Trump's lie to James Comey about not spending the night in Moscow after the 2013 Miss Universe pageant has been officially blown to shit.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

In a fateful private White House dinner early last year, President Donald Trump raised with then-FBI Director James Comey the issue of “the golden showers thing”—a particularly salacious portion of an intelligence dossier claiming Trump hired Russian prostitutes to urinate on a Moscow hotel-room bed in 2013, while he was in town for the Miss Universe pageant.

According to Comey’s memos about that conversation, Trump claimed it was impossible for him to have done any such thing, because “he had spoken to people who had been on... the trip with him and they had reminded him that he didn’t stay over night in Russia for that.”

All available evidence proves otherwise—from flight records obtained by Politico to social media posts from the time to testimony from Trump’s own bodyguard. And now there’s more proof.

Thomas Roberts, host of that year’s Miss Universe pageant, confirmed to The Daily Beast on Tuesday that Trump was in Moscow for one full night and at least part of another.

“The first time I met Donald Trump it was in Moscow on November 8th, 2013,” the former NBC anchor said. “I taped a sit-down interview with Trump the next day on November 9th. That was also the date for the Miss Universe broadcast.”

Roberts continued: “During the after-party for the Miss Universe event, Mr. Trump offered to fly me and my husband back to New York. He said he would be leaving directly from the party. We were unable to accept the invitation. That was the early morning hours of November 10th.”

I actually resisted reporting on this earlier because the only account we have that Trump said this is from Comey, who the Trump folks will simply discount as a liar.

However now that so much information has come out that Trump DID lie to the former director of the FBI, and now that so many news outlets have reported it, I think it is important to note here on IM as well.

You know, just to keep a record of the number of lies that Trump has told since announcing his intention to make a run at the White House.

Which I think is well into the hundreds by now.

Besides, from what we have seen Comey took meticulous notes to back up his version of events, and has not been shown to be wrong yet.

Habitual liars like Donald Trump will quite literally lie about ANYTHING, even if they know they will be caught, and even if it really does not serve them to do so.

Simply put, they cannot help it.

Ex-Forbes writer recalls how Donald Trump called him posing as "John Barron" and then lied to get on the Forbes 400 list.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

“No one could imagine the unimaginable,” said writer Jonathan Greenberg Friday on CNN. “No one can imagine someone would do this, call as their own PR person.”

But it happened, of course. And Greenberg was one of those duped by President Donald Trump into believing he was talking to The Donald’s PR flack, “John Barron” — when, in fact, he was talking to The Donald. Greenberg was reporting for Forbes in 1984, helping to compile the magazine’s Forbes 400 List. As part of a piece for the Washington Post Friday, Greenberg shared audio of his calls with Barron, and recalled how the mogul tried to convince the magazine he was worth more than he actually was.

'Although Trump altered some cadences and affected a slightly stronger New York accent, it was clearly him. “Barron” told me that Trump had taken possession of the business he ran with his father, Fred. “Most of the assets have been consolidated to Mr. Trump,” he said. “You have down Fred Trump [as half owner] . . . but I think you can really use Donald Trump now.” Trump, through this sockpuppet, was telling me he owned “in excess of 90 percent” of his family’s business. With all the home runs Trump was hitting in real estate, Barron told me, he should be called a billionaire.'

Greenberg also referred to Trump as  the "consummate con man." Which is something that I think is more than obvious to most of us.

I have to think at some point there will come a time when the people who voted for Donald Trump, and this might be a few years in the future, are really going to start hating themselves for being so fucking gullible.

Don't you think?

Or am I giving them too much credit?

The boy "who came back from Heaven" files lawsuit, because he never got paid for that lie.

Courtesy of The Christian Post:

A young man who as a boy became the subject of a bestselling book claiming he had went to Heaven and met Jesus following a car accident while comatose is now suing book publisher Tyndale House for damages.

Alex Malarkey, now 20, was left as a quadriplegic following the 2004 accident, which was made famous in the 2010 bestseller The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven.

