The military is filling its ranks with criminals and the mentally handicapped, but if you pose nude or happen to be gay, there is no place for you.

An Air Force drill sergeant and former Iowa National Guard member who posed nude for Playboy magazine has been removed from active duty, she and the Air Force said

Wednesday. Michelle Manhart, who appeared in a six-page spread in Playboy's February issue, said she got word Friday that she was removed from "extended active duty" and was also told that she was demoted from staff sergeant to senior airman.
What is wrong with our country that it fears sexuality so damn much?
I mean if I had my choice I would certainly rather stand shoulder to shoulder with gay man, or woman who once posed nude, then to have an armed man with bi-polar disorder listening to the voices in his head giving me the eye.
I guess that some men might have been distracted by having Ms. Manhart working with them, after having seen her nude spread in Playboy. But let's face it, she is beautiful. They probably would have been distracted anyhow.
If she is a good soldier that should be all that counts.
