phone calls to the boy from the wrong side of the tracks that her parents don't want her to see anymore.

Which really makes you wonder exactly WHO is Trump calling that he wants to keep off the official record and secret from his own chief of staff?

And does he look like this guy?

Donald Trump has invited Vladimir Putin to the White House. Again.

U.S. President Donald Trump invited his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to the United States during a phone call, and said he would be glad to see Putin in the White House, RIA Novosti reported on Friday, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The news agency quoted Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying Trump returned to the subject of an invitation a couple of times during a call last month and that Russia was now expecting Trump to formalize the invitation. 

“We proceed from the fact that the U.S. president in a telephone conversation...made such an invitation, said he would be glad to see (Putin) in the White House, would then be glad to meet on a reciprocal visit,” said Lavrov, according to a transcript of an interview with RIA on the foreign ministry website. 

“He returned to this topic a couple of times, so we let our American colleagues know that we do not want to impose, but we also do not want to be impolite, and that considering that President Trump made this proposal, we proceed from the position that he will make it concrete.”

Well so much for Trump suddenly getting tough on Putin.

You may remember that trump made this same offer almost exactly a month ago, and for all we know he has made it several times in between.

Of course since then there have been more cyber attacks from Russia, and of course this whole Syria airstrike Kabuki performance.

Let's simply point out once again that Trump is Putin's bitch, and he proves it almost every single day.

Jeff Sessions warns the White House that if Trump fires Rod Rosenstein he might have to quit as well.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently told the White House he might have to leave his job if President Trump fired his deputy, Rod J. Rosenstein, who oversees the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the exchange. 

Sessions made his position known in a phone call to White House counsel Donald McGahn last weekend, as Trump’s fury at Rosenstein peaked after the deputy attorney general approved the FBI’s raid April 9 on the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen.

Sessions’s message to the White House, which has not previously been reported, underscores the political firestorm that Trump would invite should he attempt to remove the deputy attorney general. While Trump also has railed against Sessions at times, the protest resignation of an attorney general — which would be likely to incite other departures within the administration — would create a moment of profound crisis for the White House. 

In the phone call with McGahn, Sessions wanted details of a meeting Trump and Rosenstein held at the White House on April 12, according to a person with knowledge of the call. Sessions expressed relief to learn that their meeting was largely cordial. Sessions said he would have had to consider leaving as the attorney general had Trump ousted Rosenstein, this person said. 

Another person familiar with the exchange said Sessions did not intend to threaten the White House but rather wanted to convey the untenable position that Rosenstein’s firing would put him in.

Now this may seem as if Sessions is finally sticking his chest out to defy his president, but he might be doing exactly what Trump wants him to do. 

Trump has already been warned about firing Sessions by his Republican supporters, who like and support the former Senator.

But if he fires Rosenstein, who his cohorts are already vilifying, and then Sessions quits of his own accord, that leaves Trump free and clear to appoint a new Attorney General who will not have to recuse himself from the Russia investigation and can hobble Robert Mueller with new guidelines and restrictions. 

This would allow Trump to gain back a little control, enough that he might even successfully neuter Mueller and make it almost impossible for him to do his job effectively.

As much as it pains me to say, the best thing for this investigation is that Jeff Sessions stays right where he is.

Of course it would also be very helpful if he did not fire Rod Rosenstein but I feel the writing is already on the wall.

Sean Hannity and Donald Trump don't simply share lawyers, they are late night snuggle bunnies.

The revelation this week that the two men share an attorney is just the latest sign of how Hannity is intertwined with Trump’s world — an increasingly powerful confidant who offers the ­media-driven president a sympathetic ear and shared grievances. The conservative commentator is so close to Trump that some White House aides have dubbed him the unofficial chief of staff. 

This portrait of the interactions between the president and the talk-show host is based on interviews with more than a dozen friends, advisers and associates of the two men, some of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations. 

For a president who feels, intensely, that he is under siege, Hannity offers what he prizes: loyalty and a mass audience. And Trump, in turn, has directed his supporters to Hannity’s show — urging people on Twitter last week to watch the commentator attack special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, who heads the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign. 

Their bond intensified during the 2016 campaign and has grown stronger during Trump’s time in office. 