A lawsuit filed on Monday at DuPage County Circuit Court in Wheaton, Illinois, claims that Tyndale made millions from his account, which in 2015 Malarkey admitted was a total fabrication made up by his father, Kevin Malarkey, who has since passed away.

The suit explains that the father made up the story that Malarkey "had gone to Heaven, communicated with God the Father, Jesus, angels and the devil, and then returned," and that he had taken all the profits from the book.

Whenever I think about the innate gullibility of religious people this is one of the examples that springs to mind.

Once people convince themselves that the impossible is possible they are susceptible to any "evidence," no matter how flimsy, which seems to confirm their belief.

This is why televangelists have private planes, live in huge mansions, and wear Italian suits.

It is a cottage industry built around people's ignorance and need to embrace superstitious nonsense.

And in this day and age there is really no excuse for it.

Donald Trump claims that he has no idea where his attorney got the $130,000 he paid Stormy Daniels for her silence.

Courtesy of CNN:

President Donald Trump said on Thursday he did not know about a $130,000 payment made to the adult film actress Stormy Daniels for her silence, his first public acknowledgment of the scandal surrounding an alleged sexual affair that has plagued him for months.

"No," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One when questioned about his knowledge of the payment, which was made by his private attorney Michael Cohen in the month before the 2016 election.

Asked why Cohen made the payment, Trump said: "You'll have to ask Michael Cohen. Michael is my attorney. You'll have to ask Michael."

He said he didn't know where the money came from and ignored a question about whether he set up a fund for Cohen to draw from in making the payment.

I believe this is the first time that Trump has addressed the Stormy Daniels situation directly.

She of course shares the same rarefied space as Vladimir Putin as one of those who must never be criticized by Donald Trump.

I don't know about all of you but I seriously doubt that Michael Cohen made his payment on his own without his client knowing anything about it.

That seems preposterous and would make Michael Cohen one of the biggest schmucks in recent history.

What's more the lawyer for Stormy Daniels is not buying it either.

We know that Avenatti is really looking forward to getting the opportunity to cross examine Donald Trump, and you can bet your ass that if he does he is going to ask him about this money.

In fact only an hour or so after Trump made those remarks to reporters, I saw this:
If Trump lies while under oath, he's fucked.

But if Trump tells the truth, well he's still fucked.

Actually the minute he sits down with this pit bull of a lawyer, he's fucked.

The White House Easter Bunny is all of us.

Trump also seemed to have trouble understanding what to call the White House.
(Hint: It is both the name and the description of the building.)

I do not know who is specifically in charge of choosing the costume for the White House Easter Bunny, but that whole "WTF is he saying?" expression this one wears while Trump blatantly lies about his administration's success, and stumbles around for the right word, is pure gold.

I did some checking and discovered that this is the same exact costume that the Easter Bunny wore for LAST year's White House Easter celebration.
See?

People are also still wondering who Trump forced to wear the costume.

Last year everybody was pretty sure it was Spicey.
So who do we think did the honors this year?

My guess would be Eric Trump since nobody has even seen that guy in months, and he would probably do just about anything just to finally get noticed.

Donald Trump bragged in a speech to fundraisers about lying right to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's face.

Courtesy of WaPo:

President Trump boasted in a fundraising speech Wednesday that he made up information in a meeting with the leader of a top U.S. ally, saying he insisted to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that the United States runs a trade deficit with its neighbor to the north without knowing whether that was the case.

“Trudeau came to see me. He’s a good guy, Justin. He said, ‘No, no, we have no trade deficit with you, we have none. Donald, please,’ ” Trump said, mimicking Trudeau, according to audio of the private event in Missouri obtained by The Washington Post. “Nice guy, good-looking guy, comes in — ‘Donald, we have no trade deficit.’ He’s very proud because everybody else, you know, we’re getting killed.

“ ... So, he’s proud. I said, ‘Wrong, Justin, you do.’ I didn’t even know. ... I had no idea. I just said, ‘You’re wrong.’ You know why? Because we’re so stupid. … And I thought they were smart. I said, ‘You’re wrong, Justin.’ He said, ‘Nope, we have no trade deficit.’ I said, ‘Well, in that case, I feel differently,’ I said, ‘but I don’t believe it.’ I sent one of our guys out, his guy, my guy, they went out, I said, ‘Check, because I can’t believe it.’

