I lied.

Okay look I know I said I would (probably) stop posting videos about Congressman Eric Massa and his appearance on Glenn Beck, and his amazing road to self destruction, but then I saw the Colbert Report and Daily Show last night. It was SO funny.

No really, see for yourselves.

You watched didn't you? See? You are hooked too!

But hey it is not totally our fault! I mean this story has Massa-appeal. It is Massa-vely entertaining. It is political scandal Massa-bation, you can't just stop cold turkey.

I will start calling around a little today maybe there is a twelve step program we can join or something. I wonder if they provide Massa-done to help us ease off of our addiction?

I am an avid gamer and last night I saw the spin to the Massa story. I saw a person ask the question, did anybody see the Beck show? No one responded, so the same person said, it was completely clear that Massa was a clear sign of a person that had been directly threatened with his life if he talked.

I didn't respond because one, I was trying to enjoy my game and second I was hoping they would get in a discussion, I wanted to see what their opinion was on the show.

Here in NorCal, I think we should start using massa in our lingo instead of hella or hecka! "That was massa cool!" "I'm massa hungry." "Glenn Beck is a massa tool."

Funny! I thought yesterday's posting was funny, but you topped yourself today - that's not counting the clips.

At first, I kind of felt sorry for the guy, but my husband served in the Navy's submarine corps and had little sympathy. He said if the guy was the third most important officer on a carrier (I think that's what they said he had been.), then no wonder no one lodged formal complaints. He could do serious harm to anyone's career or make their lives miserable. He was pretty sure they could defend themselves but as long as he stayed away from them, most guys wouldn't pursue in those circumstances.

If Massa was on the fast track to admiral as they said, glad he didn't make it if he was climbing in guys bunks while they slept. Any joke he says he was pulling disappears when you realize he was their senior officer. Man, he's lucky we're just laughing at him and that he didn't get sent to the brig.

Still, glad to have had a good laugh this morning! Thanks.

  7. What in the world is Sarah going to do to get the eyes off Massa and back on to her?

  8. I wonder who will get fired from the beck show for this little incident?
Or did beck do this all by himself?

If fear for his life? What a joke.
The guy is a looser. he was protecting his own behind.

  14. Oy! this freak is a trainwreck. What bothers me more is the thought of how many people covered for him over the years.
    Harassing subordinates is serious business.

in 2005 when he switched from Rethug to Dem, someone should have locked the door and said "thanks but no thanks"

Now, the RW is trying to say that Speaker Pelosi knew all the rumors about Massa as early as last fall.

See how it works? You just can't trust Republicans, even ones who "convert" to Democratic.

Massa made some salient points against the Tea Party and the Fox News pundits, he slipped in the back way so to speak.

It still doesn't erase what a total predator and abuser the Massa-hole is, in his Navy days in command, and as a Congressman.

Shame on those that let him rise the ranks and get elected in the first place. At least he let himself out. . .

    The poor victims.

Anonymous 11:25am made a good point: Massa did indeed chastise Faux news and the Tea Party. So I gave Massa a few points for that and for completely blanking-out Beck. How many people have down that? Can't think of any off-hand.

Still, I agree, those few points don't counter or erase the other stuff. Glad he's out of the Navy and Congress. Hope he can patch together a viable life for the sake of his family.
