Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey
Now I'm sure there are a few of you who know that Levi has taken Tripp shooting as well. However those were smaller caliber weapons that Levi felt Tripp could handle. And from what I have seen he is quite safety cautious.
Of course the other question is why is Tripp in Kentucky (Yes that was confirmed through Twitter) instead of in school where he belongs?
To that I have no answer as my understanding is that Bristol cannot take Tripp out of state without Levi's permission. Unless of course Levi was not told the truth that is.
Did I mention before how many red flags this marriage had raised?
She once again got to meet old poopy pants pedophile Ted Nugent.
She got to hold one of the dumbest trophies ever given. (However it must be noted that it was a dumb trophy that her mother's show Amazing America was not good enough to receive.)
And of course she was instrumental in helping to promote an image that insures that her mother's political aspirations are finished forever.
Yep, all in all it was a big weekend for Bristol.
Made even better I'm sure by the fact that Tripp spent the weekend with his dad and his new baby sister, allowing Bristol to go on a hunt for Lumbersexuals unhindered.
Don't worry men of Las Vegas, they have shots for that.
Palin will explore the "over-commercialism" and "homogenization" of Christmas and argue for a reaffirmation of its religious importance.
The book is scheduled for publication in November.
In a statement, Palin said, "Amidst the fragility of this politically correct era, it is imperative that we stand up for our beliefs before the element of faith in a glorious and traditional holiday like Christmas is marginalized and ignored." She added, though, that the book will be "fun, festive [and] thought-provoking" and "will encourage all to see what is possible when we unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas."
HarperCollins also noted that the book will feature "personal memories and traditions from [Palin's] own Christmases" as well.
OMGD! Who else can hardly wait to hear the mythologized version of Palin's own Christmases?
Personally I am looking forward to the one where she found the fact that the Religious Right was forcing the 20008 Republican nominee to put her on the ticket under her tree.
Or perhaps it will be the Christmas when Sarah concocted a plan to send Levi away to the remote cabin, so that he would not be home when Bristol gave birth to Tripp. (Can't imagine why THAT happened!)
Or perhaps it will be the one where God impregnated her mother, and she was delivered into the world as the second coming of Christ. (This is the one I think her dozen or so remaining followers are most looking forward to having read to them.)
Well any how, I am sure it will be a riveting boo...zzzzzzzz!
Here is my favorite part of this article:
The former governor is said to be weighing multiple offers in the wake of her departure from the cable channel but has not announced anything concrete.
Yeah, she is "weighing multiple offers."
Such as an offer to "go away and never come back."
An offer to "drop dead and die already."
And an offer to "please don't endorse our politicians anymore!"
By the way while we are on the subject of Snowdrift Snooki, it looks like Politic is preparing to draw the ire of the power scooter crowd with their new article entitled "Sarah Palin's next act: Candidate or Kardashian?"
Oh yeah, there are some poorly misspelled, all in capital letters, emails headed their way! Don'tcha know?
Has there EVER been a more inappropriate description of a three and a half year old?
I am usually pretty forgiving of young parents, but after what we saw on Bristol's crappy unreality show and now this, I am just wondering how much longer it will be before Levi rescues this poor little boy.
I mean who refers to their little boy as a "Stud" especially when he is dressed up for Sunday school? It really makes me wonder about just HOW his mother was raised.
Palin accused the Wall Street protesters of reaching the wrong conclusions.
"They feel legitimate indignation about the Wall Street bailouts," she said of the protesters. "Financial institutions behaving recklessly and then we get stuck with the bill. And then three years later many of us are still quite ticked off about it all because we don't have assurance that those who caused the financial collapse in the first place, that they be held accountable, and that it won't happen again.
"They say, 'The Wall Street fat cats got a bailout. I want one, too.' And the correct answer is, no one should get a bailout," she said.
There is a grassroots movement that wants to end "crony capitalists receiving Wall Street bailouts, auto company bailouts, corporate welfare and the influence of big-business lobbyists, she said, "It's called the Tea Party."
Much of Palin's address offered the view of Washington D.C. from Alaska. She concluded that Obama, Eastern elitists, leftist environmentalists, the mainstream media, "some of those socialist groups, ACORN, and the Communist party" all try to impose their views from afar.
Besides the demonstration that she simply does not understand anything about the OWS protesters, this speech was essentially the same old thing that most of us have heard a million times before it seems, and the kind of barely coherent bitching about Obama that is obviously still worth $100,000 to the Republicans in this country. (If you have the stomach you can watch a portion of it here.)
However what is more interesting to me at this point is WHO was allowed to accompany the Grizzled One, and who was forced to stay behind.