‘Well, sir, you’re actually right. We have no deficit, but that doesn’t include energy and timber. … And when you do, we lose $17 billion a year.’ It’s incredible.”

That last part is of course pure bullshit, we have a trade surplus with Canada, not a deficit.

First off Canada is an American ally, not enemy.

Secondly obviously Trudeau knew Trump was full of shit, so what was the point of lying?

And thirdly if this buttmunch cannot even handle diplomacy with our allies, how can we trust him to deal with North Korea?

Fourthly this idiot is still pushing this lie on Twitter.
You know I have no idea how much more damage Donald Trump is going to be able to inflict on America's image, but I know that we have not seen the bottom yet.

Putin says that he does not care if Russians hacked the US election, and suggests that they might have been Jews or that they were paid by Americans.

Courtesy of NBC News:

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told NBC News that he "couldn't care less" if Russian citizens tried to interfere in the 2016 American presidential election because, he claims, they were not connected to the Kremlin.

In an exclusive and at-times combative interview with NBC's Megyn Kelly, Putin again denied the charge by U.S. intelligence services that he ordered meddling in the November 2016 vote that put Donald Trump in the White House.

"Why have you decided the Russian authorities, myself included, gave anybody permission to do this?" asked Putin, who will probably be returned as president in the March 18 elections.

"So what if they're Russians?" Putin said of the people named in last month's indictment. "There are 146 million Russians. So what? ... I don't care. I couldn't care less. ... They do not represent the interests of the Russian state."

Putin even suggested that Jews or other ethnic groups had been involved in the meddling.

"Maybe they're not even Russians," he said. "Maybe they're Ukrainians, Tatars, Jews, just with Russian citizenship. Even that needs to be checked. Maybe they have dual citizenship. Or maybe a green card. Maybe it was the Americans who paid them for this work. How do you know? I don't know.

Putin also claimed that he had seen no evidence that the Russians actually did any of the hacking, which is odd because you would think he would be eager to read the updates they sent him on their progress.

I do not know why NBC allows Megyn Kelly, a former operative from Fox News, to even interview this guy when they know he is simply going to lie his ass off?

The only person that I want to hear interviewing Vladimir Putin is Robert Mueller.

Under oath if at all possible.

There is at least one positive outcome from all of this. At least now Kelly realizes that Trump is likely compromised by Putin.

Courtesy of The Hill:

“I would not say that Putin likes Trump,” she said. “I did not glean that at all from him. I did glean that perhaps he has something on Donald Trump."

“I think there’s a very good chance Putin knows some things about Donald Trump that Mr. Trump does not want repeated publicly,” she added.

Gee, no shit.

Well here's a little good news to start your day.

If ever there were a more deserving POS for this to happen to, I certainly do not know their name.

Jones is behind some of the most egregious conspiracy theories that have spread chaos around the internet, including birtherism, the accusation that Sandy Hook was a "false flag" operation, and the Pizzagate lie which resulted in a man firing a gun in that establishment.

I hope they eject him from every social media outlet.

P.S. By the way as it turns out YouTube did not take down the channel, however they did strip him of his advertisers

Hope Hicks is resigning as White House Communications Director.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

Hope Hicks, the White House communications director and one of President Trump’s longest-serving advisers, said Wednesday that she was resigning.

Ms. Hicks, 29, a former model who joined Mr. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign without any experience in politics, became known as one of the few aides who understood his personality and style and could challenge the president to change his views.

Ms. Hicks had been considering leaving for several months. She told colleagues that she had accomplished what she felt she could with a job that made her one of the most powerful people in Washington, and that there would never be a perfect moment to leave, according to White House aides.

Her resignation came a day after she testified for eight hours before the House Intelligence Committee, telling the panel that in her job, she had occasionally been required to tell white lies but had never lied about anything connected to the investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

I think that admission of telling "white lies" put a target on her back for the Mueller team and she knows it.

