Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey
That kind of well articulated anger gives me hope ... hope that one day we can all lose the shackles of misery and mind-shrinking dogma that feeds on the schizophrenic nature of mankind. We still have superstitions about walking on sidewalk cracks and saying gezuntheit and knocking on wood, but at least they are fairly harmless. Not so with the religious crowd, who feed on death while claiming life is sacred. I think if more people studied the concept of myths and legends, we could all read something like the bible in a new light, like an enjoyable light fantasy drama ... a diverting glimpse into mankind's ancient pre-scientific beliefs. ya think?
What a great piece. Thanks for the link.
