Jealous that Bin Laden is getting all of the attention, al-Zawahiri releases a tape of one of his poetry readings.

Friday's tape makes no reference to dates, so it is unknown when al-Zawahiri recorded it.

Sounds like somebody doesn't want somebody to know that somebody is dead.

He dedicated his message to the "mujahedeen brothers in Palestine, Iraq and Chechnya, and to the lions who are targeting the crusaders in Afghanistan in its villages and mountains."

"I would like to give a shout out to my peeps who are keeping it real in the battle with the great Satan, and another "you go girl" to my bitches in Iraq."

It definitely seems interesting that after such a long silence we get two messages from both Bin Laden and then his second in command right after the attack in Pakistan. It certainly gets one to start wondering if maybe we actually managed to kill someone of some importance.