I also think that once she is out of the White House she is going to no longer be a reliable defender for Donald Trump and that she may start singing like a canary in order to get herself a deal like the one that Rick Gates just received.

Have to wonder who will read to Donald Trump, give him the bad news that he only wanted to hear from Hicks, and compose his tweets for him first thing in the morning with her now leaving?
I goddamn guarantee you that Trump is crapping his overweight adult size Depends right now.

Speaking at CPAC NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch suggests that the media sees mass shootings as "ratings gold."

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Speaking at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference, Loesch noted that she had participated in a CNN town hall after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida that left 17 dead.

“Many in the legacy media love mass shootings,” she charged. “White crying mothers are ratings gold.”

“I call B.S.,” Loesch added, mocking a line from Parkland shooting survivor Emma Gonazlez. “I represent 5 million plus members [of the NRA], average everyday Americans, moms and dads. They do the school run, go to the grocery story, they’re students, they’re hunters. They are people like me who simply don’t want to be assaulted in the parking lot if we go to the grocery store to buy a gallon of milk at night!”

Before finishing her remarks, Loesch revealed that she needed armed guards to safely exit the CNN town hall.

“You heard that town hall last night, they cheered the confiscation of fire arms,” she explained. “And it was over 5,000 people. I have to have a security detail to get out. I wouldn’t have been able to exit that if I did not have a private security detail. There were people rushing the stage and screaming ‘burn her.'”

Speaking of B.S. I call that on Loesch's claim that the stage was rushed and she needed security to exit the event safely.

I assume that she is referring to this.
I don't see anybody rushing of the stage, or calls to "burn her," but I do see angry people, some who lost loved ones to gun violence, yelling "shame on you" to her as she is leaving.

Is that what made her feel unsafe, and that she needed armed security to protect her?

You know I used to think I would never come across a woman as despicable as Sarah Palin.

I was wrong.

Not only has Donald Trump failed to save the coal industry, but more plants have closed during his first year in office than in the entire first term of the Obama presidency.

Courtesy of Green Tech Media:

In his first State of the Union address, Trump declared that “we have ended the war on American energy, and we have ended the war on beautiful, clean coal.”

According to the Sierra Club, though, more coal capacity closed in the first 45 days of 2018 than in Obama’s entire first term.

The organization, which has made it part of its mission to shutter coal plants, said it's on track to close the country’s 262 remaining plants over the next decade. So far, the Sierra Club says efforts to close coal plants have prevented over 7,000 premature deaths and stopped over 120,000 asthma attacks, largely in marginalized communities overburdened by pollution.

Blair Zimmerman, a former coal miner and current county commissioner in Greene County, Pennsylvania, where the 4 West Mine closed in January, said the Trump administration hasn’t made any measurable impacts in that rural area.

"There's not been any significant change in the industry since he's taken over,” he told CNN.

Obviously I think that anybody who voted for Donald Trump is a fucking moron.

But there is perhaps no group of idiots as ignorant as the coal mining folk who really believed that Trump had any interest in saving a dying industry.

Trump lies, that's what he does.

How is it that people had such difficulty understanding that?

In a tweet yesterday Donald Trump accused Democrats, that's right DEMOCRATS, of not wanting to do anything about gun control.

First off the Democrats did NOT have control of Congress for very long at all during the Obama Administration.

Courtesy of Ohio.com:

In May, 2009, Robert Byrd got sick and did not return to the Senate until July 21, 2009. Even though Franken was finally seated July 7, 2009 and Byrd returned on July 21…..Democrats still only had 59 votes in the Senate because Kennedy never returned, dying on August 25, 2009.

Kennedy’s empty seat was temporarily filled by Paul Kirk but not until September 24, 2009.

The swearing in of Kirk finally gave Democrats 60 votes (at least potentially) in the Senate. “Total control” of Congress by Democrats lasted all of 4 months. From September 24, 2009 through February 4, 2010…at which point Scott Brown, a Republican, was sworn in to replace Kennedy’s Massachusetts seat.

