The White House has denied that US President George W. Bush said God told him to invade Iraq and Afghanistan, as a new BBC documentary is expected to reveal.
"That's absurd. He's never made such comments," White House spokesman Scott McClellan said Thursday.
Go ahead deny everything bitches! It is too late! He said it, they reported it, and now we know it!
Look, we already knew he talked to God. We just hoped that he wasn't loopy enough to think that God answered him. But he believes that he does!
The President of the United States of America is insane! How is that for a headline. There is no way that this administration can put the genie back in the bottle. The whole world will now know that this war in Iraq is indeed a religious battle and that George Bush believes that he is on the side of the righteous. He believes that God has chosen him to wage this battle on Muslims.
There have been multiple hints along the way. When they first started this conflict the Neo-cons called it a "Crusade". Bush constantly refers to this enemy as "evil". He also talks about sacrificing for a higher calling. This is the language of religious fanatics.
The American people are caught between two extremes of religious fanaticism. Fundamentalist muslims on the one hand, and our own extremist evangelicals on the other.
This is something that everyday Americans need to be informed about. Are you willing to sacrifice your children to fight in this "Holy War"? Are you?
