"He'll be the first one to receive it for 10 years," said Malcolm Wiley, Secret Service spokesman. Congress changed the law in the 1990s so that any president elected after Jan. 1, 1997, and his or her spouse will receive the federal protection for only 10 years.
Don't let them fool you. The reason that the Secret Service will no longer protect Bush in ten years is because they simply don't like the little asshole.
Hey in my opinion, as evidenced by the fact that TWO Iraqi shoes almost smacked Georgie in his fat head, the Secret Service has probably already punched out early.
Could YOU imagine having to protect George Bush after learning all of the facts concerning the damage he has done to your country?
But lets face it NOBODY wants to hurt George Bush. The bad guys only want to kill people who are inspirational, or iconic, or whose ideas are making the country a better place. Does any of that sound like our current lame duck President?

ReplyDeleteHow cold is it in Alaska today?
Will they still protect him if he goes to jail for War Crimes????
ReplyDeleteIt is -3 notalib, thanks for asking!
ReplyDeleteNo Annette I think if the little shrub goes to prison he will have to fight it out in the showers all by himself. I bet he loses that swagger of his double quick.
hmmm negative 3...that is tropical for you right ???
ReplyDeleteso Georgie will only get a smidge of the paranoid protection he is used to ? and the poor dallas hood he is moving to.....they must be so pissed he is coming there....
but yeah- Annette asked my question....he won't need the SS when he gets to Gitmo right ???
I can't help it, I am still LMAO at the shoe throwing.
ReplyDeleteAnd smiling at the thought of Dubya fighting it out by himself in the prison showers.
You could see just how pleased the Secret Service was with him at the Olympics in China, when they had to support his drunk butt to the grandstands and try to keep him from groping the women's volleyball team - those guys see a lot, but they looked pretty disgusted with his behavior.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad his protection will be limited, its getting really expensive protecting all the ex-presidents who are still around.
Just remember everyone the messiah will no longer have protection after 2021, bet you all are going to have a different tune then.
ReplyDeleteWell that is if America survives as a country the next 4 years.
if you actually did any research before making your blogging rants public you would actually know that the Secret Service loves the Bush family -- the 10 year protection post-term was passed in Congress back in '97 before bush was even president. so please, keep your ignorance in alaska -- your blogs are neither informative nor witty in any manner whatsoever...