This is a lie that the Republicans have been telling for eight years now, and they need to be called out on it EVERY..SINGLE..TIME!

And as for the Democrats not wanting to do anything about gun control, in the five years right after Gabby Giffords was shot the Democrats introduced more than 100 gun control bills, and they were ALL blocked by the Republicans.

Very few of them even made it to the House or Senate floor.

I know that this orange POS lies like some people draw breath, but we cannot allow him to spread this bullshit on our watch .

Sarah Palin spreading lies about the Florida school shooter on Twitter.

Clearly Palin and her cohorts do not want the truth to come out about this young man.

Fortunately Twitter justice was both fast and furious.

Yeah, he was certainly NOT a Muslim terrorist or left wing activist.

He was a victim of the same kind of thinking, and mental health issues, that also inspired Palin's son to assault and point guns at his wife and girlfriends, and to beat the hell out of the only father he has ever known.

So did Track also search for Allahu Akbar on the internet?

In the meantime back in the reality based world.....

It does not appear that Rob Porter and White House chief of staff John Kelly have the same story about Porter's resignation.

Courtesy of Axios:

White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter is telling associates that some senior White House officials strongly encouraged him to "stay and fight," and claims he "never misrepresented anything" to Chief of Staff John Kelly.

Why it matters: This White House has a culture problem, starting at the top. The natural instinct is to defend/deny and show scant, if any, concern for the women alleging misconduct and harm. And when the going gets tough internally, the other natural instinct is to blame everyone but yourself.

It should be noted that Trump himself offered this reaction when asked about Porter's resignation:

"I found out about it recently and I was surprised by it," Trump said. "We certainly wish him well. It's obviously a very tough time for him. He did a very good job while he was in the White House."

"We hope that he will have a wonderful career," Trump added.

Trump said "it was very sad when we heard about it."

Trump focused on Porter's denial of the allegations that he struck his two-ex-wives while they were married. "He says he's innocent, and I think you have to remember that," Trump said.

"He said very strongly yesterday that he's innocent, but you'll have to talk to him about that."

So essentially Trump was insinuating that the women were liars, and seems very defensive about losing Porter.

But that is NOT the story that Kelly wants told about his reaction:

According to the member of Congress, giving the most detailed Kelly version of events so far:

In Kelly’s telling, Porter misrepresented to him that the Daily Mail story would be about a messy marriage and divorce, with allegations of verbal and emotional abuse.

Kelly specifically asked Porter about physical abuse of both ex-wives and girlfriends, and Porter denied that.

Upon Porter’s denials, Kelly allowed the White House press team to write a statement giving a wholehearted endorsement of Porter as a man of great integrity. (This was Kelly’s initial statement.)

Kelly is telling associates that only when the Daily Mail story published online on Tuesday night did he learn the real story.

Kelly says he immediately took action: he confronted Porter, told him he had to resign, then called President Trump to inform him of his decision. This is what Kelly means when he tells colleagues he acted quickly and settled the matter within 40 minutes.

However it should be remembered that this was what Kelly said right after the story of Porter's spousal abuse became public:

"Rob Porter is a man of true integrity and honor and I can't say enough good things about him … I am proud to serve alongside him."

That does not sound like a man who "acted quickly" when he learned that his trusted subordinate had a history of beating the shit out of the women in his life.

By the way even some of Kelly's White House aides are calling bullshit on his version of events.

This Trump White House is almost literally bulging with habitual liars so it is almost impossible to discern who might be telling the truth at any given time.

But in this case I am thinking that Kelly is simply in CYA mode right now, and is lying his ass off to keep his job.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" director offers $100,000 dollars to Trump's favorite charity if he will prove he only weighs 239 pounds.

Courtesy of EW:

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn isn’t buying Donald Trump’s annual medical exam. And he’s willing to bet $100,000 that the report wasn’t accurate.

Gunn tweeted that he would give six figures to Trump’s favorite charity if the president would step on a scale under more transparent circumstances.