“The bottom line is, during the heat of the campaign when relationships are forged, he was always there, offering good advice, in person and on television,” former deputy Trump campaign manager David Bossie said of Hannity. “The president sees him as an incredibly smart and articulate spokesman for the agenda.”

"Incredibly smart?"  Sure, okay.

The article goes on to say that Trump and Hannity talk several times a week, and that Hannity  even helps him with his tweets. (Well that explains a lot.)

In fact it is almost as if Hannity has a desk in the White House.

Shit, more like he has his toothbrush in the master bathroom.

Essentially Trump and Hannity are engaging in the Right Wing cable television version of phone sex.

"Oh Donald you are so masterful, and your hands seem gigantic over the phone."

"Oh Sean you are so creepily flattering, and I love how you carefully manipulate me into saying and tweeting crazy things that are damaging our country. I can't quit you."

I really think that this was Roger Ailes' fantasy all along.

To have Fox News take over the running of this country, and lead it to the glorious conservative dystopia that dominated his masturbatory fever dreams.

Too bad he did not live long enough to see it.

And hopefully WE will live long enough to see it all come crashing down around Donald Trump's ears.

Rather than softening Donald Trump's rhetoric on Twitter, Hope Hicks added her own brand of venom.

Hope Hicks, the former White House communications director and President Donald Trump's longtime aide and confidante, was known among reporters for softening her boss's sharp edges and relaying his strongly-worded messages in more pleasant terms. 

But according to a New York Times report, Hicks, who exited her White House position on March 29, regularly conceived of some of the sharpest personal attacks in Trump's Twitter feed. 

Hicks, along with White House director of social media Dan Scavino, helped the then-presidential candidate craft many of his infamous tweets from the campaign trail, The Times reported in a new profile of Scavino. And Hicks would supply some of the most devastating attacks. 

"She'd have absolute daggers," a former campaign official told The Times of Hicks.

No wonder Trump liked Hicks so much, and felt so lost without her.

She was the nasty ass Yin to his nasty ass Yang.

Of course it is not as if her leaving has softened any of Trump's tweets, though they certainly somewhat less articulate.

Remember, it's always the quiet ones that you never want to turn your back on.

Former Trump staffers considered "too toxic" to get another job.

Trump administration officials looking to escape to the private sector are getting a rude awakening: No one wants to hire them. 

Companies and firms who used to recruit from presidential administrations and brag when they were successful in poaching an aide are making the calculation that the risks of bringing on a Trump administration official outweigh the rewards, according to interviews with 10 current and former administration officials, top recruiters, and lobbyists who did not want to be named to talk candidly. BuzzFeed News reached out to them after previously reporting during an especially chaotic stretch for the Trump White House that some officials were trying to leave but finding their job prospects to be “pretty bleak.” That’s especially pronounced for more junior staff. 

The leadership at a prominent, bipartisan Washington public affairs firm went as far as to make an active decision not to hire from the Trump White House because of the "reputational risk" associated with it, a former White House official was recently told. The official asked BuzzFeed News not to disclose the name of the firm. 

In another case, a White House official said he was rejected out of the blue for a job after being given indications he would be hired and was explicitly told his affiliation with the Trump White House had been a problem for some at the company. 

The realities of the grim job prospects have also become clear to two associates who worked for President Donald Trump’s campaign but never went into the administration. They told BuzzFeed News they’ve been offering some of their former colleagues who now work at the White House regular advice in recent months on how to land job opportunities, but so far those colleagues have been unsuccessful. Both also said they were glad they ultimately chose not to join the administration after seeing their friends struggle.

I can't say that I blame these companies.

If you are either ignorant, unethical, or immoral enough to actually work for Donald Trump I would not even trust you enough to care for a houseplant while I was on vacation. 

I want nothing to do with a person so lacking in intelligence that they voted for Donald Trump, I would certainly not want to work alongside a person who actually sold their soul to be employed by him.

Chairman of Sinclair Broadcasting met with Donald Trump during the election, promising that "We are here to deliver your message."

The chairman of Sinclair Broadcast Group met Donald Trump at the White House during a visit to pitch a potentially lucrative new product to administration officials, the Guardian has learned. 

