Valerie Plame files suit against Cheney, Libby, and Rove. Oh litigation goodness is on the horizon!

The CIA officer whose identity was leaked to reporters sued Vice President Dick Cheney, his former top aide and presidential adviser Karl Rove on Thursday, accusing them and other White House officials of conspiring to destroy her career.

In a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court, Valerie Plame and her husband, Joseph Wilson, a former U.S. ambassador, accused Cheney, Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby of revealing Plame's CIA identity in seeking revenge against Wilson for criticizing the Bush administration's motives in Iraq.

I just watched Jeffery Toobin on CNN act as if this is a total waste of time since he does not believe that Ms. Plame-Wilson can receive financial compensation in this case. Jefferey Toobin is an idiot!

This has nothing to do with getting paid. This is about a little thing called "justice". Cheney, Libby, and Rove have conducted themselves as if they believe themselves above the law. They need to be held accountable for their actions. Libby may or may not have to serve time for lying to the special prosecutor, but Rove and Cheney have remained virtually unscathed by this criminal activity.

Just think of how satisfying it will be to see Karl Rove being grilled by Wilson's attorney about who told who what, and when they told them. And wouldn't you love to see Cheney being cross examined on the stand? I cannot believe I am about to say this, but it might be better then sex.

(And by the way, when did Valerie get so hot! Damn, I want a little undercovert action myself!)