Gunn is simply saying what I think the majority of the people recognize.
And that is that the man on the right is definitely NOT six foot three and DEFINITELY does not weigh only 239 pounds.

Which means by the way that we really cannot believe a single thing that the White House doctor, Ronny Johnson, told us yesterday.

We have a story right below this one which insinuates, rather strongly, that Trump paid Marla Maples to claim he was the best lover she had ever had.

So of COURSE he also must be the healthiest president, no matter how much that costs to prove.

Personally I think that if Donald Trump wants to put this all to rest he should take James Gunn up on his offer.

Besides it could prove lucrative, because let's face it Donald Trump's favorite charity is Donald Trump.

More about Donald Trump's affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

As it turns out there was a reporter from Slate working on the story about Trump and Daniels before the election.

Jacob Weisberg did not post that story because he did not feel he had enough corroboration to write it with confidence that it could stand up to scrutiny.

Now that the Wall Street Journal has written their account of Daniels receiving $130,000 in hush money Weisberg has written about what he learned during multiple interviews with Daniels.

From the article:

Daniels, whose given name is Stephanie Clifford, did indeed have a story about Trump, which she related to me in a series of phone conversations and text exchanges that took place between August and October of 2016.

Daniels told me she’d gone to Trump’s hotel room after meeting him at a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada in 2006. There they’d begun a sexual relationship, which continued for nearly a year. They’d met in New York and more than once in Los Angeles. In early 2007, Trump had invited her to a party to promote Trump Vodka, where she was photographed. He’d also invited her to his Miss USA pageant that year.

In our conversations, Daniels said she was holding back on the juiciest details, such as her ability to describe things about Trump that only someone who had seen him naked would know. She intimated that her view of his sexual skill was at odds with the remark attributed to Marla Maples.

You may remember that Maples reported that it was "The Best Sex" she had ever had.

You know just like Trump is the least racist person you have ever met, the best businessman in history, and the healthiest person to ever occupy the White House.

Weisberg sort of glossed over the more prurient details and instead focused on what was then a pending financial agreement between the lawyers for Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels' attorney:

Daniels said that, through intermediaries, she and Trump had worked out an agreement for the presidential candidate to pay her a six-figure sum to keep quiet. More specifically, she said her lawyer Keith Davidson, a Beverly Hills–based attorney who specializes in claims against celebrities, had worked out the terms with Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen.

Daniels told me that agreement involved a complicated arrangement to shield the real names of the parties. She texted me an unsigned two-page document spelling out this arrangement, the title of which was “Exhibit ‘A’ to the Confidential Settlement Agreement and Release: Assignment of Copyright and Non-Disparagement Agreement.”* The document she texted me indicated that in the main agreement—a document I never saw—“Stephanie Gregory Clifford aka Stormy Daniels is referred to by the pseudonym ‘Peggy Peterson,’ and ___________ is referred to by the pseudonym ‘David Dennison.’ ”

The document Daniels sent me included two additional pseudonyms, “David Delucia” and “RCI,” but did not indicate which person and/or entity those pseudonyms referred to. Another provision in the document I saw stated that only Daniels’ lawyer Keith Davidson and a lawyer for the other party would be allowed to retain copies of the side-letter agreement identifying the parties by their actual names.

About a week before the election Daniels stopped responding to texts and emails, likely due to the fact that she had reached that financial agreement which the Wall Street Journal reported on recently.

Now it is very unlikely that this story by Weisberg would have changed the outcome of the election, because let's face it unless this was gay sex, or sex with a black person, Trump's deplorables would not be bothered in the least.

However, as has been pointed out by a number of commentators, this story would have DESTROYED the candidacy of any other politician that we can think of, and that right there tells us just how far away from our moral center we have drifted since Donald Trump rode down that escalator to announce his candidacy.

In Touch got even more information about this fling from Daniels back in 2011. Here is their story:

Stormy told In Touch, “[The sex] was textbook generic,” while discussing the fling they had less than four months after Donald’s wife, Melania, gave birth to their son, Barron. “I actually don’t even know why I did it, but I do remember while we were having sex, I was like, ‘Please, don’t try to pay me.’”

