Not just NO, but HELL NO!

Hillary Rodham Clinton has told congressional colleagues she would be open to becoming Barack Obama's vice presidential nominee, saying she would consider it if it would help Democrats win the White House.

Clinton, a New York senator, made the comment on a conference call with other New York lawmakers Tuesday, according a participant on the call.

The senator's remarks came in response to a question from Democratic Rep. Nydia Velazquez who said she believed the best way for Obama to win over key voting blocs, including Hispanics, would be for him to choose Clinton as his running mate.

"I am open to it," Clinton replied, if it would help the party's prospects in November.

Barack does not need Hillary.

Her supporters will make all kinds of threats and tell him that he cannot win if they pull their support, but that is a pile of steaming shit!

Obama is going to bring ALL kinds of new voters to he side of the Democrats. They will easily outnumber the bitter middle aged women who simply cannot let go of the idea of Hillary going to the White House.

And they can go vote for McCain if they want to as well, trust me he will need the support.

McCain is going to get beaten like a rented mule and Barack will only need his intellect, his integrity, and his position on the Iraq war to do it.

Update: I just heard on MSNBC that the Clinton campaign wants Obama to at least ASK Hillary to be V.P., and the Obama campaign saying that they MIGHT if they had some assurance that she would turn it down.

My advice to the Obama campaign is to ABSOLUTELY NOT MAKE THIS OFFER!!!

Is it only me who thinks she might be willing to trick him into asking, with a promise not to accept, only to have her snatch it up and then announce that she is on the ticket with him? Do not trust her!

  2. I feel I should speak out for the bitter middle-aged women of which I should be one, but I am too happy about having Obama officially declared the presumptive nominee to say more than: after the initial wave of bitterness passes, if any Hill supporters actually follow-through on their threat to vote McCain, then they weren't really democrats in the first place. There is no ethical honor in scorched earth. Plus I hold dear in my heart the idea that once they get beyond the regret, they will join in the fight against McC & maybe even become enthusiastic Obama supporters.
