Well I am not a fan of reality shows as a rule, but if forced to choose between watching a shirtless Levi chasing Valley girls through the wilds of Wasilla or watching Sarah read notes off her hand about Alaska's wildlife, I choose Levi.

ReplyDeleteCould you imagine some fucked up parallel universe where Palin and McCain won the election and Barack Obama was fighting with Malia's baby-daddy while both were shopping reality shows and Mr. Obama was "writing" hate speech on a BS social networking site? Reality shows and Facebook. Is this really what we have become?
In what world is any of this normal? Does anyone else have a problem with the classless and the clueless getting all this publicity and money thrown at them besides me? All the while, people who've worked hard and played by the rules all their lives are being let go from jobs with no chance of finding new ones. This is making me so ill. Is it ok for me to say I want my country back? The country where people like the Palins, et al were ignored and smart people with ideas were revered, not this topsy turvy, opposite day-type nonsense we have witnessed in the last year and a half.
I think Palin wants violence to happen. She seems gleeful when talking about violence and seems as though she is taunting. If I acted like she does, I would be arrested. She should be. Palin is a sick, hateful person(?) who is harming this country.

I would much rather have seen Levi buckle down with a "real" job, out of the Hollywood spotlight that seems to so easily corrupt a person with false idolatry and easy, short-term money.
I fear for Levi because once everyone gets bored of him, what then? I could give a shit about Palin, but I'm concerned about Levi. This stuff never lasts forever and what does he have to fall back on? Nothing.

I'm in no mood for another Alaskan hype. Levi is a kid and nicer, but it is the same old. He is not that different from Palin and he will tease, but not open up enough to aid his country. ReplyDeleteVandal and burglary ringleader, Willow Palin, angers parents who aren't that sick of the corruption. Other parents in the Mat-Su Valley are not that different from the Palins. The kids are pretty frisky and when they can get out of a DUI or the like, it's cool. Many of the kids are unsupervised, with the long winters they would be bored without partying. So another Palin in leadership gets by with crimes, this is not unusual. It is normal in Sarah Palin's Alaska. To the Discovery Channel it will make for more viewers and they will like the mavericky aspect.
I just read SP's violent themed FB post and I sincerely hope no one responds to it. It was clearly designed to get attention. It's pathetic and so obvious that she doesn't care if she's loved or hated, as long as she's still seen as relevant. She would love nothing more than to have all Democrats start focusing on her again. And why? She has no office and no hope of holding one ever again. She controls a shrinking minority of followers. Not even all of the teabaggers like her. Libertarians hate her. She's an incompetent joke, which is why she hates Obama so much. He just beat her again and she's lashing out like a petulant child.

She really does not want him to make enough money to satisfy the child support judgement against him. With TV show he might just make enough money to satify the greedy Palins and be able to rightfully have joint custody of his son.

The possibility for Levi doing an Alaska reality series was mentioned by Tank months ago. It was shortly after that, that Bristol & Sarah decided they too could be 'stars'. TLC is no big deal. Levi heard talk of Palin reality show when he was a member of the family in the happy time. Who cares who was first? It is the whole reality (fake doc) show mentality and the thinking that quick fame and money is the answer.
