I thought that when I went I would have fodder for this great post about it sometime today.
But no. I simply will not revisit what was a very painful, and potentially scarring speech by Sarah Palin, and a stomach churning presentation by Michael Reagan, that had a higher lie to word ratio than even a Dick Cheney interview.
But if you must know what happened I direct you to Mudflats, where AKM has manage to hold back her bile long enough to transcribe the ENTIRE Palin speech, and Shannyn Moore's site, where my fellow blogger does an admirable job of giving an overview of this painfully pathetic and intellectual crippling presentation.
People say that men are tougher then woman, but I tip my hat to both AKM and Shannyn who demonstrated far more resilience than I was able to muster.
Instead I offer for your enjoyment this absolutely amazing speech by President Obama delivered in Cairo, Egypt the very heart of the Middle East. It will absolutely take your breath away.

Now THAT, THAT is how an important speech should be delivered. And THAT is the kind of President that we deserve.
That was my first thought too: antidote! thank you! How undeservedly lucky we are to have Obama at the helm. Can you imagine Bush, McCain or Palin coming anywhere close to grasping Obama's goals here? And ACCOMPLISHING them -- or getting a good start. I thought the same re the economy, and now changing our focus . . . . Congratulations and thanks to our president!
ReplyDeleteSo how long do you think it will be before clips of Michael Reagon advocating stuffing grenades up babies butts and blowing them up for their first birthday will be circulting and linking Sarah and him together?
ReplyDeleteIt makes me laugh to think that Sarah thinks that in any way she can compare herself to President Obama. She is more ignorant than Bush and doesn't know it. Just like him she is filled with her righteousness and ego driven agenda.
ReplyDeleteIt made me wonder how she doesn't understand that she is our version of the Taliban. Extremism in a Christian cloak instead of an Islamic burka.
Whenever you think that your belief is the only true or relevant belief, it hurls you into bigotry, hatred and intolerance as you punish, judge and try to change the people who don't believe like you.
Thank you President Obama for showing us what a true, spiritually filled human being looks like. like.
C4p has an audio of her speech up. You can hear her very plainly saying, "Screw political correctness." Someone has got to get this out to the MSM!
ReplyDeletemidnightcajun don't you worry, my pal Dennis Zaki sold video of the whole damn speech to CNN.
ReplyDeleteI helped him move some picnic tables to his house today and he was stoked at how much they paid him for it.
Shocked, I read at HuffPost the FBI is looking for a guy who told a bank teller after he took $13K out of the bank he was going after President Obama. His whereabouts are unknown at this time.
ReplyDeleteFolks that keep inciting home grown terrorism over the air could be jeopardizing national security.
This is certainly the most important, most impressive presidential speech I have ever heard. Barack has somehow stepped, with complete confidence, from the national stage to the international stage. His political instincts are amazing. His vision for our country's place in the world is transformational.
ReplyDeleteFor a guy with no executive experience, he sure caught on quick. He will be one of our historic great presidents. We could not have gotten luckeier than to find this man at this crucial moment in history.
Sarah video and the radio program where she was gleeful over the woman with cancer would be an interesting compilation. There are so many more.
ReplyDeleteWhat Diana said.
ReplyDeleteHow thrilling to finally have a president I can be proud of. His crowning statement IMHO "what kind of world do you want your children to have?'
What a contrast to Scarah's speech about fear and division.
Thanks to Dennis Zaki for recording her speech. I'm glad he made some coin for his efforts. Every move this woman makes should be documented for future generations to study, so they can learn to avoid being duped by this sort of personality.