David D Smith, whose company has been criticised for making its anchors read a script echoing Trump’s attacks on the media, said he briefed officials last year on a system that would enable authorities to broadcast direct to any American’s phone. 

“I just wanted them to be aware of the technology,” Smith said in an interview. He also recalled an earlier meeting with Trump during the 2016 election campaign, where he told the future president: “We are here to deliver your message.” 

Sinclair is the biggest owner of local TV in the US, and may soon reach 72% of American households if a proposed $4bn takeover of a rival is approved by federal regulators. It is accused by critics of having a conservative bias, which it denies.

The company has been a driving force in the development of a new broadcasting standard known as Next Gen TV, and is one of the first involved in making chips for televisions, cellphones and other devices to receive the new transmissions. 

Gee I wonder if those chips can also report back information, such as viewing habits, news sources, and possible political affiliations?

Because I kind of bet they can.

The CEO of Sinclair recently apologized to their employees for all of attacks they are receiving from "extremists."

Sinclair Broadcast Group CEO Chris Ripley apologized to employees Tuesday for having to endure what he called “politically motivated attacks” over the right-leaning media company’s recent promos, which drew widespread criticism for echoing President Trump’s attacks on the “fake” news media. 

In a memo sent to staff, Ripley defended the scripts that anchors at more than 60 Sinclair stations were compelled to read, telling staff that the practice “is not unique to Sinclair, however, the blowback we received for doing so certainly is.” 

“For having to field nasty calls, threats, personal confrontations and trolling on social media, I am truly sorry you had to endure such an experience,” Ripley wrote. “However, as an organization it is important that we do not let extremists on any side of the political fence bully us because they do not like what they hear or see.”

Oh yeah Sinclair is being attacked for doing what EVERY other news outlet does.

Once again, which news outlets force their reporters to do this?

It is not an "extremist" point of view to point out that this is atrocious, nor is it extremist to be very uncomfortable with a "news" agency that meets with a presidential candidate and promises to deliver their message.

That is not news reporting, that is propaganda.

The Trump White House punched back at its own Justice Department Tuesday, with President Donald Trump and senior officials expressing outrage over a law enforcement raid on lawyer Michael Cohen—and making thinly veiled threats to fire special Russia prosecutor Robert Mueller. 

“We’ve been advised the president certainly has the power to make that decision,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said when asked whether Trump could fire Mueller, who answers not to the White House but to deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein. 

Trump began the day tweeting in defense of Cohen, a longtime Trump Organization associate. “A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!!!” Trump wrote on Twitter Tuesday morning. He also added: “Attorney-client privilege is dead!” 

A GOP operative close to the White House told POLITICO: “The all caps tweet, that’s the primal scream. That’s the war cry.” 

“He’s losing his shit,” the operative added. “We’re at a different level now.”

That is very similar to what Vanity Fair is reporting as well:

There have been times during Robert Mueller’s investigation—Mueller’s subpoenaing of Trump business records, for instance—when White House advisers worried Trump seemed on the verge of triggering a constitutional crisis by firing Mueller, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, or Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The stunning Cohen raid is another one of these moments. “He’s sitting there bitching and moaning. He’s brooding and doesn’t have a plan,” a Republican close to the White House said last night. “I could see him having a total meltdown and saying, ‘Fuck it, I’m firing all of them,’” a Trump friend told me. “This is very dry tinder. If someone strikes a match to it, you could see it catching fire,” added a former official.

It was also announced today that Trump has cancelled his planned trip to South America, supposedly to because he wants to monitor the situation in Syria, but of course we all know which situation has his full attention.  

All day today I have been expecting Trump to lose his shit and start firing everybody in the Justice Department, or declare war on Mexico, or set the rest of Trump Tower on fire.

But so far it's like that part of the horror movie before the teenagers go downstairs to figure out why the lights won't work.

You know that somebody is getting an axe in the forehead, you just don't know when, or which one it will be.

