Multiple neighborhoods in Jacksonville, Florida were littered with KKK recruiting fliers that make specific threats against black men who they catch “‘making eyes’ at a white girl.” 

As Jacksonville’s First Coast News reports, the city has seen Klan fliers before, but these differ from the norm with their “specific threats.” 

“Notice to all (N-word): Any of you black apes caught ‘making eyes’ at a white girl will be beaten with bats and your mothers won’t get anymo’ bananas-That’s a promise,” the fliers read.

Along with threats against black people, the flier also contained multiple anti-Semitic references, including the phrase “smash Jew communism” and comparisons between Jewish people and Satan.

And Florida was not the only state targeted with KKK propaganda.

The Ku Klux Klan was recruiting this weekend in Eastern North Carolina – at a high school football game. 

The Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan put fliers on vehicles at a Friday night game at Gray’s Creek High School, near Fayetteville, according to the Fayetteville Observer. 

A parent of a student in the Cumberland County Schools reported finding one of the fliers, and the newspaper said a KKK official confirmed to the newspaper that the group distributed them.

The fliers placed on vehicles at the game Friday referenced the removal of Confederate flags and monuments as an “attack on the white race and America,” according to Twitter posts.

Now what do you think has suddenly made these KKK members comfortable enough to recruit so aggressively? 

Oh I think you know.

The Intercept obtains the FBI Counterterrorism Policy Guide which details how the agency ferrets out white supremacists who have infiltrated police departments around the country.

White supremacists and other domestic extremists maintain an active presence in U.S. police departments and other law enforcement agencies. A striking reference to that conclusion, notable for its confidence and the policy prescriptions that accompany it, appears in a classified FBI Counterterrorism Policy Guide from April 2015, obtained by The Intercept. The guide, which details the process by which the FBI enters individuals on a terrorism watchlist, the Known or Suspected Terrorist File, notes that “domestic terrorism investigations focused on militia extremists, white supremacist extremists, and sovereign citizen extremists often have identified active links to law enforcement officers,” and explains in some detail how bureau policies have been crafted to take this infiltration into account. 

Although these right-wing extremists have posed a growing threat for years, federal investigators have been reluctant to publicly address that threat or to point out the movement’s longstanding strategy of infiltrating the law enforcement community. 

No centralized recruitment process or set of national standards exists for the 18,000 law enforcement agencies in the United States, many of which have deep historical connections to racist ideologies. As a result, state and local police as well as sheriff’s departments present ample opportunities for white supremacists and other right-wing extremists looking to expand their power base.

The article also references a 2006 FBI internal intelligence assessment, which we talked about here back in July, that essentially reveals that the white supremacist groups’ have a “historical” interest in “infiltrating law enforcement communities and recruiting law enforcement personnel."

The intercept further reveals a couple of examples, such as a Chicago police detective, identified as a KKK member, referring to a device that delivered electric shocks as a "nigger box,"  while in Cleveland, officials found that a number of police officers had scrawled “racist or Nazi graffiti” throughout their department’s locker rooms.

In Texas, two police officers were fired when it was discovered they were Klansmen. One of them said he had tried to boost the organization’s membership by giving an application to a fellow officer he thought shared his “white, Christian, heterosexual values.”

The assessment also identified the term "ghost skin" which essentially meant a white supremacist who hid their racist tendencies so as to blend in at local police stations, allowing them to recruit like minded officers from within at their leisure.

The article further points out that things became much worse after President Obama was elected, with the white supremacists using the newly invigorated racism bubbling to the surface to recruit a large number of new members, often singling out “disgruntled military veterans” as likely targets for recruitment.

The article also points out that DHS has essentially stopped doing any investigation into white supremacist infiltration of the police, while the police do not screen applicants for membership in hate groups, which left the FBI to do the vast bulk of the work.

And that of course begs the question of whether or not the FBI will still feel compelled to continue these investigations in Trump's America, or if they will now also find themselves targeted by the newly energized white supremacist movement?

Or perhaps an even better question to ask is, have they already been infiltrated?

No one was injured in an accidental shooting near a U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting Center on Thursday. 

An armed volunteer guarding the U.S. Army Recruiting Center accidentally fired a shot just after noon, according to Lancaster police. 

Christopher Reed, 28, of Lancaster, is one of the volunteers who have been guarding the Lancaster recruiting site following the shooting and killing of five service members at an unguarded recruiting center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, last week. 

"I was out here and was talking to a guy who wanted to look at my AR-15," said Reed in an interview with the Eagle-Gazette. "I was trying to clear the weapon and hand it over to him when it went off. I thought it was empty and must have missed it."

Wait, he was just going to hand some dude his gun? Who in the hell does that?

Hey you know how it's really rude to say "I told you so?"

I don't think these morons will be satisfied until one of them accidentally murders an innocent bystander, after which I am positive they will simply blame Obama for it.

Military recruiters to return to Anchorage schools after removal in response to sexual misconduct by National Guard.

