Hillary is crying again!
Are you serious? Isn't this the third time she has been caught tearing up?
This is starting to feel like when the Bush administration claims there is yet another terror alert right before an election.
Look, I was not one of those who automatically assumed that Hillary was faking it the first time it happened. I am not one of those men who think the girl got pregnant on purpse, or that the wife only pretends to need her husband to open that pickle jar, or that your woman is crying just to win the argument.
But I have had actual conversations with women who say that they were on the fence about Hillary UNTIL THEY SAW HER CRY! And it apparently helped her in the polls.
So then after it happened once, it has happened two more times! Each time has been caught on camera, and each time has been slavishly reported by the media.
But here is the question that needs to be in the back of everybody's mind.
When have you seen, or even heard, of Hillary Clinton crying before she started running for President? Did she cry at the devastation left by Katrina? Did she cry when she heard that another one of our brave soldiers had lost his life in Iraq? Did she even cry when she found out her husband was getting orally pleasured by another woman?
Well if she did nobody saw it. And to be truthful I doubt it happened. Hillary is not a crier. But she is a very cagey politician. She knew the crying worked once. It may even have worked twice. But she made a mistake. It will not work anymore.
We are done being fooled by the this pathetic attempt to manipulate our emotions.
OMG, you're right, I don't ever remember seeing her tear-up before, ever, and she's endured some pretty upsetting events! There is one possibility you did not mention. I hate to even bring it up, but as a menopausal woman myself, I keep wondering if her hormones need some adjustment? Worse, because I have a suspicious mind, I wouldn't put it beyond "someone" to mess with her HRT seeing the great traction she acheived with it the first time. Let me assure you that hormonal imbalance can cause unexpectedly emotional responses, even tears. You are lucky if you haven't had to deal someone going through it -- yet! But still, in the end, I don't believe Hillary is out of control of her emotions. I think you're right. She's a fast learner, in complete control.
ReplyDeleteOh I have indeed dealt with menopausal women. Many of the ladies that I work with are at that age. But they don't tear up at the drop of a hat! I mean they seem to be far more emotionally stable then the younger women in my workplace.
ReplyDeleteThough they do complain about hot flashes quite often. But since it is so cold up here right now they are not really complaining too much about it currently.
Hah! Trust hot-flashing women to come up something good about all that snow! I bet they spend all their breaks outside, too. You lucky man to have those women of a certain age to work with. I bet all the thermostats have lock-boxes on them ...
ReplyDeleteI know you are right about the "drop of the hat thing". To me, that speaks loudly about Hillary's ability to control her emotions for maximum effect.
