As anxiety spread in Congress on Wednesday over soaring oil prices, lawmakers in both parties said they were ready to take a tough look at oil and gas incentives they passed as recently as eight months ago.
Gee ya think? Should we stop providing incentives for companies making the largest profits in American history? This demonstrates without equivocation that the oil companies have our government firmly in their back pocket.
My solution is to get everybody who ever wrote a piece of legislation designed to line the pockets of these monster corporations the hell out of Congress! And yes I am aware that our own Uncle Ted Stevens may be the worst offender of all. Trust me that is a sacrifice I am more then willing to make.
Oh, and kick that oil whoring President and his Dick out of office as well. There, now I feel a little better.