Grizzly-hunting Tea Party princess Sarah Palin took some of her family to Walt Disney World Wednesday before speaking to the Republican Party of Florida dinner Thursday night and declared that it was “heavenly.”
“Yesterday, we decided to take a day, our first trip to Disney World. And I was so thrilled. ‘Oh, that’s what people have been talkin’ about all these years.’ It was heavenly,” she told the Republicans. “It was refreshing.”
She brought he daughters Bristol, 21, and Piper, 10, and son Trig, 3, who has Down syndrome.
“It was good to see good people, and a good organization at Disney, accommodating a child like Trig,” she said.
Her husband Todd and other daughter Willow didn’t come, she said, because they were busy hauling a truck of snow blower machines from Minnesota to Alaska. (Now ask yourself WHY would a man married to a multimillionaire miss a visit to the "Happiest place on earth" to drive snow blower machines up from Minnesota when they have a wide selection in the local Fred Meyers right there in Wasilla, Alaska? Or is that the only Alaska sounding excuse that Palin could think of on the spur of the moment?)
Now let me tell you that from an Alaskan's perspective going to Disney World is a pretty big damn deal! Especially, if like Sister Sarah claims, this was the family's first visit.
So what I am saying is that it is NOT a trip which Willow would miss voluntarily, I don't care what kind of teenage "too cool for this shit" attitude she was currently wearing as a defense mechanism against her mother's moosecrap. (I went to Disneyland for the first time when I was seventeen, and it took a month to wipe the smile off of my face.)
So there has to be a good reason why Willow was MIA. And the same goes for Tripp, who should have been at the right age to have the time of his life. (What's wrong Sarah? Is there something about Tripp that does not fit into the script?)
As for Todd, I predicted a while ago that his appearances would be few and far between, as the happy married couple shtick became less and less necessary.
Essentially what we are witnessing is the crumbling of the Palin family facade happening in real time. And no I do not get any pleasure from watching it happen, however I am not at all surprised by it either. The point of almost all of the books written lately is that virtually everything about Sarah Palin is a carefully crafted mythology which is becoming harder, and harder for her to maintain.
Personally I think the strain of trying to hold everything together could be heard in her voice during her speech. It kind of reminded me of her resignation speech back in 2009.
Oh well, it really could not happen to a more deserving lunatic in my opinion. You know what they say, "You reap what you sow, " and lady you have sowed more hate and ugliness than just about anybody in this country and it is about high time you harvested the fruits of that labor.
Here is a composite showing Sarah Palin and her daughter Bristol both at 32 weeks pregnant.
As you can see Bristol is glowing with pride and seemingly bursting with the joy of impending childbirth.
As for Sarah...well...um..well...wait, is she really supposed to be 32 weeks pregnant there?
Yep, she sure is! (As a matter of fact eighteen days from the day that picture was taken she would "give birth," albeit a month or so early, to her fifth child.
Hmmm, well something is just not right here. Perhaps I am wrong about how far along Bristol is in that picture. Let''s check. (Just hit the "click to look inside" icon at the top of Bristol's book to investigate for yourself.)
Nope, according to Bristol's very own book, that is definitely her at 32 weeks.
So here we have a teen mom, pregnant with her very first baby (Actually the jury is still out on that one.), looking at least twice as pregnant as her mother, who is supposedly just as far along with her FIFTH child.
Now I am just a guy, which renders me biologically predisposed to be completely ignorant about "girl stuff," but from what I understand women simply do NOT get smaller with each pregnancy. In fact they tend to get much larger, much faster.
So seeing this comparison shot of Bristol and her mother side by side, certainly adds even more evidence to support the premise that Sarah Palin faked her last pregnancy, and is NOT the biological mother of Trig Paxson Van Palin.
Anybody care to disagree? And if so, please elaborate on your reasoning, because I am DYING to hear what you have left in your arsenal that could be used to defend this woman's version of events.
Update: Since so many people are asking for it, here is the picture of an obviously pregnant Sarah Palin during either her first or second pregnancy.
There is no date on this picture so there is no telling how far along Palin is, but I would venture to guess she is in her eighth or ninth month of pregnancy.
However she certainly did not get that big in just a handful of weeks like she claims she did in her last "pregnancy." And her belly in this photo looks VERY similar to the one that Bristol is sporting in the composite up above.
"Bristol made over $345,000 from being on the show and currently is getting $35,000 for each speaking gig she does," an insider reveals to me. "Yet, all that is going to feel like pocket change if one or two of the big deals she's currently working on actually happens."
Palin family friends tell me there is a major deal in the works for Bristol to be the spokesperson for a middle American fashion brand, as well as a book deal and a multi-million offer to appear on another reality show.
