Dennis Kucinich, Keith Olbermann, and the impeachment of George W. Bush.

In all of American history there has never been a more compelling case for impeachment. And yet our lawmakers do next to nothing about it.

If not for the doomed attempt by Kucinich the word "impeachment" would not even be uttered on the floor of Congress when it should, in fact, be job one for that august body.

As a parent I find it very difficult to explain to my children why the President can break so many laws and not be held accountable.

  1. I am proud of Kucinich and Wexler...and ashamed of the rest of them....

  3. I cut cable because of all the crap on it for kids (they're targeted with marketing at every turn) but I do so miss my Keith fix. I know I can always go to his site but I'm always 'behind' anyway.. like you, I have kids and blogging regularly can be difficult to do sometimes..
anyhow.. like you, if there's nothing one can do than at least your blogging can be some sorta 'up yours I know what you're up to'. Totally ineffective but good therapy. And of course who doesn't like to have their opinion shared and heard by even a few..
you'll have to pass on your (political) values to your kids as so much in MSM is absolutely horrendous. I'm still amazed at times that Keith can actually say what he says and still get away with it. Why is he the only one (ok, we do have Jon Stewart albeit different tack) in this whole country?? sad sad..
