A defiant President Bush warned Democrats Tuesday to accept his offer to have top aides testify about the firings of federal prosecutors only privately and not under oath or risk a constitutional showdown from which he would not back down.
Democrats' response to his proposal was swift and firm: They said they would start authorizing subpoenas as soon as Wednesday for the White House aides.
You can almost see these guys sweating can't you?
The Democrats are never going to give the President slack on this, nor should they! These guys have manipulated the Senate, the Congress, and the American people. We want this administration under oath and being forced to talk about how corrupt they are.
This attorney thing may seem like small potatoes, but if it is the method by which we get these bozos under oath it will go down in history, along with the break in at the Watergate hotel, as the final straw that brought down a unethical Presidency.
No way we let these guys off the hook on this thing!
