FOX News is responsible for Bush being our President. As if I needed another reason to hate them.

We report. You decide. Does President Bush owe his controversial win in 2000 to Fox cable television news?

Yes, suggest data collected by two economists who found that the growth of the Fox cable news network in the late 1990s may have significantly boosted the Republican Party's share of the vote in the 2000 election and delivered Florida to Bush.

"Our estimates imply that Fox News convinced 3 to 8 percent of its audience to shift its voting behavior towards the Republican Party, a sizable media persuasion effect," said Stefano DellaVigna of the University of California at Berkely and Ethan Kaplan of Stockholm University.

In Florida alone, they estimate, the Fox effect may have produced more than 10,000 additional votes for Bush -- clearly a decisive factor in a state he carried by fewer than 600 votes.

No it isn't too harsh and how dare you challenge me like that! I have half a mind to throw you off of this site!

No hating FOX News is the most patriotic thing that I ever do. FOX News did such a good job of accusing the MSM of having a liberal bias that now we get almost all of our news with a distinctly conservative bent. And I hate that!

Our major news gatherers became so sensitive to being accused of being too liberal that they let this administration declare war on another country without asking the questions that so desperately needed to be asked. The MSM became so timid that they just started reporting the White House talking points, rather then to do any real investigative reporting until there were such glaring examples of incompetence that bloggers and everyday Americans started asking where the reporters had all gone!

If the MSM had been doing their job I would never have felt the need to start this website as a form of primal scream therapy to vent my frustrations and to try and get the information out that the news agencies had been too cowardly to cover. FOX News is also indirectly responsible for what you are reading right now.

This is the fault of FOX News and for all of that they need to be thrown off of the airwaves until they are ready to provide that "fair and balanced" reporting that they have lied about for all of these years.

Until then I will continue to hate them, with every patriotic bone in my body!
