How can this not be wrong?

I have looked at this from a variety of angles and I cannot figure out why it is necesary to send this woman to jail. I, like everyone else, want someone to force Bob Novak to confess as to how he evaded jail time.

You just know Novak flipped like a flapjack the minute anybody mentioned prison.
