FOX finally cops to being a mouthpiece for Conservatives. Gee and they hid it so well.

Long time Fox employee, Cal Thomas, said, "What you have here now, particularly in the media, is a huge growth in the conservative media -- the blogs, the websites, conservative talk radio, and the magazines -- that this is the whole ball game right here. This is the seventh game in the World Series. This is what this team, this conservative team, has been fighting for for years and the conservative media says we're no longer willing to trust a Republican president. We want to see the evidence."

Minutes later, another Fox employee, Jim Pinkerton, added names to the "conservative team" Thomas referred to: "This is the first media eruption in the new media era. This really..." Moderator Eric Burns interrupted: "What do you mean, exactly, by that?" Pinkerton continued, "Sorry, I misspoke -- Republican eruption. The l990 tax rate pledge for Bush 41 was like that, only now we've got Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, the new media overall covering it in infinitely more detail, with a lot more sympathy to the conservative side than in the past."

This is really not much of a revelation here except that I hate it when people deny what everybody already knows is true. Fox started out being fairly careful not to blatantly cheerlead for Bush, but then as the election heated up they just could not control themselves and it was patently obvious that they were partisan hacks.

But what concern me more then Fox news is the other ringers that are at MSNBC and CNN. We have already outed Daryan Kagan of CNN, who had the bad taste to fuck Rush Limbaugh and then try and pass herself off as above the fray.

And then there is Kyra Phillips from MSNBC who was outed by Nancy Pelosi. These are the real IED's just sitting there ready to go off and attack any Democrat that comes on their program and give a pass to any Republican or conservative.

The other side of this coin is the fact that some journalists are so frightened of being accused of being partisan that they water down there coverage so that it glosses over damaging revelations so as not to upset anybody. You know when Clinton got his blowjob I did not feel that anybody held back. They chased him down like sharks after a bleeding seal. And that is fine as long as that same fervor is displayed when this Presidency screws up. Bush has made more mistakes then any President in my memeory. Big mistakes. Gargantuan mistakes! Where is the press?

I am looking for the day when it will be safe to turn on the television and trust that the news I am being given is really the news and not first strained through somebodies filter and then disseminated to us already packaged for our digestion. I am a big boy tell me the fucking truth!
