This may in fact go down in history as the best week of the Daily Show EVER!

The side by side video comparison that the Daily Show has become famous for may be side splittingly funny but they are also deeply damaging to the spin that Republicans have been attempting to pull off. For this ALL of us owe Jon Stewart and his writers an enormous debt of gratitude.



I don't know about everybody else but I don't think that John McCain will ever set foot on the Daily Show set again. That is too bad because it would be HUGE if he did.



Cue the John Mellencamp music for this segment. I think most of us know that "small town values" translates into sexism, religious intolerance, racism, and hypocrisy.

It is too bad this week is over because it was a blast! But to be honest the Daily Show had some stiff competition from all of the Sarah Palin scandals which emerged. Because those my friends, were comedy gold!
