Sarah Palin's Oprah show outtakes.

Oh These are interesting.

Why did Sarah write the book? Because Sarah LOVES writing! And this book was not too darn hard (Having a ghostwriter do most of the work will definitely simplify the process don'tcha know.)

You know what sucked about the 2008 election? Embarrassing her self in the interviews? No. Losing the election? No. Getting her e-mail hacked? DING DING! You my friend are a winner!

How did Sarah break the news of her VP selection to the family? The Oprah Show version. Of course Shannyn Moore points out that there were other versions in the past.

Sarah just loves her some Joe Lieberman! And he gave her the bestest advice ever!

Okay gang I am headed over to Shannyn's for the great Oprah Winfrey/Sarah Palin liveblogapalooza (Is that a word?). Anyhow if you want to know what we have to say just head on over to Mudflats. I will see you there!

  4. Levi was watching it and commenting - and he is pissed! Says Palin has underestimated him - see Bree's blog for the video. Palin accused Levi of doing porn and called him "Ricky Hollywood."

This was a BIG mistake scarah! GO LEVI!

    You people are pathetic.

If anything that interview showed that Palin is a far more gracious person than the nasty Devon and Moore.

It looks like Willow has gained weight---judging by the picture with her mom/sister/Oprah and when they panned to the audience during the interview......this all must be pretty stressful for those kids.....

I tried to watch, I have never in my life seen the Oprah show so I thought I'd try. Lord God how can anyone watch Scarah lie non stop for an hour. I couldn't hang.

Anyone who sat through it all deserves a medal.

Gryphen, dying to hear all of your reactions!

  11. I'm so glad that Oprah behaved like the professional she is. If she had been too harsh on Palin, Sarah would have reacted the way she did to Couric (aka "the perky one") during the campaign. Palin was on the defensive with her, and it was so obvious in that interview where Couric asked her what she reads.

Much better to just let her run her mouth and leave it to someone else to point out all of her contradictions.

    Just sayin'.

  14. OT - Oh no - this is BAD NEWS from CBS website:

"Conservative party candidate Doug Hoffman (left) has "unconceded" the closely-watched N.Y. 23 House race, which he had previously thought he had lost to Democratic candidate Bill Owens, The Hill reports.

Hoffman, a favorite of the tea party movement, conceded on election night amid returns that showed he was down by more than 5,000 votes. But as the Associated Press reported on Friday, a "routine recanvassing of votes shows Owens' lead has narrowed to 3,026 votes, with about 5,800 absentee ballots received so far that have yet to be counted."

Hoffman announced his unconcession on Glenn Beck's radio show this afternoon."

Does anyone find it ODD that Hoffman, an ACCOUNTANT, conceded when there was a mathematical possibility he could win?

If there's one person in the world I wouldn't want to piss off it's Levi Johnston, all the more so because he is being represented by such legal Eagles.

    My God, what a lightweight!

Do you people realize the liability Johnston is to your own political party?

Have you paused to consider what the collateral damage might be if he
turns out to be nothing more than a misguided kid, who is being played like a violin by legal buffoons who will kick him to the curb when the
    gusher starts to go dry?

Has it occurred to you that IF he had anything worth selling that would sink Palin he himself would have been signed by a major publisher, and given a ghost writer to punch up his narrative?

He's got the Vanity Fare gig and a modeling job for Playgirl. He's been on the map now for several months and not ONE network heavy hitter
    has signed him.

If that doesn't tell you that he's basically a bottom feeder who is about to become a trivia question, what will?

  16. I was surprised that Katie Couric did not snark even on her show tonight. I mean Katie could have chosen some outtakes from her interview last year.
What is it with these interviewers? The time to advance is WHEN they are reloading. And if this interview is Scarah coming out gunz a blazin then she reloaded with blanks.
I hope this whole stupid, vacuous book gives Levi some ground to stand on.

That isn't a rumor Leu, that's a fact, you can bank on it.

Zaki always has the best stuff.

@6:16 PM Anonymous- I see your point. However, I don't belong to a political party, and I hope the best for Levi who was used and thrown under the bus by Mrs. Todd Palin. This isn't about politics, its about abuse. You just don't know the whole story.

@6:17 - Levi voted for McCain-Palin. Can't you ever get anything right?

    ReplyDelete
  21. @6:17 - no worries, "heavy hitters" are now lining up - including John Stewart. I predict major interviews for Levi - would not surprise me to see him on Oprah for a "rebuttal."
News today - NO frontal nudity in Playgirl - Levi kept it classy - and Palin dares to call it PORN? Without even seeing it? Reminds me of when she (through Meg) accused Levi of lying BEFORE his interview even aired. Palin is a ditz - Levi is more genuine and much smarter.

  22. Curious epidemiologist8:06 PM

As someone with more than a passing interest in this but little access to 'inside information', I was wondering if anyone could help verify the story I've been hearing in epidemiology circles that some, perhaps all, of the Palin family has been infected with hookworm. Without being morbid, a quick check of hookworm pathology would seem to strongly indicate the possibility of a cluster within the Palin family. (check Wikipedia for a good layman's description) Any confirmation or refutation of this story would be greatly appreciated.

    @5:01 p.m.

Oh, boo-fucking-hoo! You Palin-bots are the pathetic ones, constantly trolling liberal blogs, just to tell us how "hateful" and "pathetic" we are, for not realizing Palin's "awesomeness" like her mentally unstable fans (such as yourself) do. In case you haven't noticed, some conservatives have even been blasting her, and calling her a liar, too, because she is! It's not just a bunch of hateful "librul" bloggers. She couldn't tell the truth if her life depended on it. $arah Palin's "book" sure wasn't very "gracious!" Palin comes off as a hateful, divisive, lying, nasty to the core, mean-girl!

    @6:17 p.m.

Levi Johnston is not a liability to the democratic party. Because he is not the face of the democratic party. Leaders of the democratic party have not embraced Levi Johnston. He has only been embraced by bloggers, and some in the media. Unlike the leaders of the republican party (Michelle Bachmann, John Boehner, etc.) who have actually been embracing the looney "birthers," "tea-baggers," and "deathers," who are the face of the republican party. The republicans are responsible for "inventing" these rabid "movements." The democrats did not "invent" Levi Johnston. Levi Johnston is $arah Palin's (the republican's own liability )problem.

Thanks, Gryphen, for the links to the outtakes: When $P went on about how she "loves to write," Oprah did NOT ask her, "Then why the co-author?" Using "journaling" as a verb, GENUINE condescension, $P says to Oprah that HER journals undoubtedly weren't like Oprah's, since $P wrote about hunting trips and stacking firewood.

Also, $P's tribute to Joe Lieberman made me especially mad. His daughter went to school with my kids, and a bunch of us knew Joe back in the day--back before he started sucking up to the GOP. Joe-Means-No-on-Health-Care makes the amazingly even-tempered Mr. B madder than just about anyone!
