Obviously the President thought these remarks were off the record, but he should have known better. But really who does not agree with Obama that Kanye was indeed a jackass?
I am glad Kanye apologized to that sweet little girl, and I really hope he learns to think before he grabs the microphone in the future. Especially if he grabs it out of a teenage girl's hand.
However I must admit that in the past I have enjoyed it when Kanye just blurted things out.
My favorite part of that is watching Mike Myers expression.
Kanye, “Note to self… after many swigs of Hennessy, shove a PBJ in my mouth.”
ReplyDeleteWell, at least, he’s sorry…
“I’m sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom,” West wrote on his all-caps blog. “I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would’ve said. She is very talented…I’m sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!!! I’m sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw.”
Of course, in typical Kanye fashion, the apology turned a bit sour in the end.
“Welcome to the real world,” he wrote. “Everybody wanna booooo me but I’m a fan of real pop culture!!! No disrespect but we watchin’ the show at the crib right now cause…well you know…I’m not crazy y’all, I’m just real.”
And the post has since been removed.
"Your true colors shining through..."
Why is everyone making a issue of this??? Kanyne west is a JackAss! Heh! He's been whining on the Video awards shows for years now. He's a sore loser.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they jumping on this? Just b/c Obama had a opinion.
I'm really tired of this BS. The right needs to STFU! Really!
OT HR 3200 has not public option, they went with co-ops.
ReplyDeleteKanye West is the biggest jackass we have besides the former gov. of Alaska. Who cares if Obama called him one? I did too.
ReplyDeletePres. B. Obama, is a human being. Well well well...hit me with a wet noodle! Why is it not ok for this man to have an opinion? Kanye was a jackass to do what he did, and I am glad the Pres. said so.
ReplyDeleteThis is making as much news as the Joe Wilson disaster, and it is not in the same league. Not by a long shot.
Pres. Bush walked into walls and doors, and said outlandish things.
Good heavens righties...give it up. Leave the man alone.
Let's hear it for the Palin Bots who are outraged over this, and yet Palin calling her own constituents "asinine" and calling for a backlash against them was GREAT.
ReplyDeleteHypocrisy much?
That PBJ mixed with the Hennessy will make him throw up. Just like tequila and PBJ.
ReplyDeleteSome things were not made to mix together, I don't care what anyone says.
And he did behave like a jackass.
He, he I almost forgot about the George Bush hates black people comment. Now that's entertainment right there. Good catch. BTW, Kanye is a pompous arrogant jackass.
ReplyDeleteWell Kanye did act like an ass. I don't blame Obama for saying it - the news media is so weird - the things they jump on
ReplyDeleteI agree with Obama but I see the issue is Terry Moran. I want to hear what ABC has done to him. The ABC apology -- totally expected but where's Moran on the matter. Anyone heard??
ReplyDeleteMoran is the co-anchor of Nightline
He was ABC's White House Correspondent from 1999 to 2005
He followed Al Gore's presidential campaign
He's not new to the politics game and knows full well the bantering back and forth before an interview starts is just that -- it's paws off.
This might lead to an improvement in West's public behavior. Being called out by the President is no small thing.
ReplyDeleteit must hurt when the first black president labels you a jackass...lmao
ReplyDeleteGryphen, FYI - @constant gina is a spammer. (For details, check the link.)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I can't imagine what, Glenn Beck talked about this on his radio show the next day. Guess he's run out of communists to fill up his time.
