Why is "Joe the Plumber" more important then everybody else in the country?
Well all I have to add is that "Gryphen the blogger" does not give two shits about what "Joe the Plumber" has to say about ANYTHING!
Joe is clearly in the McCain camp and there was nothing that Obama could say to change his mind.
Update: Apparently this Joe the Plumber guy voted Republican in the last election, and therefore is NOT an Independent. He also does not make more then $250,000 which means Obama's tax plan would save him more money then McCain's would. And by the way Joe is so against paying more taxes that he had a lien placed against him for not paying the ones he owed in the past. So are tax-evading, unlicensed plumbers, who misrepresent their income McCain's demographic? How many of those can there be in the country?

Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan. The now retired elder Wurzelbacher is also a major contributor to Republican causes giving well over $10,000 in the last few years.
ReplyDeleteNow I guess we know why Joe is telling the press that Obama is a "socialist" and that the Obama tax plan "infuriated" him. After all, it would hit families like the Keatings and their minions the hardest.
Not to mention that Obama's economic-recovery plan would put the crimps on influence peddlers like McCain's old friends, the Keating Five.
But he sure made for a good one-day story.
Joe the plumber is living in Fantasy land. What an asshole.
ReplyDeleteAnother Republican stunt
Did any one else notice McCain's idea of having veterans become teachers with no education or training before hand?
ReplyDeletewas that not off the wall or what? Free college tuition and trianing for vets great - have them trained as teachers awesome - but zip before hand very bad idea
I am positive that whole Joe the Plumber thing was set up from the start - just to give McCain another talking point.
Joe the Plumber is Sarah Palin's perfect Joe Six-Pack. Doesn't read and takes the part line at all times.

ReplyDeleteHere is where it talks about Joe being a relative of Charles Keating son-in-law. Mccain is probably now scared he used Joe the plumber phrase 15 times during the debate.........Joe=Repub plant and a bad one at that being caught so soon
Just another guy who doesn't want to pay taxes but wants all the luxuries that come with paying taxes like clean water to drink, and shower in, sewage treatment plants, paved roads, street lights, police, fire, medical facilities, and schools.
ReplyDeleteHere is my suggestion, go live in a third world country, haul your water from a dirty river to your stick hut and boil it before you drink it, use a hole in the ground as a toilet, walk along dirty dusty roads, use your local witch doctor to cure what ails you and good luck finding daily food to eat. People who complain about taxes and don't pay them need to try living without all their "services" and see how long they last.
