Sarah addresses New York crowd about Autism as Bristol Palin doppelganger Willow Palin looks on.

I found this YouTube video on the blog Blow-Pop-Palin of our crazy ass Governor addressing a crowd in New York about Autism and just had to share it with you.

The video is very shaky so you may want to take some Dramamine before viewing it.

By the way check out the outfit that poor Letterman insulted Willow Palin is sporting.

I am sorry but if the Governor is REALLY concerned about her young daughter being sexually harassed she may want to suggest that the young teen wear some less revealing clothing.

I am just saying.

Just so you know, this was not in Auburn which is upstate, this was in Westchester county, in the town of Harrison I believe. It was what cause SP to leave the baseball game early and the drive is probably half an hour or 45 minutes to where this event was held. Perhaps Willow was with her at the game although I don't see her in the photos. I agree about the shorts and tight top on Willow. But look at her mom's shoes, those set a low bar. What is with SP's hair?

    Huh??

Palin wants to "thank" the POTUS for increased funding for autism research YET she was the one, during her VP campaign pageant, that criticized what she thought was pork but was really money earmarked for fruit fly research??

Someone get that woman a compass because she has no idea which way is up.

According to palingates, Willow's birth date is January 21, 1994.

So, it seems that she is 15 instead. Wow, that would indicate that the Palins can't tell the truth, no time, no how....

  4. Thanks Anonymous 5:03,

You know I was just upstairs and suddenly wondered if I had been sure about this being in Auburn. Obviously I was not.

Just shows that you should not rush a post.

Does there exist a photo of Willow at the Yankees game?? It's like the Birth Certificates-- we just haven't seen the photo proof that she was there (instead of, say, visiting with her aunt someplace else). PS No fair photoshopping her in after the fact! It's getting to be too late!

And, another catty note: Something about the "slutty flight attendant" remark must have resonated with Sarah, because we haven't seen that severe hairdo and toned down make up that she wore for her Matt Lauer interview. New look.

As I read someplace, she has seized on this opportunity to divert attention from her tacky outfits at a memorial service, in her visit to NY, Willow's tacky outfit, her "gentle references" to Newt's speeches, her botched on-again-off-again business with the GOP dinner. Does this wipe the slate clean? Did we forget that was just last week there was a new unflattering post about Sarah.

She's going to work this for all that it's worth. There is only one problem. Once she gets past "It's insulting to Willow" and moves on to "It's insulting to all young women," Sarah is taking on a cause that she is unfit to handle. She is no advocate for Woman's Rights. You folks in Alaska know her record better than I do. She was no substitute of Hilary, and she is not the spokesperson for Woman's Rights. And, given her parenting skills, I don't think she knows much about developing self esteem in young women. I would suggest that Gryphen, as described in his beautiful post about his daughter, showed his daughter more about believing in herself, loving her and helping her develop into a fine young mature woman.

  6. Boop-boop-de-doop! That was quite a show Sarah Palin put on as she kicked off her cork-soled red shoes and started to put on her walking shoes.

Bent over, barely flexing knees, short skirt...

Lots of leg showing, with whoever is operating this camera watching as avidly as every other guy who's in the first row here...

(I can practically hear "The Stripper" playing in the background...but that's because I turned the sound down on the video so I didn't have to listen to SP's screechy voice again)

    ReplyDelete
  7. geeesha looisha you'd think people never saw legs before.. all the vids of her the video person cant help but zip down a little
she has nice legs..but they are just LEGS
    everyone has them
and they are only showing calves.. hello?
That is not to uncommon to look at...hers arent riddled with cellulite and veins but 90% of women's legs in high heels arent
Just goes to show without some "normal legs" people would be bored stiff

    Hair extensions.

But my favorite part is when she changes shoes on stage, bending over in that skirt.

Also too, with Willow dressed like that Sarah has no leg to stand on regarding anyone making sexual remarks about her teenager.

Do ya think that Willow got a deal on some Candies t-shirts and daisy duke cutoffs thanks to Bristol?

Bill Maher was just on TV and he is being VERY raunchy re Palin stuff - he makes Letterman look like a boy scout! This was brought on by GINO herself - it is like she asked for it, by over-dramatizing the Letterman joke and not letting it go. Now the poor Palin girls will be fodder for raunchy jokes from all of the comedians - all because mommy threw them under the bus.

One thing I will give SP credit for is knowing how to appeal sexually to 62 year old men. Isn't that the base of her base? Doesn't she play the sexy card to men that age every day of her life? What I see is her raising her daughters to play their sexuality the same subliminal way, with Willow's outfits being an example. As a woman I find that conduct is terribly harmful to us all and it puts those nasty thoughts SP is so concerned about into the heads of old (and young) men everywhere. Gov you are at the top of the hypocritical heap.

