After months of debate over science and religion, the Kansas Board of Education has tentatively approved new state science standards that weaken the role evolution plays in teaching about the origin of life.

C'mon, why weaken the only theory that ever gave a scientifically solid framework for the questions that have plagued mankind since the beginning of time? If the damn thing has serious flaws in it don't you think that some Harvard grad wanting to make a name for himself would have worked up a viable alternate theory that did not rely on faith in a questionable text thousands of years old? I mean duh!
