MSNBC poll says 87% of respondents think that there is "plenty to justify" impeaching Bush.

An MSNBC online poll shows that the overwhelming majority of its participating voters believe President Bush should be impeached.

Of nearly 360,000 people who had voted in the "unscientific" poll by 9:30PM Eastern on Friday evening, 87 percent responded "Yes."

Despite public clamor in some sectors for an investigation of controversial actions by President Bush and his administration, which could potentially lead to articles of impeachment, key players in the newly empowered Democratic majority are playing down such calls.

I know that the Democrats promised not to attempt to impeach Bush, and that they want to focus on fixing some of the things that this President fucked up, but we all know that the guy needs to be impeached!

If Clinton can be impeached for lying about a blowjob then this guy simply has to be impeached for all of the horrible things he has done.

He started a damn war for no good reason! He lied to us repeatedly! He used our nation's fear after 9-11 to finish a conflict that he believed his father should have finished the first time.

He almost single handedly destroyed our credibility around the world.

History needs to record that Americans do not stand for this kind of abuse of power from their executives. Americans punish those that break our laws and take advantage of our moments of weakness. There are future Presidents who will need the example that this will set to ensure that they do not overstep their constitutional limitations.

We owe it to our children's children to make an example of George W. Bush today.

It is the patriotic thing to do.
