More ethics problems for Sarah Palin as Trooper Union files charges.

The union representing state Trooper Mike Wooten has filed an ethics complaint against Gov. Sarah Palin and members of her administration charging a possible unlawful breach of Wooten's confidential personnel and workers' compensation files.

It's the latest twist in what has become the subject of global media scrutiny -- whether Palin, the newly minted Republican vice presidential candidate, abused her powers as governor to try to drive her former brother-in-law out of the trooper ranks.

Palin and her family have accused Wooten, who was involved in a messy divorce with the governor's sister, of a variety of misdeeds such as threatening her family and drinking while driving his patrol car. Palin insists she didn't use the trooper's continued employment as an excuse to fire a member of her cabinet, Walt Monegan, who supervised the troopers as commissioner of public safety.

Yes she did. And everybody up here knows it.

Here is my favorite part of the article:

John Cyr, executive director of the Public Safety Employees Association, said Thursday a British media organization has offered Wooten $30,000 for an interview.

"Mike Wooten is not accepting those offers," Cyr said.

Oh but what if he changes his mind? Don't we all know that Trooper Wooten has some fascinating things to reveal about Sarah Palin and her family?

    Wow. Great work, Gryphen.

Of course the neocons are spinning this as Palin being a savior for her sister & saving her from an abusive spouse, furthering their ridiculous claims that Palin is a strong feminist, when we all know how much she hates her fellow women.

Keep it up, we all need the TRUTH to get out there!!

  2. Hard to protect the sister when they were already separated and Wooten was dating somebody else.

The truth is that this guy was a drunkard (which in Alaska means regular guy), an abusive prick, and he very possibly abused his authority on a number of occasions. So we can all agree that he is a bad guy.

But the Palin family did not have a problem with any of that until, he and the sister started getting into a messy divorce.

Abuse, alcoholism, and being a bully, "good" while in the Palin family.

Abuse, alcoholism, and being a bully "bad" when out of the Palin family.

    Is everybody clear now?
