Hillary claims she was cute in high school, McCain says he used to look like a male model, and John Edwards reminds everybody he is good looking NOW!

Sen. Hillary Clinton doesn't really want to reduce her reelection campaign to a debate on her looks.

But if you must know, the former First Lady thinks she was a cutie in high school.

The odd discussion about her appearance came after her long-shot opponent, Republican John Spencer, suggested to the Daily News that Clinton had undergone "millions of dollars" in plastic surgery, and pointed out she used to be much less attractive.

"You ever see a picture of her back then? Whew," he told Daily News columnist Ben Smith during a plane ride to Rochester last Friday. "I don't know why Bill married her."

Million of dollars of plastic surgery? What kind of plastic surgery costs millions of dollars? Even Michael Jackson did not spend that much to be turned into white woman!

And no offense to Hillary, but if she paid anywhere near that amount in surgery costs she has the makings of an airtight malpractice case.

And looking at her high school picture I have to say that I would probably have hit that. I have always had a thing for smart women who are domineering and will forgive a little philandering.

I have to say that it is patently ridiculous for us to spend any time talking about the physical appearance of any of our future presidential candidates. This is not a beauty contest. It is a contest to pick the most qualified person to salvage what is left of our country and bring it back to its former glory.

Because if it is all about the looks then you cannot beat an Edwards/Obama ticket! Those two hunks of beefcake are delicious!