Oh Gryphen, your hate for Palin is causing you to say stupid things now. Really darling, you don't go criticizinig a young girl for her clothes and allude to the clothes leading to sexual harassment. This is akin to saying that a woman wearing sexy clothes is inviting rape or if she is raped, the sexy clothes were the reason.

    Shame Gryphen! Shame, shame!

Think before you write something Gryphen. We all hate Palin but we need to make sure we don't leave ourselves open to some really big criticism of what we say. If Palin's handlers see this now darling, you're going to take a hit on it.

    You're welcome.

Oh Gryphen fuuuuuukkkkkk, I just watched the vid. If your gay daughter hears what you said about Willow you're in serious trouble. Willow was dressed quite appropriately for a teenager. You're over the top on this one sweetheart!

The mean spirited comments about a young girl must stop. She should not be the focus of your energy, your interest and certainly not your nasty comments. This level of attention and the vicious nature of the comments diminish the credibility of all that has been discovered and shared among the loyal readers and commenters on this site.

Please stop, regroup and once again direct your attention to what has mattered and still must matter. SP is becoming more prominent and much more sympathetic in defending her daughter. With each renewed attack on an innocent teen, you just seem small and well, just mean.

Have none of you ever parented a teen? Have none of you ever chosen to pick which battles you will fight with your teen? In my view, Willow was dressed like every other teen I see in the midwest. After an endless winter, a cold and wet Spring, kids and adults long for sunshine and fresh air. She was going on a walk, with her family, on a beautiful summer day. She did not dress for us and certainly may not have wanted to be "staged" for public ridicule.

Leave this girl and this subject alone. Those that have chosen to attack this teen should feel shame. I certainly feel it for you.

WTF,she thanks the President and Congress for autism research funds? Shouldn't government get out of the way, as SP loves to say at the drop of a hat. I say let the parents buy their own "autism kits." Isn't that the Republican way?

  19. Even more evidence that Sarah Palin == in her quest for more, more, MORE media coverage of Her Self == apparently COMPLETELY FORGOT parading Bristol in front of the nation last September resulted in Bristol being the butt of late-night talk-show hosts' monologues that long ago.

This recent kerfuffle, as Gryphen calls it, is pure faux outrage, for sure.

From Hollywood Insider (a source you'd think the Palins would know quite well):

"CBS has no official response to Palin, but a source inside the network forwarded EW this ABCnews.com article from last fall, cataloging various jokes many other late-night hosts made at the expense of Palin's daughter during the course of presidential campaign. (The implication: Letterman's joshing is nothing new—and Palin's anti-Letterman press blitz feels oddly behind-the times.)"

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi, Regina from palingates here.

Someone at Mudflats said Willow's birthdate is July 7, 1994. Other sources give the birth year as 1995. Sarah Palin's "medical records", i.e. the letter from Cathy Baldwin-Johnson says 1994.

We have birth mysteries as usual, it must be a Palin thing.

    ReplyDelete
  21. That's utter BS, Anonymous @ 9:54 PM, your comment about "Willow was dressed like every other teen I see in the midwest"

In the milieu Willow was in, she was NOT like every other teen -- she was in the entourage of a governor of a state, that governor being her mother -- and there are tasteful clothes even off the rack that both governor and daughter can wear without looking like they passed the morning giggling over boys at the mall, or shopping in Wal-Mart.

If I were the governor, and since I planned on being front and center in the Autism Walk, I would have gotten a nice running suit complete with long pants to go with those running shoes, and I would have started out the day with the running shoes.

If I were the governor exerting parental control and advice to my 14 year old daughter, I'd tell her the t-shirt was OK, but I expected her to put on those nice capris if she stood on stage with me.

Or else she could spend the day taking care of Karcher, and Heather could take her place on stage.

What's wrong with what Willow is wearing, typical of any other teenager her age.

Yeah, the hate on the left is really something else, I'm no fan of Palin, but the words of more than a few bloggers and their commentors are pretty outrageous.

I'm not dismissing the behavior of Governor Palin, but from someone who doesn't really have a dog in this fight, my observation is that the bloggers are just as much over the top as the Governor.

Sadly, the madness will only get worse as her political aspirations get bigger.

SARAH Q,peeland is the other way------------>
GINO does not know how to dress herself nor teach her daughter to dress for a public event. Yes maybe every other teen in the midwest (is NY midwest? kinda of always thought EAST COAST)but Willow part of the "Fist family of Alaska" was representing Alaska in Wasillabilly daisy dukes and tight tee shirt. A nice top and capri's might of went over better but what do you expect when mom dresses like a ho herself, the biggest wasillabilly representing "the great state of Alaska" You'd think the Alaska trust fund aka "slush fund" could of bought her daughter better clothes but GINO spent the money on pedicures and bracelets and bling for herself obviously.
And all this commotion, to cover her plagiarism of Newts speech! Heh! Lets not forget that...sweetheart!

