I read this article about Conservapedia and thought it sounded interesting. Oh this site is going to have me giggling for months to come!

Check out their definition for Evolution.

The theory of evolution posits a process of self-transformation from simple life forms to more complex life forms, which has never been observed or duplicated in a laboratory.

Perhaps instead of trying to recreate evolution in a laboratory it would help to simply spend your days watching the butterflies fluttering by.

I love how they stack the deck to insinuate that the truly smart people discount evolution.

None of the greatest intellectuals and scientists in history, from Archimedes to Aristotle to St. Augustine to Francis Bacon to Isaac Newton to Lord Kelvin ever proposed or accepted an evolutionary process for a species to transform into a more complex version.

Gee now why didn't these smart people buy into evolution? Could it be because they were not alive when Darwin wrote "Origin of the Species"? (Archimedes 287 BC to 212 BC, Aristotle 384 BC to 322 BC, St. Augustine ? AD to 604 AD, Francis Bacon 1561 to 1626, Isaac Newton 1643 to 1727, Origin of the Species published in 1859, only Lord Kelvin could have read the book since he did not die until 1907. Lord Kevlin was also noted for saying that "Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible" and "Radio has no future" so clearly he was a man whose opinions on areas outside of his expertise must be respected.)

Yep I am going to enjoy playing around on this site!

Gotta go, I am going to go look up "atheist". Hee hee hee.
