Rachel Maddow talks about John McCain's "Palin problem".

It just so happens that among my many talents is an ability to read the minds of crusty old politicians. And what John McCain was thinking when he said "OR!".

He was thinking "This flaky bitch could actually be President of these United States someday, and it is ALL MY FAULT!" But then he remembered how much he liked those little butterscotch candies he has in his pocket and he calmed down.

By the way Lawrence O'Donnell makes some very good points about her actual chances of ever becoming the President. He definitely talked me down.
