Democrat Barack Obama piled up nearly eight million fundraising dollars in a single lucrative night, as anticipation built over his looming choice of White House running mate.
"I will win, don't worry about that," Obama told a crowd of 1,300 people at a fundraiser Sunday night in California, one of three back-to-back events which netted a staggering 7.8 million dollars, his campaign said.
I think that the ability to raise almost eight million dollars in a single night is a pretty good indication of your chances in an election.
OK, so Obama is a money-printing machine.
ReplyDeleteNow, can Obama find it in himself to stop praising McCain?
This is getting serious. He is unable to mention McCain by name without the preamble:
"I respect John McCain's military record."
Or,
"John McCain is a hero."
Really? I thought you wanted to defeat him? Stop it, Obama, just stop it trying to help McCain win the election.
Good, now SPEND the Freaking money on hard hitting advertising