President Trump has reportedly invited Vladimir Putin to the White House for a visit, according to a statement from the Kremlin. Putin aide Yury Ushakov told reporters Monday that during a March 20 phone conversation, Trump “suggested that the first meeting could be held in Washington” between the two leaders. “If everything goes well, I hope that the American side would not refuse its proposal to discuss the possibility of organizing the summit talks.” According to an Agence France-Presse reporter, a senior U.S. official did “not deny” that Trump “floated the idea of a White House summit,” noting that “no planning has begun as yet.” According to a TASS state media report, Ushakov told journalists that since the U.S. and Russia has expelled their respective diplomats from their countries, “there have been no specific discussions of a possible meeting.” He also said Russia “would like to believe that preparations for such a meeting will begin.” The news follows reports Trump congratulated Putin on his re-election over the phone on that call after his staff told him explicitly not to—as well as a suspected poisoning of a former Russian spy on British soil and amid special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of alleged Trump campaign collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential election. 

I have said this before, but let me say it again, Donald Trump does not work for the American people.

Donald Trump works for the Kremlin.

And and by way of proof do you remember when Trump kicked out those 60 Russian diplomats in response to the poisoning of that former spy in Britain?

Yeah well that was only for show, because he is allowing all of them to be replaced by new Russian diplomats who will also be spying for the Kremlin.

President Trump reportedly dined with Fox News personality Sean Hannity at the president's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida this weekend.

The Palm Beach Post also reported that Trump golfed with Hannity on Saturday. 

“The president was in a very good mood. He seemed very, very happy,” longtime Republican operative Larry Casey, who was a guest at the club, told the Post. 

Casey added that he saw the two golfing together, while the president remained uncharacteristically silent on social media. 

Their meetings come as the White House searches for a replacement for Hope Hicks, Trump's longtime aide and White House communications director. Hicks's last day in the White House was on Thursday.

On the one hand you would think that common sense dictates that hiring Sean Hannity as you communications director would ridiculous on its face, but then you might thing "Why in the hell am I attributing common sense to any decisions that Donald Trump might make?"

And of course Hannity is likely far more effective for Trump lying his ass off for him on Fox News, then he would be lying his ass for him to reporters at he White House.

(Here he is begging James Comey to come on his show, while at the same time attacking Anderson Cooper and CNN as "fake news.")

However I actually think that Hannity's job is in jeopardy at Fox, and that he might be looking for a soft place to land, which would make a gig at the White House much more attractive to him.

Look I don't know, we're just speculating here.

But what I do know is that if Trump gave Sean Hannity a job in his communications department, he might as well go ahead and tap Sarah Palin for a cabinet position as well, because he has already crossed over the line of lunacy at that point.

I am not sure if conservatives are all hypocrites, or if hypocrites are all conservatives.

Jay Roach the man who directed HBO's "Game Change" is also set to direct the television adaption of Michael Wolff's book "Fire and Fury."

While Game Change director Jay Roach may no longer be working on that HBO movie about the 2016 election, he’s sticking to the Trump beat for his next project. Roach has been tapped to direct and executive produce the television adaptation of Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, EW has learned. 

Roach’s past dealings with politically charged dramatizations paid off with Emmy after Emmy after Emmy. He has four in total — two for HBO’s Recount (about the recounts in Florida after the 2000 presidential election) and two for Game Change (about John McCain and running mate Sarah Palin). Roach also earned two Emmy nominations for his Lyndon B. Johnson biopic, All the Way. 

Based on the track record, might he have another potential awards contender with Fire and Fury?

Okay well I'm certainly loving this, Roach did a great job with Game Change.

But I bet there is somebody who is spitting nails over this news.

Yep, that's her.

Caroline Sunshine -- best known for her role as Tinka Hessenheffer on the hit Disney show, "Shake It Up" -- is going to do her best to brighten up Trump's White House ... by working in his press office. 

The 22-year-old actress is joining the team as a press assistant, after serving recently as a White House intern. Her role will most likely involve lending a hand to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, President Trump's WH Press Secretary. 

According to a WH spokesperson, Caroline interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee and the California Republican Party before making the move to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Pretty young ingenue joins the White House as a press secretary.

I think we all know who is going to be getting a crash course in steaming up Mr. Trump's pants.

Maybe Hopey gave her some tips on not burning the presidential peanut before she finished out her last day yesterday.

Donald Trump wants to bring the wife beater back into the White House. Because you know, THAT will make everything better.

President Trump has stayed in touch with Rob Porter, the former White House staff secretary who stepped down after allegations that he had abused his two former wives came to light, according to three people familiar with the conversations, and has told some advisers he hopes Mr. Porter returns to work in the West Wing. 

