I did not know that Markos was gong to be on and was pleasantly surprised.
Markos did very well even though he was sitting next to the insanely photogenic Harold Ford, who comes across as a very moderate Democrat (or Republican lite if you will).
David Gregory was sitting in for Tim Russert, and at one time put up a poll suggesting that the Democrats were becoming more liberal. Harold Ford denied this was true, but Markos jumped all over it as an absolute. I have to agree with Markos on that one.
All in all I thought Markos did very well, and even though he does not need my support, I am going to visit his site and give him some props for a job well done.
I really like seeing that some of us in this odd little clique are getting some face time on powerful mainstream shows like Meet the Press. The more that happens, and if we are able to comport ourselves as well as Markos did, the more the world sees us as normal well informed activists and not crazy conspiracy theorists. (And yes I know that my recent comments about the bombing of the twin towers puts me awfully close to that camp lately.)
