Okay first off the book is 400 pages! No WAY did Rush already read the book!
So we KNOW he is lying.
Here is what I think happened.
Rush talked to Sarah on the phone while gazing lustfully at the Sarah poster that he has on his wall and occasionally reaching down to "adjust himself".
When she agreed to go on his show suddenly all of the blood raced away from Rush's brain to "other areas", and he decided in those few seconds that Palin must have written the most important 21st century political opus of our time. When in fact we know that is more likely for a room full of monkeys with typewriters to accomplish that task than for Sarah Palin with a room full of ghostwriters.
Sadly all Rush will be left with, after Sarah leaves his studio, is a crappy book from a bitchy adolescent girls perspective and some soggy Kleenex's to remember her by.
You know like every other Tuesday night in the life of Rush Limbaugh.
Rush needs to read more.

ReplyDeleteFor when SP's book comes out and there is scant policy in it, little of it I suspect 'substantive', Rush will look like a doofus, a liar, or he'll have to admit he was 'mistaken'.. I'm not taking bets on whether that last one will ever happen.
Of course, we will not have had the benefit of reading it yet and won't be able to point out all the lies and contradictions. She go on Rush, spout her platform which was no doubt molded by Rush, so she'll be once again preaching to the choir, won't have to defend anything, and she'll skate through with lots of great soundbytes but once again, no substance.

Yesterday, when people discussed an advance copy of Sarah's book, they agreed that it was light on policy. I guess that's enough for Rush.
ReplyDeleteWhat seems strange is that despite reports that Sarah trashed Levi in her book, now we learn that she does not even mention Levi-- even though Levi was made part of the campaign, fathered a child with Bristol, lived in the Palin house.
My guess is that whatever Sarah said about Levi could come back to haunt her in a custody hearing, so she was probably advised to get rid of the Levi Chapter. No policy, no Levi, now it's down to five chapters.
For Sarah to spent so much time reliving one of the low points of her campaign is sad. People on MSNBC said that a good politician does not look back, but forward. The fact that after more than year, Sarah still can't get past the Couric interview-- and that she is trying to blame Couric instead of herself-- shows how small and insecure Sarah really is. Sarah gains nothing from it, and it give people a chance to look at her disastrous interview again. (Tina Fey didn't help, either. Hope she comes back when the book is officially released).
If Palin's book is one of the most substantive policy books that Rush has ever read than it is obvious Rush needs to stop talking and start reading. Hey Rush...comic books don't count!

I'm still waiting for Matthews to bring up Limbaugh's latest point of view.

Ranier! At my left side was my dog Ajax who had been run over in 1986, and on the right was Iconic Trig Palin and Saint Sarah the Quitter! What a trip! He COULD have read it. I can read 400 pages in a day or so, particularly when it's thin, which you know Going Rogue is about as thin of a gruel as one could find. But then, the fact that he thinks it's about policy kind of a tip off that he didn't - since it's really all about Sarah.
