The phrase "he is a good Christian" always bothered me. Here is a "good Christian" caught with his child porn collection.

A married vicar hooked on filth claimed yesterday he downloaded child porn by mistake.

Richard Thomas, who was warned by a judge he could face jail, was caught with 119 images of children on his home computer.

They carried titles such as "hotf***14-year-old" and "youngkidboys". Some were vilely indecent.

Thomas, a 56-year-old dad and former key adviser to the Bishop of Oxford, admitted outside court that he was addicted to adult porn.

There is no title that you can have that should make others assume that you are more moral then anybody else. There are bad people in all groups. There are bad cops, bad priests, bad Democrats, bad teachers, bad bloggers, bad nuns, and many, many other examples.

By contrast we should be aware that there are good Muslims, good atheists, good Iranians, good Satanists, good drug users, and good (I can't believe I am typing this) Republicans.

There are ethical and moral people in every group of people, and they probably have a few not so good ones as well. The idea that you can have a belief system or political ideology that makes you morally superior to another belief system or political ideology is just ridiculous. Only an ignorant person relies on labels to judge the people around them.

Try thinking for yourself, it can hurt at first but you will soon find yourself forming your own opinions in no time.