"None of this should come as a surprise," one industry source tells me. "This year's 'Dancing' was up over 23 percent thanks to Bristol. Love her or hate her, you just can't turn away. This is what makes her so valuable. Now is her time to make a lot of money and she knows it."
Do you remember back when Sarah and Bristol ridiculed Levi for chasing fame?
So NOW who's the "fame whore?"
I wonder if the Palin hypocrisy gene is recessive or dominant? I really worry for little Tripp sometimes.
Just based on these pictures I am guessing that any Bristol reality show will have to wait at least three or four months before they start filming. Of course there is at least ONE reality program that she could be a part of right now.
Last night's episode focused on beefing up the Grizzled Mama's credibility as a true Alaskan, a great example of a working mother, and the antithesis of a diva.
And in case you were not picking up on the subtleties of the message you had the omnipresent screechy narration of Sarah herself to drive those points home. In fact Sarah maintains such tight control over her message that hardly anybody else in the family got the chance say much of anything, unless it was a carefully scripted diary segment which unfortunately revealed that Bristol is not the only one in the family with no acting ability.
Speaking of Bristol she is MIA during this episode. A situation which might be explained by the fact that this seems to have been filmed in late June and early July (They are shown celebrating the Fourth of July and Willow's July seventh birthday), which was just about the time that Levi and Bristol were rekindling their lust for each other which, in about a week, would result in an ostentatious announcement in US Weekly on July fourteenth.
This episode was just chock full of "firsts." The first time that Willow has seen SO many fish (But remember Willow you HAVE worked on a fishing boat before, wink wink.), the first time that Track has captained his Dad's boat (Don't worry that he fucked up your trailer Todd, TLC will pay for it!), the first time that Sarah and Piper have met their little Down syndrome cousin Matthew (And for that matter it seems like the first time in a long time that Sarah has interacted with Todd's side of the family at all. I guess she did not feel she needed them until now.), and perhaps the first time in a long time that Track has had to celebrate July Fourth without his rowdy friends. (Sorry guys I can't get hammered with you this time, my mom wants me to help her with her shitty reality show. Well yeah, of course I get paid!)
Some of the segments in the show were so clumsy and obvious that it took me right out of the fantasy that Palin was trying to create.
I mean I am not saying that Todd's grandmother DOESN'T use the customary Eskimo Ulu to cut the heads off of fish, I am just saying that it felt a lot like product placement to these old Alaskan eyes.
However the contrived segment of Track getting his first crack at being the captain of Todd's boat (What a coincidence that such an important chapter in the young man's life is captured for the world to see by a TLC camera crew!), was so phony that it almost played out like a water downed and mumbled version of the phony cat fights on VH1's "Rock of Love." (Now THAT'S an entertaining "reality" show!)
The same can be said for the "celebration" of Willow's birthday without her sister Bristol anywhere in sight. After we all witnessed how they seamlessly worked in tandem to humiliate and shame a boy on Facebook do we REALLY think that Willow would celebrate her 16th birthday without her big sister? Uh, no.
However since Willow got paid to push her ass kissing little sister's face in the a birthday cake perhaps she did not mind having a fake party for the cameras and another real one with her big sis and her more camera shy friends later.
The other obviously scripted portions are the ones attempting to show Sarah comfortably interacting with Trig. She is shown holding him quite a bit, much like she does for her book signings, but there seems to be a lack of connectivity between the two of them. In fact it seems that Trig is much more comfortable with Willow, Piper, Tripp, or Todd, than he is with the woman he is supposed to call "Mommy." Just an observation.
Perhaps the show would not have been so difficult to swallow if everything that "happened" had not been accompanied by the Grizzled Mama's annoying narration, and the crappy mood music playing in the background. Here see for yourself.
See what I mean? The whole freaking show was like that!
Perhaps the most difficult part to accept was Sister Sarah's crocodile tears while talking about Cousin Matthew and how that gives her hope for Trig's future. Of all of the contrived segments THAT one was the hardest to swallow.
I am not sure who in this country turns on a reality show expecting to see "reality," but if anybody was looking for it here they came away very disappointed. Nor can I imagine how this helps Sister Sarah appear any more prepared to sit in the Oval office, but as I said yesterday, I have a chronic case of critical thinking, so I am clearly not part of this program's identified demographic.
P.S. For those confused by my Belmont Stakes reference in the headline, does THIS jog your memory?
Bristol Palin, arguably the most famous teen mother in America, will make her acting debut playing herself on ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," the network announced today.
"I am thrilled to be on this show and to be part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy," Palin said in a statement.
First I would like to say I am very happy that Bristol gets the opportunity to follow Levi's dream of being an actor. (Did anybody else ever hear that Bristol wanted to act before?)
