Homeland Security to be lead in flu crisis
If the nightmare of an avian flu pandemic emerges from the dark chapters of doomsday scenarios, it will fall to the Department of the Homeland Security, not the medical establishment, to manage the crisis, according to federal documents and interviews with government officials.
Unfucking believable! This administration is completely incapable of learning a lesson from any previous mistakes. Oh right, I forgot, first you have to admit you made a fucking mistake!
This impeachment is really our only hope of ever getting our country out of the hands of these unbelievable incompetents.
It would be hysterical if this were a Mel Brooks movie but it is not! It is my country! It is my children's future! It is my hopes and dreams being dashed to the rocks by the worst administration in American history. I pinch myself constantly but there is no waking up, it just goes on and on.
Where are the Democrats? Where are the Independants? Get out there and make some goddamn noise. The only voice I have heard lately is George Clooney. At this point if he runs for president he has my vote. Clooney in 2008! He can share the ticket with Jon Stewart.

Oh, for pity's sake. it's killing birds, and some people who lived and slept with birds. There is no reason to truly believe that it's going to "jump species" and kill millions. Do you not recall the same ridiculous panic over the "swine flu?" It's not going to to happen, and I would be willing to wager it's a big shuck and jive by this government and its supporting news operations.