Superintendent Ed Graff suspended all military recruiting indefinitely on Oct. 20, pending review of the program and discussion with recruiters on student safety, reporting protocol and other issues. Graff outlined what meetings military recruiters would have to attend and what paperwork they would have to submit before they would be permitted to return to ASD schools. 

"When students come to school each day, they deserve to be safe and treated with respect by everyone in the building, including visitors," Graff said in a statement. 

Investigative files leaked to the media describe accusations of widespread sexual misconduct among officers in the Alaska Army National Guard's Recruiting and Retention Battalion, including incidents involving Anchorage students. 

District spokeswoman Heidi Embley said Wednesday the district has received a stack of paperwork from military recruiters that includes answers to questions probing into their training and management. The guard met with Graff last week in an additional meeting to discuss their procedures, she said. 

Embley said Graff has approved the first group of military recruiters to move forward and talk with school principals. The rest should be approved by next week, she said. She would not specify which branches of the military made up the first group. 

"At this point we have no concerns, it's just having an opportunity to review the paperwork," Embley said. 

Yeah well I have concerns, and I certainly don't think that the recruiters should be returned to high school campuses so quickly, or to be honest at all. 

I have never been comfortable with the recruiters plying kids with pizza and sodas while selling them on a job that could see them fighting for their lives on foreign soil.

And even if these kids return in one piece we have now learned that looks can be deceiving as they may be saddled with emotional issues, permanent brain damage from bomb blasts that did not rend their flesh, and PTSD which could make them unemployable and possibly suicidal.

My advice to parents and their teenagers is to steer well clear of these war pimps, and my advise to the superintendent would be to rid our schools forever of even the possibility that these men may physically or sexually assault any of our kids.

What will Superintendent say the next time this happens? Sorry?

In response to lawsuit the state of Alaska did a huge document dump concerning the Alaska National Guard scandal late yesterday. Can you say "redacted?"

An initial review of Alaska National Guard-related documents released by the state Friday in response to a media lawsuit shows the Parnell administration received more complaints about the guard than have so far been reported. 

But so many words and paragraphs among the 596 pages of emails and attached documents were redacted by state lawyers and the administration that the significance of some of the correspondence was difficult to discern.

The attorney general’s office made the document dump Friday afternoon in response to a court order in a public records lawsuit brought by Alaska Dispatch News and Alaska Public Media. The news organizations sued the state after records requests going back to May were denied or ignored by the governor’s office.

I have only had a little while to go through the e-mails and correspondence, but it is pretty clear that most of what could damage Sean Parnell has been redacted, much like those Sarah Palin e-mails from years ago.

However the one thing that is crystal clear is just how long this problem existed in the Alaska National Guard, and the fact that nothing was really ever done to stop it up until the media started to report on it.

It will take days, if not weeks to go through the entire document dump, and the Alaska Dispatch is asking or help from its readers, so if any of you have the time....

Remember we only have this weekend to find any smoking guns to use against Parnell before Tuesday's election. But hey, no pressure.

Army recruitment lowest since becoming all volunteer force.

The Army began its recruiting year Oct. 1 with fewer signed up for basic training than in any year since it became an all-volunteer service in 1973, a top general said Wednesday.

Gen. William S. Wallace, whose duties as commander of Army Training and Doctrine Command include management of recruiting, told reporters at the Pentagon that the historic dip will make it harder to achieve the full-year recruiting goal — after just barely reaching it in the year ended Sept. 30.

Achieving the Army's recruiting goals — a challenge in the best of times — is not only more difficult now but also of more consequence. That is because the Army has decided that it must grow its active-duty force by several thousand soldiers a year in order to relieve strain on war-weary troops.

The damage done by George Bush to our country and our military will take decades to repair.

I would love to see some of those big mouth war supporting chicken hawks put their asses where their mouths are and join the military. The they can tell us how well it is going from a first hand perspective. Then perhaps they would be willing to join this group.

Parents who love their children are confounding military recruiters. Oh poor baby!

The biggest obstacle for U.S. military recruiters is not finding young Americans willing to enlist in wartime, it's dealing with their parents, according to the Pentagon.

That reality, which has emerged over the past year through polling data and recruiters' experiences throughout the United States, has led some parts of the U.S. military to seek new ways to either convince parents or simply bypass them.

"By pass them"? So the military solution to parents keeping their children from throwing their lives away is to simply to remove them from the equation. Is this another example of promoting family values?

"Hey if your parents won't let you do something stupid, just ignore them!"

Assholes!

And what would make these parents stop their kids from enlisting?

Many parents of high school- and college-aged Americans belong to the Vietnam War generation and some say the experience affected the advice they give their children.

But others say the Iraq war has played just as big a part in their decision to discourage enlistment.

Nora Barrett, a university professor in New Jersey, said her advice to her 18-year-old son and to students is driven by a fear they'll be hurt in Iraq and her opposition to the war overall.

"I'm actually very much against this particular war," Barrett said. "There's nothing that could be said that would convince me that it was a good idea for Tim to go."

So the educated people in these kids live who have a sense of history and are aware of current events are telling them not to participate and the military wants them to be ignored.

Well in my opinion that makes the military anti-family and anti- American.
