If we hadn't spent 250 billion dollars on the Iraq war what else could we have bought for that much money?

Here are my favorite examples.

Full ride 4-year college scholarships for 7,260,000 students

Think of how beneficial that would be to our country. Seven million new college graduates ready to energize our country with their fresh ideas and enthusiasm. But instead we are training thousands of our college age children to die in this illegal war.

Give every adult man and woman in Iraq 16,000 dollars and a plane ticket to the United States

Now don't you think that this would have been much more attractive then blowing up their homes, killling their relatives, and shutting off their power for months on end?

And our homeland security issues are completely solved! Besides these would be the coolest statues ever! Laser beams are awesome!

And you know the really frustrating part? None of these ideas are anymore ridiculous then the idea that we could blow a country to shit and then force the citizens to embrace our political system. And besides I would really love one of those statues!
