Keith Olbermann's Special Comment concerning Sarah Palin's "dangerous irresponsibility".

26 comments:

  1. Olbermann is so fricking histrionic. Maybe his messages would be better if he didn't emote so much when delivering them. Cheers!!

  2. Outstanding job by Keith. I wish someone would sit Sarah down and make her listen to this. Keith said what MOST thinking people have known for quite a while. Ron Reagan also skewered her today, comparing her to a circus clown.

What I want most to do right now is to walk up to Keith and say "Thank you". Once again, he's said just what needs to be said, just how it needs to be said. Here's a true call for civil discourse in the face of extremism and stupidity.

That was flipping RIGHT ON - he said exactly what I would like to say to the Medusa. Is this your legacy, Sarah of the Slithering Snakes? Violence and stupidity, law breaking and inability to have discourse with other citizens? I believe it is, and I believe that you are extremely lazy in that you are leading a group who only needs a face, not a mouth or a brain. You are that face - the face of hatred, racism, selfishness, and dishonesty. You are pallin' around with fire.

  6. The Daily Show:
"47 million people have NO access to Death Panels! This is unAmerican!"
This whole segment is awesome. Sarah TRIED to put that one back in the box, but she will NEVER live it down. She will forever be associated with the "death panels" who want to kill her baby. This may well be the moment that ruins her.

KeithO is a true American patritot! He nailed it tonight.
SP is a fraud... I tried to post something to her FB but I have been blocked. Must have been something I said about witches or the NAR. Censorship at it's worst. NP... I may decide to hack into her network... would not be that difficult.

That was quite the smackdown by KO. I *almost* feel sorry for ex-GINO, but at the same time I hope that she both listened to what he had to say and heard the message.

On a sidenote, I'd read earlier that many of the GOP are distancing themselves from her and her remarks, however, still ask why anyone is still listening to her at all ...

I'm still hoping that exposing the pregnancy hoax -- just because it's so simple == will slow her down:

The word I am hearing about Sarah Palin from someone in the know--like REALLY in the know--is that she plans to create and lead her very own right wing party pandering to all the crazy ultra conservative wing nuts. That would certainly fit her mavericky self image and allow her to remain in the spotlight and receive all the attention that she craves. That would also give her something to write about in her new book---Well should be a good show- no matter what.

Sometimes Palin bites the mamma grizzly bear, and sometimes the mamma grizzly bear gobbles up Palin and shits her out as one big nasty smellin turd.

With all legitimate media, and even Faux calling out the lipstick wearing pig, and Levi validating Gryph's blog...

Stick a fork in Moose Mamma, she's done.

I though Keith was outstanding tonight! One of his best "special comments" ever. He spoke so eloquently to how I feel. I only wish I could say it so well.

Gryfen, I read your earlier post and want you to know you are amazing and I am sorry for all the sh*t you have been through. You have my support my bookmark. :)

Another gorgeous rant by KO. Her "death panel" phrase will haunt her for years.

I think her rebuff of the Simi Valley 50th Gala Dinner virtually guarantees that her bridges with the Republican Party have been burnt. Her "very own party" might be an idea she has, but god knows her erratic behavior and incompetent staff are no match for the brilliantly run Obama campaign of last election. But it would put her back in the spotlight she craves, and that might be good enough for her.

Now visualizing her in an orange jumpsuit, so she can practice her drama behind bars, instead of on a national ticket.

  17. "Miss Palin". Man, I love Keith Olberman. This brought tears to my eyes because I have been harmed by Gov Quitter and the idiots she appointed from her high school class and other places. I was harmed by the people who were fear struck when the truth came from my mouth. I am thrilled to have him tell the nation that she is a danger. I have been telling people for a long time she is a "f***ing psychopath and they probably thought I was exagerating, I was not.

  18. Wow.

He really cleaned her clock, didn't he? And the clock of all the other idiots claiming euthanasia, rationed care, and all the rest of the idiocy.

    Very powerful.

  19. I heart Keith Olbermann..I know he can be melodramatic, but he and Rachel Maddow are the only people in the media who will say exactly what the rest of those talking heads are afraid to.

I agree, but I'd go a couple steps further -- sit Palin, Gingrich, and all the Liars Club at Fox News down, strap them in, tape thrir mouths shut with duct tape, fix their heads in those "halo" devices so they can't turn away, and turn Keith's video on -- loud.

    Repeat as often as necessary.

KO's Rant was awesome! Comparing her to dangling her kid like Micheal Jackson, Wow! I just see that pic Gryphen posted of her barely hanging on to Trig, and Micheal jackson dangeling his kid over that railing. Yes he Skewered her.
And Death panels, hope this brings some atten to the people who died under "Palincare" in Alaska.

  22. The best thing she could do is start a third party and divide the GOP vote.

But would the GOP powers ALLOW her to do this?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I get it that the GOP wants to use her as their sex pot rock star lure. They want all the help they can get to oppose health care reform. They can attach a phrase like "death panel" to her FB and it takes off, it's easy for the agitators to say and it keeps their adrenaline up. I don't know how long they will want to continue to use her after this. I don't see FB "Palin" as a workable long range plan for the GOP. Who knows what a FB political operative will do next? The actual Sarah Palin had a dream to twitter with freedom, that was what she said, it may have been a lie. A free twitter Sarah would finish off the GOP in no time. I think they put her on slow death.

At some point there will be others who want to run for President. A FB "Palin" will be an embarrassment, a free twitter Sarah Palin would be worse. She does have a few friends in the party who will stay with the FB farce to make it look like she has a political life. I may be wrong about the GOP but hope there are many more reasonable members. The powerful ones will eat her alive.

The people behind FB "Palin" want to dress up the next version of Sarah Palin and claim she is a viable political player. There are those that hang on to her running for President. I do not believe that can happen in the GOP. If she is to run, it will have to be another party. If someone gets the money for her she won't need the GOP permission. She can quit.

The book from the McCain people will bring out more on the American Independence Party. That may be her model.

She has since made some other stupid remarks in response to President Obama's health care reform speech on Wednesday. He said something to the effect that the health care reforms would cost less than the Iraq War and the Bush administration's tax breaks for the rich.

In her response, she claimed that he was demonizing the soldiers who fought and are fighting in Iraq. This is only the latest of inaccurate, inflammatory, and irresponsible comments she has made since the presidential campaign of 2008. These remarks only show that she DOES NOT possess the qualities that her followers like to attribute to her. It's amazing that people continue to take her seriously.

These same people who follow her claim that liberals fear her. What's scary about her is that she is one of the many right wing nuts who appeal to the worst impulses of their supporters by appealing to fear, ignorance, and hatred. It's not too far-fetched to imagine that one of these cretins would try something crazy, inflamed by the hateful rhetoric coming from the hard right.

Sadly, that has become the image of the Republican Party. The only way they can change this is to get rid of the wingnuts.