The president’s calls with Mr. Porter have increased in the last few weeks, as the number of people he is close to in the White House has dwindled because of the large number of staff departures, the people familiar with the calls said. 

In Mr. Trump’s orbit, few people are ever permanently exiled. He often sees aides who are subject to public criticism as extensions of himself, coming under fire because critics want to attack him, and he has described the Porter situation in those terms to some people, those briefed on the discussions said. 

The president has told the advisers he has talked with that he knows he probably cannot bring Mr. Porter back. But he has made clear that he misses the staff structure that Mr. Porter had helped build and implement, a White House official said, speaking on background because advisers were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

Yes, well it's relatively easy to keep people in check if they think you will backhand them the minute they step out of line. 

His ex-wife certainly learned that the hard way.

Just the mere fact that Trump wants this asshole back in the White House essentially tells you all you need to know about his respect for women, his tolerance for abusive behaviors, and his growing desperation.

A friend of President Trump said Sunday that the president has told him he expects to make one or two more major personnel changes in his administration soon, amid mounting signs that Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin is on the way out. 

Christopher Ruddy, chief executive of Newsmax, said others in the White House, but not Trump, have told him that Shulkin is “likely to depart the Cabinet very soon.” 

Ruddy, who speaks frequently to Trump, said on ABC News’s “This Week” that Trump believes that, on the whole, the White House is operating “like a smooth machine” and has been “perplexed” by news reports of chaos. 

“He did say that he’s expecting to make one or two major changes to his government very soon,” Ruddy said.

If this White House is running like a "smooth machine" than I would hate to see what it would look life if it were falling apart at the seams.

Hang on, we are actually witnessing EXACTLY what that would look like.

There are already so many people jumping ship or being thrown overboard that if there are any more Rachel Maddow will have to stand outside on the street so that all of the names can be beamed onto the side of 30 Rock in order to fit in one graphic.

That is NOT what a "smooth machine" of a presidency looks like.

That is what train wreck of a presidency looks like.

Or to put a finer point on it, that is what a Donald Trump presidency looks like.

Donald Trump had senior staff sign NDA's, which would extend beyond their time in the White House.

In the early months of the administration, at the behest of now-President Trump, who was furious over leaks from within the White House, senior White House staff members were asked to, and did, sign nondisclosure agreements vowing not to reveal confidential information and exposing them to damages for any violation. Some balked at first but, pressed by then-Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and the White House Counsel’s Office, ultimately complied, concluding that the agreements would likely not be enforceable in any event.

The nondisclosure agreements, said a person who signed the document, “were meant to be very similar to the ones that some of us signed during the campaign and during the transition. I remember the president saying, ‘Has everybody signed a confidentiality agreement like they did during the campaign or we had at Trump Tower?’ ” 

At that time, in February or March of 2017, the source said, “There was lots of leaking, things that just weren’t true, and a lot of things that were true and should have remained confidential. The president’s point was that they [staff] would think twice about that if they were on the hook for some serious damages.” 

Moreover, said the source, this confidentiality pledge would extend not only after an aide’s White House service but also beyond the Trump presidency. “It’s not meant to be constrained by the four years or eight years he’s president — or the four months or eight months somebody works there. It is meant to survive that.” 

This is extraordinary. Every president inveighs against leakers and bemoans the kiss-and-tell books; no president, to my knowledge, has attempted to impose such a pledge. And while White House staffers have various confidentiality obligations — maintaining the secrecy of classified information or attorney-client privilege, for instance — the notion of imposing a side agreement, supposedly enforceable even after the president leaves office, is not only oppressive but constitutionally repugnant.

The draft of the NDA seen by the reporter for this story levied a fine of 10 million dollars for every unauthorized revelation about Trump or the Trump Administration.

That is beyond punitive, that his draconian.

It is also not enforceable, as explained by this professor of political science:

I am having a hard time getting over the fact that Trump is treating White House personnel in the same way that he treats an adult film actress with whom he had an extra marital affair.

After he does something criminal or despicable, they are just loose ends to be tied up by his attorneys.

Really makes you wonder exactly what Donald Trump is so concerned with people finding out about him, doesn't it?