At one point, Stormy told In Touch, she excused herself to go to the bathroom. “When I came out, he was sitting on the bed and he was like, ‘Come here.’ And I was like, ‘Ugh, here we go.’ And we started kissing.” After having sex, Stormy said, “We hung out for a little while and he just kept saying, ‘I’m gonna call you, I’m gonna call you. I have to see you again. You’re amazing. We have to get you on The Apprentice.’”

Of course Trump never did get Daniels that gig on "The Apprentice" or kept any other promises that he made to her.

However he DID pay her off, which is why she is denying all of this now.

On a final note the fellow adult film star that Stormy Daniels invited to a threesome with Donald Trump appeared on the Megyn Kelly show to tell her side of things.

I do not typically post video of Kelly's show, but I think you will like this.

“Picture this: Donald Trump chasing me around the bedroom in his tighty whities isn’t something you forget.”

And now none of us will be able to forget it, or that such an embarrassing POS is occupying the People's House.

Donald Trump claims he didn't say he had a relationship with Kim Jong Un, because it wasn't recorded. But he did, and it was. Update!

Courtesy of Mediaite:

This morning, President Donald Trump got his Sunday started by taking to Twitter to rail against the Wall Street Journal over an interview he gave the paper last week. One of the big revelations from that conversation was Trump’s declaration that he actually has a “very good relationship” with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Of course, this raised many eyebrows considering that Trump has publicly denigrated the reclusive and erratic leader numerous times.

At the start of his morning tweetstorm, Trump claimed that the WSJ falsely represented what he said. According to the president, his actual words were “I’d have a good relationship with Kim Jong Un.”

That followed this tweet from Sarah Huckabee Sanders which claims that the Wall Street Journal misquoted Trump.
The problem with all of this of course is that the Wall Street Journal, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch by the way, DID record the comments.
So yeah, Trump and his Huckabee attack dog are once again simply lying.

And that is why I simply reject EVERYTHING this Trump White House says as purposefully inaccurate.

Update: For those who are still unsure, this the statement in question and what Trump said immediately following.
Yeah, he knew what impression he was trying to give.

It is only after being called out for it later that he and his sycophants try to change the facts.

Trump's now disbanded election fraud commission admits it did not find any election fraud, and will destroy all of its records.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

In a court filing on Tuesday, the White House announced that it had not uncovered any preliminary findings of voter fraud in the 2016 election and that it would be destroying confidential voter data initially collected for President Trump’s controversial voter fraud commission, which was disbanded on January 3.

The revelation stands in stark contrast to previous comments made by both Trump and former commission vice chair and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who claimed in an interview with right-wing outlet Breitbart one week ago that all investigation work would be “handed off” to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), implying that Democrats were becoming “uncomfortable” with how much Republicans had discovered thus far.

Trump also claimed previously that the commission — created in May 2017 and charged with identifying “vulnerabilities in voting systems” that could lead to fraud — had uncovered “substantial” findings which would be handed over to DHS.

Tuesday’s court filing contradicted those claims.

“The Commission did not create any preliminary findings,” White House Director of Information Technology Charles C. Herndon said. “In any event, no Commission records or data will be transferred to the DHS or another agency, except to NARA [the National Archives and Records Administration] if required, in accordance with federal law.”

He added that “no Commission member was provided access to the state voter data prior to the Commission’s termination and none has access now.”

"Had not uncovered any preliminary findings of voter fraud in the 2016 election."

No kidding.

Gee, yet another bullshit waste of taxpayer money based on the lies that Donald Trump told during his campaign.

And now they want to destroy all evidence of this embarrassing failure.

Next up, burning all the prototypes for the border wall that will never be built.

"It was all golf." Man who golfed with Donald Trump puts to rest the lie about "working vacations."

This is by far the least engaged and laziest president we have ever had.

In some ways that might be a good thing, but we should never let the White House lie to us about how little work he is actually doing.

Because we know.