    ReplyDelete
  24. If Palin is supposed to be so conservative she should 1) stop dressing like a sleezebag 2) stop having her daughter dress like a 14 year old sleezebag, 3)stop trying to 'turn on' her cowd by bending over in miniskirts. If you're going to talk the talk, walk the walk.

And she never walks the walk. She has the most vile mouth in US Politics.

She drew blood calling Letterman a sexual pervert and an advocate for child rape. Over the limit, just like she was at the rallies.

Lettermans jokes, while distasteful (and that IS what he does as a comic) were not full of absolute hate not were they intended to insight hate or violence.

I have readed Sarah fans calling for the kidknapping of Lettermans 4 year old son.

That's what Palin does, encourages terrorist-like behavior.

As far as Bristol, had she not placed herself on the national stage as savior of virginity, she would be off limits, but she did, so she is fair game.

And anyone who knows Palin (and we all knew) knows her eldest was knocked up and is and unwed mommy. Everyone KNEW which kid Letterman was joking about.

"...being sexually harassed she may want to suggest that the young teen wear some less revealing clothing"

What century is this thinking from? Yikes! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER does a female's clothing choice legitmately invoke sexual harassment. It's called "harassment" exactly because there is no reason for it.

Gryphen, PLEASE, talk through your ideas before posting. I believe you are well intentioned, but you are clearly NOT understanding how you sound to your readers. It might help you to translate to different scenarios to see if they trigger any natural alarm bells. For example, "... racially harrassed for dressing too black", "... gender harrassed for dressing too gay", "... age harrassed for dressing too old".

Many, many people have big concerns about the environment the Palin minor children are in. I hope you can express that fully and openly, from more appropriate perspective.

BTW, thank you for your blog and the forum you provide for comments.

What next? Newt in speedos and a rally for the reptiles at the Atlanta Zoo? The GOP have no standards for their politicians. They even think politicians are the same as your average Candie Inc teen. That is why they don't get the differences in how politicians can dress. The GOP have their reps of hoochie mamas and papas for the old duds that have money. The Palins are their standard bearers, soon the Senate and Congress will be adopting the Palin dress code. I can't wait. Can we get Larry Craig back? I want to see his new look. The late night comedians have hit pay dirt! After seeing how easy Palin is to control, notice she did an about change in the wardrobe department, she can be fun. IMO, I do prefer the legs and daisy dukes to the pinch ass librarian style. There's nothing like watching an old beauty queen as she tries to grab the brass ring one more time. What a role model!

  27. I disagree about the comments defending Willow's outfit. Trust me, I am no prude, and would be fine with my teenage daughter (I only have sons) wearing this outfit ANYWHERE else except if I am doing an official appearance as the SITTING GOVERNOR of a state (and maybe church). Elected officials must present a professional appearance, and if the children want to appear on the stage, then they must to...goes with the territory, end of story. If the shorts were one size bigger and two inches longer, no problem, even the shirt would be fine...I mean really, you can see her camel toe for crying out loud!

If this were my daughter, and she insisted on wearing that outfit, I would insist she not be on stage. But obviously Sarah has no ability to see beyond herself.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anonymous5:47 AM

Willow's outfit was completely inappropriate for a public event where she was appearing as the Governor's daughter. I believe that is the point Gryphen and many other posters have made. I'm an older female, but I don't think I'm the only person who saw the picture of Willow and thought Jody Foster in, what was it?, Taxi Driver? People draw conclusions from how one dresses and SP should have channeled any of my generation's mothers intoning "You are NOT going out of the house dressed like that." There was a dust-up some time ago when a group of high school students had their picture taken in the White House, and all the girls were wearing dresses and flip-flops. Nothing wrong with flip-flops, but inappropriate for a dress-up tour of the White House. Nothing wrong with a woman showing some cleavage, but not in the office. Nothing wrong with short-shorts, but not on a stage in front of tv cameras when you are, willingly or unwillingly, part of Alaska's First Family [gag me].

  29. not that sarah6:02 AM

another issue-- she lied about her interview with Zeigler. She didn't say anything about flight attendants. She was whining about how she didn't go to Bloomies, and chastising Dave for not talking about her autism duties. Yeah...Sarah doesn't understand that he is a comedian.

He is not obligated nor interested in reporting on you or your itinery, Sarah.

Ooh, for the ceepeers here, I grew up in the midwest and NO way would my mother have ever let me dress like that at a family function, a public funciton, etc. And I had to attend plenty of functions for my mom's work.

