Kansas schoolchildren might be getting the chance to learn science rather then superstition.

The upcoming school board election might get rid of the backward thinking morons that changed the science curriculum to allow the teaching of "intelligent design".

If that happens then maybe Kansas can stop being the punching bag for smart people.

Here is what an actual science teacher in Kansas had to say:

"The whole debate about evolution in Kansas hurts the state's image," said Bob Beatty, a professor of political science at Washburn University. "You get cartoons in newspapers across the world, and I've seen them, where they have someone looking like a caveman and it says 'Kansas' on them."

Well okay Kansas, this is your chance to fix these perceptions.
