Three year olds are being taught philosophy. Well now I feel all stupid.

Children as young as three could be taught philosophy in an effort to improve their IQs and boost their self-confidence.

Nursery pupils will spend part of their days discussing ethics, existence and the roots of knowledge, if a Scottish council gets funding to extend a successful primary school programme.

The influence of philosophers such as Rene Descartes could extend into nurseries
But the young thinkers will not be asked to memorise the theories of Descartes or get to grips with post-modernism.

Teachers will use pictures and stories to stimulate debate, rather than imparting theories or the views of particular philosophers.

Well that is just cheating! I had to read Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil", Kant's "Critique of Pure Reason", and Descartes "Meditations on First Philosophy". And those books are long!

If I had been allowed to use pictures I would have received an A+++.

But noooo, all I got was an A! Kids just have it so easy these days.