However I am a little puzzled by the show that she chose to make her debut.
According to a statement from ABC Family, the show "deals honestly and directly with the consequences of an unplanned pregnancy in a non-exploitative manner and explores how the core character's relationships with her mother, father, sister and friends are affected. . . . We hope the show encourages teenagers and parents to open up a dialogue about issues important to them. . . ."
I mean Bristol's tale of being a teen mother is hardly typical, now is it?
First her pregnancy gets announced to the national media during a presidential campaign. She then spends several months cohabitating with her boyfriend in Wasilla while her mother is giving speeches across the country. Then she supposedly gives birth to her baby in December but hides from view until February 16, when she suddenly reappears on the Greta Van Susteren show where she, quite truthfully, admits that "abstinence isn't realistic". During the time between giving birth and making her television appearance Bristol kicks her "fiancee" to the curb. Next she appears as an ambassador for Candies, but for some reason seems to do very little to earn the title. (Sound familiar?) And then, just like her mother, she quits and we hear very little from her until recently.
Today Bristol lives in a compound on a dead lake, and allows her mother to sic her attack lawyer on the boy who made her the most famous teen mother in the world in order to wrest custody of their child away from him. Somehow I don't see a lot of teens relating to Bristol's bizarre life.
And I do not want to be cruel but Bristol always appeared to be VERY uncomfortable in front of the camera so I kind of wonder how she will do when she is expected to remember lines of dialogue and emote on command. Still it will be interesting to see if yet another rumor gets confirmed when we see her appear before the camera again.
Hmm I wonder if this will be filmed in the Wasilla studio, or if Bristol has to leave her babies (However many there are!) in order to fly out of state? I know a VERY nice family that would be glad to watch at least one of them for her.
Update: It looks like Bristol is not the only one getting ready for her close up.
This will be Sarah's first time on the show in anything other than a brief skit. I wonder if Leno has the guts to turn to her and ask "So, what about all of those babies?"
Sarah told me she had a great idea: we would keep it a secret—nobody would know that Bristol was pregnant. She told me that once Bristol had the baby she and Todd would adopt him. That way, she said, Bristol and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Sarah kept mentioning this plan. She was nagging—she wouldn’t give up. She would say, “So, are you gonna let me adopt him?” We both kept telling her we were definitely not going to let her adopt the baby. I think Sarah wanted to make Bristol look good, and she didn’t want people to know that her 17-year-old daughter was going to have a kid.
This is the smoking gun.
I have known about this for over a month now and had to sit on it until this Vanity Fair article came out.
Just ask yourself this question, "When would Sarah Palin be most likely to fake a pregnancy and then adopt her daughter's baby? When she was mostly out of the public eye as the Governor of an "off the radar" state like Alaska? Or while standing on a stage in front of millions of possible voters and camera crews?"
Do you really think that she would have been willing to fake her pregnancy while being interviewed by Katie Couric and Matt Lauer?
Once again Levi is giving you a hint of what he is going to say in his book without letting the cat all the way out of the bag. But I can tell you for an absolute certainty that when Sarah sees this it is going to set her drug rehab/post surgery recovery/talk show classes/or whatever, back to square one.
I know this is making your head hurt, believe me it has caused me numerous sleepless nights. But if you think this is confusing just wait until you hear the rest of the story.
I will be gone to a class for much of the day, but when I get back I will try to update this a little and hopefully clarify a few things. I still cannot give out too much, but I might be able to at least steer you in the right direction.
Take some Tylenol, that has helped me more than a few times.
Update: The baby Levi is talking about is Tripp. And yes I do have other information about the circumstances surrounding these comments. I also want you all to know that I have been very involved in trying to get this story out to the media and have spent many hours on the phone and in meetings negotiating with people to finally reveal the truth about this bizarre situation.
I have made some very good progress, and you have seen that on this blog. But there is still a whole lot more to tell that will be coming out in another venue. I promise.
Update 2: Hmm it looks like Meg Stapleton has nothing to say about these allegations. (Scroll down to Update ll.) Interesting no?
Update 3: MSNBC has more where Levi talks about how often the subject of divorce came up. Hint: A LOT!
Update 4: LA Times: Says Johnston: "I couldn't believe it when she would come over to us and sometimes say, playing around, 'No, I don't want the retarded baby -- I want the other one' and pick up Tripp. That was just her, even her kids were used to it."
I wanted so badly to post this part when I did the "Splitsville" story, but I knew that this kind of allegation would have started a shit storm. Little did I know I was in for such a huge one anyhow. I will add this nugget, (I have not seen if it is in the Vanity Fair article yet or not) according to my source Sarah does not pick little Trig up unless there are cameras around to capture it.
