I am glad these traitorous leaders of the Republican Party appointed this Black racist, affirmative action advocate to the head of the Republican party because this will lead to a huge revolt among the Republican base. As a former Republican official, I can tell you that millions of rank-and-file Republicans are mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore! We will either take the Republican Party back over the next four years or we will say, “To Hell With the Republican Party!” And we will take 90 percent of Republicans with us into a New Party that will take its current place!
I think the insanity of nominating “Mr. Amnesty” John McCain and now this Black racist — will lead to insurgency in the Republican ranks, and a lot of dissidents getting elected in Republican Party primaries around the country. This will result over the next four years a real move by millions of Republicans to take the party back to the populist issues that are not only right but can win for the Republican Party. We must end affirmative action, protect our gun rights and all our constitutional rights, have a moratorium on immigration, we must have protectionism, yes I said protect American businesses and their workers from NAFTA and GATT and the lie of free trade, and we must have America First, not foreign interventionism. Our boys should be home protecting the American borders a not being murdered on the borders of Iraq or Afghanistan. The time as come for Republican Party to stand up to Obama and defend American heritage, rights, and freedom!
Now at least that is a Republican party member making an honest statement!
Let's face it, MUCH of he Republican party is filled with racists just like David Duke who are too cagey or political savvy to ever say anything like this out loud, but who are in complete agreement with the sentiment.
The selection of Michale Steele, which the Republican strategists believed would offset Obama's leadership of the Democrats, will only serve to splinter the Republican party even further.
Don't believe me? Well just let Mr. Duke make my point for me:

ReplyDeleteI attended a rally/ campain dinner with Mr. David Duke. He is not the crazy man portrayed by the liberal media. He is an honest down to Earth person who believes the Republicans can help retake the government by what ever means necessary. Such as protests and people taking to the street to claim what is rightfully theirs. That'll be an interesting day.

The very next day after the inauguration, Newt PAC was calling me to sign a petition for abolishing the "death tax" and having a "flat tax" I told them PO going to change the tax code. Big silence. The next day they call again, "aren't I outraged how bush is being treated?"

ReplyDeleteAnd , no, I do not believe all Republicans are racist, since my brother and sister-in-law and many of my friends and neighbors are Republican, and certainly are not racist. Misguided, maybe, but NOT racist. I think Michael Steele was a great choice for the RNC, but he will not bring untiy to your party, just division. It is happening already. He is too smart, too well educated (Johns Hopkins & Georgetown Law School), pro-choice, and anti death penalty. The rabid right will chew him up and spit him out. The last minority that had that job, Mel Martinez, quit after a year.

Sarah Palin said it herself last week...she is relying on "donations" to fund her travel for non state related business. She can't afford to pay for that out of pocket.That is straight up welfare right there...taking money and spending it on herself...not a political campaign, not advertising, just travel for her and the rest of the hillbilly crew.
There was a show on the KKK on the History channel awhile back and they had David Duke on it. What makes him so insidious, is that he is college educated. Most of the people in the KKK were poor whites that had little chance of improving their lot in life, and were really resentful of blacks, as at least in the past they could say, we're not as bad as them at least. It's interesting though how the rich whites in the south always played the poor people against each other, to control the state governments. When the poor people realized what the game was, then there was real change. Often times that happened in northern cities like Detroit and Chicago where the poor from the south traveled for work. I read a book by Studs Terkel recently that described this. He interviewed a man who was a former KKK, and a black woman who was an activist, and how they actually joined forces to help change the lot of both poor whites and blacks. This recent pissing match that the Republicans have against the Democrats on getting the economy working for all Americans, is just a continuation of what rich white people have always done. Those of us that don't have golden parachutes, and aren't trust fund babies need to keep calling them on it, and not give up. The Republican party will try to be more populist by having some lap dog like Palin, or some other hillbilly, but they will drop them very quickly as they don't want white trash in their party. This is the pluotcrat who own everything party that was on display yesterday on Super Bowl Sunday. If the Palins can't see this for what it is, then to bad...