NOr would my mother EVER have changed on stage. Palin has no boundaries, she invites sexual thoughts in every thing she does, which is fine if you're not also refusing to study and learn policy and history, but she refuses to augment her so-called sexual appeal/charm (gag me- I think it's cheap beyond words and if I dressed like her, my mom would call me out) with brains and hard work.

As it is, she is wildly inappropriate with her daughters, her own manner and clothing, her speech, and the way she treats her youngest, who has health issues and special needs.

for all you cpers, google the audio clip where Palin aljughs at the female cancer survivor as the host calls the cancer survivor a "bit--", "fat" and a "cancer on Alaska". Palin giggles meanly and with glee the engtire time. you need to answer for before you claim that the left is attacking a feminist.

Seriously all this fashion police stuff needs to stop. No one gets to tell me or my teenage daughter how I should dress, and when I should dress. This is so stupid for people who call themselves progressive. Willow looks absolutely fine for a young girl, and if Sarah wants to wear short skirts so what. I could care less. What I could care about are her actions as governor.

The GOP have fund raising rallies in strip clubs, at Brintey Spears concerts, and in Hooters-- so 'm sure the "family values" follks will defend this outrageous outfit on both mother and daughter. But, then, the GOP stands for the stepfording of women, the plastication of women. They tell us that Hooters is a "family" restaurant. Anything is for sale, and when they put a cross on it, suddenly it's family oriented.

Sorry, but the GOP sells this cheap look on women. Just check out the Fox News Anchors. They all look like they've been put through the GOP plastic machine. At least they dress somehwat appropriately, but Palin dresses like...

She has no class, no dignity, and no self respect. An enlarged, distorted ego is not self-respect.

  32. Comment on clothing choices:

If it weren't illegal to be naked almost everywhere, what clothing you wear when you wear some wouldn't be such a big deal.

I'd just as soon our society got over its revulsion of the birthday suit. But, as long as that's where we are now, the closer you come to wearing a birthday suit in public, the more attention you draw to yourself.

When you go to a swimming pool, you and everyone else wears a bathing suit. Is that a problem? No. Skin everywhere! But if you attend a county commission meeting or a performance at the local theater wearing a bikini, you'd clearly be calling attention to yourself.

If you attend a funeral dressed in a mini skirt and deeply cut V-neck top with open-toed, bright red, 5 inch heels, what are you saying -- "Leave me alone?"

But hey, if you really want to "screw political correctness" then I guess it's okay to dress maverick-ly. Hehe. Just don't be surprised when someone notices.

  33. Levi as the voice of reason?

"I think he might have [crossed the line] a little bit, but I don't think he meant to hurt anybody," Johnston said in answer to Mario Lopez's question "Did David Letterman's joke cross the line?"

"He's a comedian -- that's what he does," Johnston said. "People are going to make jokes."

"And amidst the caterwauling, Levi Johnston has somehow emerged as the voice of reason. And Mario Lopez the best interviewer - sure sign of the coming Apocalypse."

  34. 6:04 AM says What I could care about are her actions as governor.

I agree. A governor and their family represents their State. If they chew tobacco, drool and spit on their plate at your fundraising dinner, they are a public servant representing their state. We may not have the same bar for appropriate actions, but we both care.

Where are people telling you how to dress? You and your daughter go girls! Wear whatever you like. You have every right to like your politicians as you see fit, the same for all of us.

  36. Wow, where does one start with the behavior on display in that video. Why did Sarah give this talk in her peep-toed red platforms then change into tennis shoes ON STAGE? It wasn't as if she even gave a long talk. It's such an obvious "Look at my great legs and my pretty pedicure" ploy. And if she insisted on wearing the totally inappropriate heels for her 1 minute talk, why didn't she wait to change until she was off stage? Well, gee, then we wouldn't have been treated to a mini-strip show and an even better look at her legs.

It will always be wrong to say that a woman invites sexual harassment by the way she dresses. But there are such things as dress codes in our society. Blatantly sexual attire is inappropriate in MANY instances, and this was one of them. It is not wrong to point that out. As a lifelong feminist who fought to get the "men only" sign taken off the weight room door at my college back in the 70s, it infuriates me to see our message being perverted to cover the antics of a woman who has singlehandedly set back women's participation in politics by fifty years. If a woman acts provocatively and dresses provocatively, we shouldn't have to put tape across our mouths to stop us from saying, Hey, that woman is using her sexuality to sell herself. We all have been thinking it for nine months now. Kudos to Letterman for finally saying it.

And as for her mothering skills, well... Does she never say, "You're not wearing THAT"? No, of course not; how could she?
